What and where is my product keys?

I need to record my product keys for our auditors and of course possible reinstallation.
I have many new computers the surreal numbers. It appears that Lenovo now does not put a sticker on any of their workstations. I did find a command that seems to print out the information that I need;
C:\Users\cmaher>c:\windows\system32\wbem\wmic.exe csproduct list full
This seems a very handy, So to test it out I ran this command on the older windows seven professional computer that does have a sticker on the outside and I got something that looks like the following.
UUID=111AA1AA-11A1-11A1-1108-1AA9A1111A11
(I have put numbers were there are numbers and letters were there when letters.)
The problem is that this number doesn't seem to line up with a sticker that is on the computer, so im confused is this the key that I need or not. Now maybe sometime in the past I did a reinstallation and maybe Microsoft validated it with a different
number I'm not sure. But even if that's true the series of numbers in a series 8-4-4-4-12 doesn't seem to fit any key system for windows 7 that I can find on the net. So is this my key that I need or not.

Where is my product key?

I purchased and installed my PSE-10 some time ago from a download, and recently had to re-install it due to corrupted codecs, but now I cannot find my product key, so it is installed as a 'trial' version, prompting me for the key. I checked my Adobe.com products and apparently I did not register it, so the key is not there. Is the key embedded somewhere in the saved program data files? Where do I find it? Any ideas on this?

I do not keep email over 90 days. This was a long time ago. First place I looked!
Belarc only shows the new trial version, no license. Unfortunately I did not have Belarc when I had the previous install. I only installed it recently, so it only has what is current.
Belarc does not even have the correct Windows Key, so it is not 100% accurate!
I am pretty sure that once the key is entered and activated, it is stored somewhere in the data files, otherwise the program would not know it was activated when it starts.
Good suggestions, but I tried both before posting the question!

Usually the system will be activated automatically if internet connection has been established during the first boot.
So please connect the notebook to internet in order to activate the system.
If it will not work, follow the workaround described in the Toshiba document.

Most new notebooks come with a trial version of Microsoft office. It is not a free program.
You will have to purchase an activation key from the Microsoft store or another vendor to activate Microsoft Office 2013. If you purchased it when you bought your notebook from HP there should be documentation from your order that proves that to be the case. If you have the documentation that proves that to be the case, then contact HP.

Hi, I plan on reinstalling Windows 8. Does anyone know where the Windows product key sticker is located on the T440s? I've looked under the battery compartment but it's not there. Any help would be appreciated.

It's built into the BIOS, so Windows Setup will pick it up automatically.

you can repartion you HD without installing a different version of the operating system that you have if any other versions are used you will need to purchase a new product key
but be noted that resizing the HDD will delete the recovery partition and the one key recovery property will not be working any more

Where is product key for InDesign CS5 located in Mac Osx?

Hello Adobe Community,
So this is the context:
Our only Mac in head office is unable to boot up into OSx, I took it to the Genius bar to troubleshoot and they said to wipe the hard drive and re install OSx which is fine except that I need the InDesign CS5 product key off of it. We don't have the product key written down anywhere or the original software/box it came with and also, I don't know which email address InDesign is registered to because it was installed years before I was hired. But I am able to access the hard drive on the Mac and see all the files by booting off an OSx on my USB key. So my question is: does anyone know the file or where I can find the product key on the hard drive?
I'm hoping someone has run into a similiar problem and has a magical answer!

Do you still have the original proof of purchase (CS5 was released in April 2010)? E.g. check who you purchased the software through as well. Depending on the license type the supplier might even be able to assist with the S/N if they recorded it. Also if the serial number was registered against a company name, support might be able to retrieve this for you based on the domain name, but you'd need to at least have proof of purchase is my guess. (Generally they'd ask for a copy of the installer media as well to show that you have the original installer CDs/DVDs).

Over the years I have had many ISP and email addresses - but now we have finally gone almost fully virtual...
I have a live login and MS ID 4 my SkyDrive account but I only use my MS touch with 8.1, SkyDrive and office 365 for mobility.
And I still like to backup to my own server!!!
What would be good is if I can put all the software licenses and product keys of the software and keep a record of my mac addresses for hardware and even static IP's in a file or a secure location within the MS online store.
That's where MS wants me to get my computing needs from in future and I will always be able to retrieve it in future but what about the $$$$$ I have spent on software, hardware and applications prior to now???
I know u guys love 2 collect data 4 marketing analysis,
4 example I have an old PC that is still running a server from last century - if you knew about it a simple script would allow you to offer upgrades or at least relevant MS products - UNLIKE the rubbish adds I just turn off or tune out

That's crap - This is a clean brand spanker install of Win7 and there was nothing b4 I put the oem drivers from Toshiba back on.
I looked at dozens of support pages and forum blogs and tried for hours to get a copy to download - including incognito and other logins but because my default PC name is also my MS Windows live ID the same error was repeated.
I keep away from the non MS sites for these things and with good reason - there were heaps of similar users with the same issue or very close to it that had downloaded from a supposed MS copy from eValue or digital river etc and the next
thing was total corruption of the OS.
EVENTUALLY I found a LIVE MS chat on a support site in the US and she gave me a link to a slightly older version which will need updating and some reg edit changes but so far, so good.
The point is - what a crock !
I should be able to just keep all my software, drivers, updates, service packs, and versions that I have upgraded in the MS store.
If Microsoft aren't going to support XP or Office 2003 and eventually 2007, vista & Windows7 not far behind??? then that's still no excuse for them to put these restrictions and limits when I OWN my copy of the software!!

What is and where do I find my product key #

I need to log-in to certain sites for my job. A couple have requested that I enter my 25 character product key #. I do not know what this is or where to find it. I'm running off a Firefox program with Windows 7 software on my laptop. Please help.....Thankyou.......

I wouldn't advice to enter the Windows product key on a website, even if they ask for it. 
If someone else uses your product key then MS may invalidate yours. 
I can't imagine that a site needs to know that key. 
Do these sites use specific software? 
Do you trust those sites?

Invalid Product Key!!! Please help me???

I got my macbook less then a month ago and Microsoft office mac (home and student addition) was already installed on it. I can open word etc. from the desktop but as soon as I receive something over email it says i must enter my product key. Whenever I enter it, it says invalid key. I have located it of the back sleeve of the installation cd but still it does not work.

I believe 90% of Toshiba notebooks you can find on the market are delivered with preinstalled operating system. When you start it for the first time you must NOT activate preinstalled OS. At the bottom of the notebook you can find Windows sticker with valid key license.
Maybe you bought notebook without preinstalled OS. In this case you must install own OS and use own license key.
The question is: which notebook model do you have exactly and was your notebook delivered with preinstalled operating system?
For exact answer please offer more relevant information.
