Please Wait.

OK this is totally unfair, I purchased a MuVo-TXFM and it worked great, I was the happiest guy in the world for 2 weeks I think, I loved it!!..then I got the brilliant Idea of pulling up the creative website, and noticed that there was a firmware update. I looked at the what I currently had and saw it was .xx , I saw that there was a .3, it spoke of firmware this being a fix for .00xxx, I investigated it and saw it added features like cue/review (I had before) and fixed a volume issue ( I didnt have) anyways I went ahead and updated it, it went on fine, and succefully updated me to .3.03.
NOW it acts stupid, when I turn it on not it says "Please Wait.." It never did that before, its slower, and it forgets my presets, happened 3 times now, once the battery went dead, the other two times, it was just turned off.
Is there archi'ves for the . firmware anywhere? ot this is going back to futureshop I tried to re-flash the bios with the .3 firmware again and it again said successful but still acts retarded. So one last time I formatted it, flashed it again, pulled the battery, put a brand new Energizer (had a duracell) and tried one last time.. still its acting like I dropped it off the CN tower.
Has anyone had this problem? or seen this stupid "Please Wait.." screen? I liked it better before, I regret updating the firmware, and want the version back.
Can anyone help before I make the trip back to futureshop? is there a way to factory reset it's I can prob take it apart and pull the memory battery, that will VOID my warrantee Im thinking. .HELP please someone.
Realrobley

hehe.. muawaahaaa
Lucky for me I found a 3rd party hack site that fixed it, and added some cool features extra, thank you softpedia, , this rocks, I have a balance, a DX option for FM, and I can change the eq settings for pop, rock, ect.. heck before I coudnt even see the eq setting for those , just the custom one, theres like 0 different sounds, and a better battery indicater bar has 8 (across the sceen) not like the cheesy 4.(factory) . anways its called firmware v. .2.95 and ONLY works for the TXFM MuVo.
Wel thanks anyways everyone, im back and mehe

  • Launching VB6 Editor after installing Visual Studio 2013 results in "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Visual Studio..."

I have had various versions of Visual Studio installed beside Visual Basic 6.0 Enterprise for some time with no problems, most recently Visual Studio 2012 Premium.
I recently installed Visual Studio 2013 Premium, and now every time I open VB6 I get a dialog that says "Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2013" that shows a progress bar. After it finishes (30 seconds or
so), it launches again and again and finally VB6 will open. This happens with each instance of VB6, regardless if I've already done it once and never run VS2013 in between.
If I cancel the dialog, I get this error message in a dialog: "Error 1712. One or more of the files required to restore your computer to its previous state could not be found. Restoration will not be possible." Several more "Please wait"...
dialogs will appear and if I continue to cancel, eventually I'll get the VB6 editor. It appear to work fine despite the error messages.
It seems to me that the VS2013 installer flagged some dll's or other files to be rolled back whenever starting VB6. It doesn't appear to be necessary, and I'd like to avoid playing the "Please wait" wack-a-cancel-button game before launching each
instance of VB6 (or waiting several minutes for no reason). So how do I fix this?
Note: I've seen something similar happen in Outlook on a different PC when upgrading from 2010 to 2013. The same sort of "Please wait"... dialog would appear each time I opened Outlook. Judging by the "similar" questions that popped up when
entering this forum post, I'd say this is a general problem with upgrading older versions or installing newer versions of major Microsoft software side-by-side.
    /* Don Reynolds */

    I found the answer!
I was having the exact same issue, and I was search for a solution and I happened across the following thread: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/f4b0fd38-f4f9-41ea-bd8d-834203a175d2/building-visual-studio-2010-project-triggers-please-wait-while-windows-configures-visual-studio?forum=vssetup&prof=required
Scroll a small bit down, and there is a post by Barry Wang explaining that you need to use event viewer to find out what is missing. Anyway, I opened event viewer, then open VS 6, then hit refresh in the event viewer (under Windows Logs -> Application)
and saw a warning message from MsiInstaller. It gave me the following message:
Detection of product '{9C593464-7F2F-37B3-89F8-7E894E3B09EA}', feature 'Visual_Studio_Professional_x86_enu', component '{E3FF99AA-78B9-4A06-8A74-869E9F65E1FE}' failed.  The resource 'C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\URTInstallPath_GAC\' does
    not exist.
I opened an elevated command prompt, I navigated to the C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework folder and verified that 'URTInstallPath_GAC' didn't exist, and then I did "md URTInstallPath_GAC".
Closed and reopened VS 6, and it instantly opened - no "Please wait" message.
Now this may or may not be the same problem you are having (problem is - I have had it happen on two separate computers now with VS 6 and VS 2013 installed), but it should point you in the right direction. In fact, you should be able to use the Event Viewer
for anytime the "Please wait" message shows up for any application, and then once there find out what is really missing.

My ipod 60gb classic is showing as fully charged until I connect it to my pc when it comes up with the error message, 'please wait very low battery' and the little wheel goes round and nothing happens, can anyone explain why this is and what i can do?

I have worked my way through the assistant and nothing works. I have tried connecting in disc mode but although the screen on the ipod is showing that the device is charged and that it is in disc mode as soon as I connect it to the computer it comes up with the error message 'please wait very low battery' and stays like that until I disconnect when it appears to be OK again. I have tried on both pc and mac.
BTW the ipod is an ipod video not classic if that makes any difference.
    Thanks

  • Is there a setting to automatically close the "please wait while we generate your document" page that pops up when downloading a pdf file?

I am constantly downloading pdf's and excel files from our company software which uses a web browser to access it. When I download a file, firefox generates a full screen pop up window that states "please wait while we generate your document." My problem with it is the fact that pop up window does not close after the download. I have to manually close the window. Is there a way to set that pop up window to close automatically after the file has finished downloading and is open in foxit reader or excel or word or whatever?
    Thanks,
    Tony

    Hi,
You could try is to '''Disable''' the Foxit, Adobe and Office '''Plugins''' in '''Tools '''('''Alt '''+ '''T''') > '''Add-ons''' and use the normal Firefox Open with (when you click on a link) to browse/open it in the required application.

  • No more than 1 sessions at a time are allowed. Please wait until open sessions expire.

I have been unable to log into my Actiontec MI424WR router this week, The router returns the message "No more than 1 sessions at a time are allowed. Please wait until open sessions expire." every time I try to log in. This has been going on for days.  Even pulling the power to reboot it did no change.  I'm the only user in the household that would log into it, so I don't understand how this could occur.  How can I get in?
    GLN2

I really don't want to do a hard reset as I have a handful of custon port forwarding rules that I had created. I'm not a wiz at that, so it would take me too much time to re-create!  I may have no choice. Next time I can get in I will try the backup of the config file. I hope it contains the port forwarding rules.
The backup function should work fine, I have used it to save my Steam port  forward rules to my hard drive, after a pin hole reset I was able to restore successfully. I did configure mine to 1 session & ALWAYS   logout when I am done.  I have never had any problems logging into the router. But in your case you may need more than 1 session allowed.
Are you using a native or 3rd party app to remember your router ID/password? IF you are do not do this, you are "defeating" the built in security of the router

  • My ipod wont charge right and is telling me to charge please wait

I wonder if any of you can help me. My 160 GB ipod classics battery doesnt appear to be charging, and now it simply wont connect to the pc or itunes. When i plug it into the pc it comes up with the battery at red, a caution sign infront of the battery and it reads charging please wait. When i unplug it from the pc it says connect to power so this leads me to believe that it isnt the wire itself. I have tried charging it with a plug (with the same wire as it was needed for the plug) and again it says charging please wait. I've left it in for an hour at a time. This happened yesterday but eventually it retained some small charge and allowed me to listen to it for 3 hours. The battery was fine this week and last week. Does anyone know whether there is something i can do to try and fix this problem

    Hello joan marie\'s ipod,
Thank you for the question.  You can safely eject your iPod using these steps:
    To eject iPod:
Select your iPod in the iTunes Source list.
Click the eject icon next to the iPod in the Source list or choose Eject iPod from the Controls menu.
You can find these steps and additional ways to eject your iPod in the following article:

  • X305-q706 Stuck on splash screen where is says "Qosmio" with please wait...

    Hi,
recently bought a Qosmio x305-Q706. First time I booted it up it gets to the splash screen with Qosmio displayed with "please wait" at the bottom and hangs there forever. The only way I can get it to boot is to cold boot it and mash the F12 key while it's loading the splash screen, if i'm lucky I can get into the option where u can choose which device to boot, and if I manually choose the harddrive I can load windows.
Anyone hear of this issue or how to fix it? I've tried changing settings in the BIOS nothing. To Re-iterate, it's stuck on the pslash screen with Qosmio displayed, and if I press any key on the keyboard once it says "Please wait..." it just brings me to the bios :( .
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello
It is very stupid situation and I really cannot understand why notebook hangs on this start-up level.
Somehow is your Qosmio confused and cannot make decision which device should be first bootable device.
Is some external device connected to your Qosmio notebook?
Maybe BIOS update can help but if you have brand new notebook this is not solution. This is newest notebook and I presume there is latest BIOS version. So, if I were you I would contact either your local dealer and ask for replacement or Toshiba service directly. This behaviour is definitely not strange and notebook somehow hangs on BIOS POST (Power-On-Self-Test).

  • ITunes 10.7 upgrade - 'Please Wait While Windows Configures iTunes'

Upgraded to iTunes 10.7, which I now regard as one of the poorest pc-related decisions I've ever made.  The time suck on this issue is massively depressing.
Running Windows Vista.  Have completely uninstalled and re-installed (clean registries, re-boots etc) all iTunes and Apple products with no resolution.
Every time I try to start iTunes I get a "Please Wait While Windows Configures iTunes" message on loop.  At some point it will usually default to "Checking iTunes Library" and then both that and the installer will run in tandem.  When I look at Task Manager it seems to indicate from the amount of memory usage that iTunes is in fact running in some form or at some level, but it does not actually open the program.
When I reinstalled yesterday iTunes opened right up (after the install it did not ask me to reboot the system).  When I restarted the system this morning the problem was back.  Just installs and installs and installs ...  Doesn't actually open.  Wouldn't any registry conflict/problem have been fixed with the clean reinstall?
I've tried every solution/trick/suggestion I can find with internet searches. No luck.  This has been a month now.  iPhone and various iPods completely inaccessible re content and that really hammers home the danger of relying on a closed system like this.  Really disappointed in this situation.
Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated.

    I am using iTunes 7.1.1

  • Photo synching reads 'Please wait, updating library'?

Hi, synching OK with all other features of iTunes however my photo library just has the message: 'updating library, please wait'. It never stops & so I need help please.
Running Windows Vista & no issues with my iPod Touch.

Have you looked at the past discussions on this same problem? You can easily find them by using the search function the right and search the iPad forum for "updating library". There is one page of results for the last 90 days.

  • Please wait for the group policy client - shutting down issues

    Hi
I have issues with shutting down machines. When machine is connected to company's LAN everything works fine. However, if machine is connected to VPN - Juniper NC - 1 hour or more it always hangs when it is shutting down. When I shut down the machine
(verbose mode on), first stage is:
Please wait for the system Event Notification service.
    This ends exactly
    after 3 minutes. Next stage:
Please wait for the group policy client windows 7
...is never timed out (even after few hours). Machine never shuts down.
In Application logs there are always these 4 events when machine is unsuccessfully shutting down:
6005: The winlogon notification subscriber <Sens> is taking long time to handle the notification event (Logoff).
4627: The COM+ Event System timed out attempting to fire the Logoff method on event class {D5978650-5B9F-11D1-8DD2-00AA004ABD5E} for publisher  and subscriber .  The subscriber failed to respond within 180 seconds.
The display name of the subscription is "ISensLogon2". The HRESULT was 80010002.
6006: The winlogon notification subscriber <Sens> took 180 second(s) to handle the notification event (Logoff).
6005: The winlogon notification subscriber <GPClient> is taking long time to handle the notification event (Logoff).
Sens is timed out after 3 minutes while there is no 6006 event for GPClient and machine is stuck there for ages (Please wait for the group policy client
stage). I noticed in System logs that machine always hangs if there is this error
5783: The session setup to the Windows NT or Windows 2000 Domain Controller \\server for the domain X is not responsive.  The current RPC call from Netlogon on \\machine to \\server has been cancelled.
I made a group policy log and below you can see part of GPSVC log when machine is unsuccessfully shutting down:

I tried with signing out from VPN before shutting down machine, I even switched off WiFi but machine still hung. If i tried to get GP results before shutting down machine it takes ages and it is stuck in "Getting the user name" stage.
Gpupdate /force never updates policy (It stops at Updating Policy...). I tired with installing different hotfixes which did not resolve the issue. I never have any
issues with logging in, no GP scripts are applied when user is logging off or on, no roaming profiles. The only issue is when machine needs to be shut down.
I excluded 1 machine from GP and left it on VPN for a few hours, several times. It always shuts down successfully. I applied GP back one by one and the one which is presumably causing an issue is Avecto which adds admin rights when VPN application
    starts (event 100):
Process started with admin rights added to token.

I guess there is a DNS issues when machine is on VPN which leads that GP cannot be applied / updated. Not sure if or why Avecto would have an impact on this. When machine is trying to shut down it still somehow thinks it is connected to DC. What
I also noticed are several explorer crashes while machine is on VPN.
Does anyone have same issues? All machines are Dell with Juniper NC (VPN).
    Thanks,

    Hi,
According to event log, Winlogon process takes a long time to handle logoff event. That's to say winlogon process is waiting for response to logoff.
According to your description after, this problem is most probably caused by Avecto. You can try to disable or uninstall it temporarily for test.
To make further troubleshoot with this problem, you can try to use WPT (Windows Performance Tool) to make troubleshoot.

  • Windows 8.1 stuck on "please wait" after update

Hello. I recently got a new hp all in one 23-p010 about 2 weeks ago, and i have run into a problem. Last night i was getting ready for bed so i pressed update and shut down, and windows began to update and shut down like normal. The next morning, i turn it on it and i see the hp logo, then as its booting i see a blue sceen with the word "please wait". Now this has happened before but it leaves in seconds so i thought it was normal, however it has been hours and the screen has not disappeared. I cannot boot into my computer. I have tried shut downs but nothing. I really could use some help here. Thanks.

    Hi,
Contact HP ASAP. If the refund/exchange window is open then take it back to th retailer.
