Please, what should I do to get mail working again

I am going crazy with this one... Mail 2.1.3 - OS 10.4.11. The problem is that I do not receive replies from certain people that are in fact sending replies. Sometimes I email them and get a reply and sometimes not. I have a co-worker that keeps calling me on the phone wondering why I am not emailing him back, and I have been wondering why he never replies to my emails? He gets mine, I do not get his. I do not have a .mac account I have a mindspring account. Anything suspected there?
Nothing in the Junk Folder and all Junk settings have been checked, reset, etc.
Any thoughts????

I've used RoadRunner cable service since its inception in my area and have never had problems with mail coming in. I once had a problem sending mail to a friend in Canada which turned out to be a problem with his mail ISP. I've never had problems with RR neither here nor away.
I also use Mail, so I don't think that's your problem. But if you want another mail program to try just visit VersionTracker or MacUpdate and search for them. There are a lot such as PowerMail, Gyaz Mail, etc. Take care because only a few handle IMAP accounts.

Try trashing apple.com.dashboard.plist from preference library and restarting Mac.
Quit all applications.
Open Finder- Click the left most icon on the Dock.
Holding option key click the Go menu from the menu bar.
Select Library and then Preference folder.
Select apple.com.dashboard.plist and move it to trash.
Restart Mac.

Try a reset: Hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go.

I've upgraded to 6.0.1 and now firefox no longer loades AT ALL. I get this XULRunner error: Platform version "5.0" not compatable with minVersion = 6.0.1 and maxVersion = 6.0.1. What can I do to get Firefox working again as my browser?

After deleting everything, I've also tried to reload 3.6.12 fresh and I get a totally different nss3.dll entry point cannot be found error.

Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

The update to OSX Mountain Lion disabled my PS4. Have tried everything on the troubleshooting list, then uninstalled and reinstalled and still getting the same error message 150:30. What can I do to get it working again???

It has been a while since I have used it so didn't know until I had the error come up. Same with my laptop.

There is a License Recovery script that uses Terminal.app (just enter that in Spotlight).
It also helps to do this in a admin account or to have your account with Admin privileges.
Now go to this link: Error 150:30, Nothing works. Help plz and carefully follow the instructions in message 5.
Before you enter your password, the screen should look like the example.

I recently install Lion OS on my iMac and just found out that my Canon 4400F scanner won't work with Lion, what can I do to get it working again?

I am having trouble with some of my previously installed software before installing the New Lion OS. I just found this evening that my Canon 4400F Scanner will no longer work with the new OS. I need to know if there is a solution for this short of buying a new scanner? I am also upset that my Microsoft Office Professional will no longer boot as well. Anyone know why this took place?

If it will not longer work due to Lion, it's most likely becasuse no drivers for Lion have been released. No way to get aroud it other than going back to Snow Leopard. MS Office wont work if it is '04 or earlier becasue it is a PPC application. Mac switched from PPC to Intel in 2006 and created the Rosetta emulator to allow companies to make their software compatable or allow users to buy new software. After 5 years, Rosetta support was dropped, with the release of Lion. No way to get this software to work with Lion.

You don't have "Photoshop" proper. You have a cheapo emasculated version called Photoshop Elements. That is NOT Photoshop.

First, try logging out of iTunes, then log back in. See if doing that fixes things.

I read through the thread you mentioned and it seems that people are having a lot of problems with the iCloud clients, so we're not alone, but the unique issue in my case is the failing email address vs. the working perfectly email address.
After reading your message tonight, I tried my setup again with the preferred Apple ID (the one without the "." between the names), and for the first time ever, IT WORKS. Mail app configured the servers both send and receive as p01-smtp.mail.me.com and p01-imap.mail.me.com. For the first time, I'm able to send and receive into the Mail app, create mailboxes, move messages into and out of mailboxes, keep Sent messages, etc.
I had a 50-minute support chat with MobileMe support via ExpressLane on Monday afternoon. They couldn't resolve my issue but passed me on to escalation. I was told to expect to get an email from advanced support by this afternoon, but none has arrived. However, so far tonight -- and I will check again tomorrow several times before declaring victory -- it looks like something has been fixed on the Apple end to make things work.
I will report back after I do some additional testing tomorrow to make sure the fix is real and is solid...and before I let my friend, the new Mac user, know the good news.

thank you guys really much appreciated , i downloaded the free trial it said 2000 pictures deleted >>> the good news is i found a photo stream folder on my lap so i got almost all except for the last month :-) its really good news for me & about the contacts ----> i found a contact recovery from SIM in my phone settings ....so most of my contacts are back except the newest ones __ thanks again

Are there apps you don't need or use? Delete them.
Is there content you've downloaded from iTunes that you can delete (as long as it's available in iTUnes, you can redownload any previously purchased content)
Do you have any large e-mails in your mailbox? Such as mails with photos.
Do you have photos that you don't want or need anymore?
Settings, general, usage can tell you how much space apps are taking up and that can help you choose what needs to go, what's part of the problem, etc.
