This is an unfinished std. def video hence this issue I ran into which is just a fun video for my youth group kids I teach at my church. I am editing it in final cut pro 7 and if you see at about 35 seconds the aspect ratio changes whatever its doing with the picture there.
I have never ran into this problem before so I don't know if its something I may have selected on the camera accidentally or done wrong in FCP but I shot all the video the same day of course for this event of ours and all the other video is fine an in 16:9 or what was called the "letterbox" option on my Panasonic DVX100B.
Please help me correct it if you know how. Thank you very much in advance.

Aspect ratios can be tricky and there are a few spots you can mess them up. First I would check to make sure that your sequence settings are the same aspect ratio as your original footage. I would also make sure your exporting with the correct aspect ratio as well. (If you’re using the quicktime conversion option. Sometimes depending on your settings options like 16:9 are not turned on by default and you need to check them before exporting.)
Also if you can change the aspect ratio in FCP regardless of your sequence's aspect ratio is. Under your distort tab there is a aspect ratio option. +33 will make your footage 4:3 and -33 will make your footage anamorphic. However this will only stretch your footage. This method is only useful for when you can to place 4:3 footage into a 16:9 sequence without it appearing distorted and stretched

How I can correct the aspect ratio?
Hi, I hope you can help me.
I want to resize a 1920x1080 to 1440x1080 video, how I can correct the aspect ratio of HD video without the black bars appear above and below?The original image is stretched horizontally and I want to fix this by resizing the video output to fill the full frame (4:3) without the lines that appear above and below, Premiere is not allowing me this.
I can do it using video converters but the results do not convince me, do not make the 4 processor cores and cause loss of frames in the video.
So I prefer to edit and convert directly into Premiere.

Can I change the size of my enhanced Podcast or correct the aspect ratio
I would like to be able to embed pictures in a Podcast that are 480x360. As a worst case, I would like them to be 320x240. Is this possible?
When I open my .m4a or .m4b in QuickTime I see that I can adjust the aspect ratio or size. However, as far as I can determine, QuickTime will not let me save the change unless I save into a format other than m4a or m4b.
Saving as a mov eliminates the chapter control which I want to keep.
Does anyone know of a way to fix this limitation?
I'd accept 480x480 if that were possible too!

The aspect ratio appears correct in a video iPod or via the iTunes interface. However, if the same file is played via QuickTime then the aspect ratio is forced to a square.
The overall intent is to view the enhanced PodCast full screen which can be done via QuickTime. The "Now Playing" window in iTunes is too small (Clicking on it to bring up the current slide does not work as the slide is not updated concurrently with the "Now Playing" window. -

Computer suddenly ridiculously slow. Please read, and help if you can.
Problem description:
I very recently did a clean install of Yosemite, and everything was going great, but all of a sudden, everything slowed down like crazy today. The cursor moves slow. Clicks take MINUTES to register, and Chrome, Firefox, and Safari lock up completely. If I don’t start Activity Monitor and have in running in the front pane to see what is happening, it becomes impossible to load it at all, and I end up having to do a hard reset.

Kernel panic(s): please read and help if you can
I've had a couple kernel panics in the past few days; I believe that two of them happened when I was away from the computer and the computer then (eventually) shut its display off, so that when I returned to the computer, it was completely unresponsive except to holding down the power button for a little while and then restarting. I've pasted the last few k.p. log files here; can anyone tell me if they are related, and what they are? (and perhaps also a quick k.p. log file primer, so I'll know what to look for in the future?)

I am pretty much greatful with your help and assistance in resolving my issue. Of course your guidlines helped alot, no doubt. I followed your hints and made the changes as you directed, however, still the report is not reflecting the desired changes. What I find other than the DESNAME changes, the system parameters like DESTYPE, MODE and ORIENTATION have fixed width 80 which I can not change. I was thinking if we can change that, then probably it will reflect what we want, but I can not change them because they are fixed. How can I change it I don't know. Do you have any hints here? As it is fixed for all reports I have here. I dont even know if this could be set initially when they install the report designer or what.

ZahirIf you want to change the system parameters width, you should first change the report width in the Layout section of the report. Go to the Main Section in the layout Model and open the property sheet. Then change the width of the report. This new width will now be reflected in the system parameters as well.

What I find other than the DESNAME changes, the system parameters like DESTYPE, MODE and ORIENTATION have fixed width 80 which I can not change. I was thinking if we can change that, then probably it will reflect what we want, but I can not change them because they are fixed. How can I change it I don't know. Do you have any hints here? As it is fixed for all reports I have here. I dont even know if this could be set initially when they install the report designer or what.
