Hi, i need you help me with my KT6 DELTA,few day i detect my cpu is very high temp.....i turn on my pc and enter windows xp, i see temp cpu is run to 67ºc .....i try change cpu halt command in bios, but my pc freeze in load windows xp when i change in bios this option..its command not work :(
i have bios version 5.5
my system is:
CPU 2800+ ATHLON XP TBRED
MSI KT6 DELTA BIOS VERSION 5.5
RAM 512 KINGSTON
3D CARD GEFORCE 5700 XT
GRABADOR LG

Pull out the main power cable
Clear CMOS by moving the JBAT jumper or removing the battery for a minute or two.
When booting again, enter BIOS by pressing Del button.
Set FSB to 166, and set the correct time. Don't do anything else. Save&Exit.
If the problem remains, you have to remove the HSF/cooler and the processor. Clean both with pure alcohol and nail polish remover (garnish?), so no old grease is still there. Add new thermal grease, by putting a small drop on the very chip, of the processor. Before putting them back, look carefully on the thing in which the processor is placed, so you don't put the HSF/cooler on back-wards.

any help appreciated thx80c is the die heat for a amd if you are running at 47 60 you should not have a problem. When you plug a fan in with a sensor wire it is getting its reading from a dioade sensor which sends all temptures to the bios. sensors are correct. But do fail at times too. Corecell however is a hardware utilization. It will find the best setting for your needs and keep the setting at that. When installed correct and works with your processor it will keep your system running great. I do not have 1 single problem with my system it runs better than anyother mb iv owned. and I gone through lots in the past 15 years. estimated life spent on hardware is over the 30 grand mark.

[VIA] Problems with MSI KT6 Delta

AMD XP 2000+
256 MB DDR 400
GeForce FX5200 128 MB DDR
I installed WinXP+SP1 and VIA4in1 v4.55 with NVIDIA 66.93 drivers. The screen fades out and in less than a second the picture shows up again.
Note: What should appear in device manager in section "System devices" after installing VIA4in1 v4.55?
I tried: changing video card, RAM memory, installing WinXP+SP2 (worse results!)
Thanks in advanceThe system reports no errors nor conflicts in Device Manager window. This problem appeared when I did an upgrade from WinXP SP1 to SP2. I use Fedora Core on the same computer with NVIDIA drivers installed and there were no problems. I tried to change the monitor but it was the same. I think I managed to solve the problem by installing WinXP SP1 and an older NVIDIA driver (version 4.5.2.3) and VIA 4in1 pack 4.55. Everything runs smooth for now.

Can you help? Problem converting RWL to RAW in LR 5.6
On a Mac OS X 10.9.5 and shooting RAW, Leica with the RWL format. Lighroom 5.6 didn't recognize the RWL so I downloaded the DNG Converter 8.7.1. Now when I open LR I can see the DNG converter on the left column under my LEICA but the images are still gray without images. Please explain how to use this converter. It's installed and that's how far I've gotten. I need to get these images into Lr ASAP. Thank you so much for your time.
That screen shot shows DNG files in the import dialog NOT RWL so you need to try importing the the RWL files.
The import dialog shows that it is ready to import files as they are checked and they have valid filenames. They do not show as not recognized, just the preview is missing. Have you actually tried to hit the import button and see what happens.
I used to see this sometimes when importing directly from the camera on my canon when the previews did not show but the files would still import. Adobe seems to have fixed direct import from camera now as for me it shows the previews. -

well, i´ve a K7N2 DELTA L and noticed that the processor temp., since it began to work, two days ago, is around 47 ~ 51°C in idle mode.... and when i play any game, just like Call of Duty, or RTCW Enemy Territory, it stays around 56 ~ 62°C... is it okay or too hot... I see it in PC ALERT 4....
Please, help!I get the exact same temperatures, 60'C max load though. I don't see it as a problem since I live in Greece and right now the temperature outside is a good 40'C ! During the winter the temps (cpu, case and outside ) drop a lot (don't know how much since I only built my system about a month ago).
For me, under these circumstances, the best cooling option if I want to further drop my temps, is turn on the airconditioner in my room !

Sound problems with the kt6 delta
Hi all,
I capture a lot of streaming audio from the web. I use cool edit pro to record the audio and then save it as a mp3 file. I have noticed recently that my sound seems to be dropping from time to time. For a while the sound level is great and then drops down very low before coming back up again.
Has anyone had this sort of problem?

I've seen on a Soyo KT600 Dragon board it had heatsinks galore a tiny guy on the nic chip, and also one on the southbridge along with the mosfets, and a few other places. -

Update: my PC USB hub was connected to a USB 3 port, I connected the 30 pin cable directly to my PC, And the restore worked just fine. Restored phone from iCloud backup and seems to be working fine. -

I'm having problems with my onboard LAN on my KT6... seems like after a few hours I can't receive anything on it... Trying a ip /renew... fails... I just reboot and it's good again.
I got Winxp pro SP2 on it everything patch and with latest drivers. I'm also behind a hub wich is plug into a router.

Hi, i'm new here and i need help, i just bought a KT6 Delta LSR (integrated 5.1 sound) and i want to use my good old soundblaster live! 5.1 but when i disable de integrated sound and plug my sound card the system, in the middle of windows operation (windows always boot), all of a suddden crashes or simply the sound freezes and stay in the same sound over and over again and then the whole system hangs and i have to reboot the system.
I have no idea of what could be causing the problem...
When i use the integrated sound it works fine and in stranges cases (for example: when i'm connected to the internet for more than 30 minutes) the system hangs, but with the sound card would not work 15 minutes ok.

The system works fine when i don't use the sound card or the modem, if i put some music it hangs before the first song ends, and with the modem it takes like 30 miutes to freeze, and i have to reboot.

Man am I pissed!!! The saga starts here…….
I decided to upgrade one of my servers, looking on MSI’s page, I see this new KT6 Delta – FISR2 and yea I fell in love, just had to have it…..
I placed my order with an online retailer for basically a complete package. (Details below).
MB: KT6 Delta – FIS2R
CPU: AMD XP 2500+ (1.86 GHz / 512 KB L2 Cache / 333 MHz FSB)
Ram: Kingston 512 MB 333MHz DDR PC2700 DIMM CL 2.5 (KVR333X64C25/512)
Drives: (2) Seagate Barracuda 120GB Serial ATA 7200RPM 8MB Buffer
I paid for FedEx 2 day air, which should have arrived on Thursday. Good thing I checked FedEx Online Tracking Thursday evening since no package showed up. Telephoned FedEx, and the lady read me the “details” on the tracking number posted by the driver from earlier in the day. The driver stated, “He couldn’t find the house number, only Dr. Offices”. Off to the FedEx station I go to pick up my package of new parts, and to chew the ass of the station manager…..
Friday I didn’t have a chance to fiddle with anything, so I put that off until today (Saturday).
Yippie it’s now Saturday morning, I can play with my new hardware! (Hell I even got up early for this)… ;P
I took down my file server, and proceed to remove the MB and the remaining guts so I can install these new parts. Upon opening the KT6 Delta FIS2R box, I noticed there aren’t any Serial ATA power connectors for the drives, so off to the local computer store I go. (The MB did come with two SATA drive cables).
Now back home, I can really get a start on this new box. Installed the MB, CPU / Fan, and Ram….but wait….my AGP video card won’t fit in the AGP socket… They changed the damn socket… Oh well, off to the local computer parts store again for a new video card. I snagged the PNY Technologies Verto GeForce FX 5200 AGP – 128 MB DDR, now heading back to the house…..
Once home, I slam in the new GeForce, and continue to hook up everything else (case led’s, speaker, etc….you know the drill, usual case crap). Whew assembly is complete; I can now power this new hog up!!!!
Flipped the power switch, you could hear the “whirl” of all the fans I have installed, boy am excited!!!! Ummm wait a minute…. Nothing, nodda, zero, zilch, nothing…. Monitor is blank; drives are not turning (usual chit / chat clatter). Houston we have a problem!
Ok maybe I did make a mistake in hooking up this new contraption, but I seriously doubt it. Now before some start to flame, just let me clarify that I have been building machines for 14 years now. I double, triple, and quadrupled checked everything, and still the damn box won’t even give the slightest hint of booting. So I figured I’d look around on the MSI forums for some hints etc. Maybe someone else has had this problem before.
Upon searching I find that most people think it’s a power supply problem when one of these new fangled boards won’t even flicker. Ok just to eliminate that, off the local parts store for a new power supply. I picked up a KWI KingWin 450 Watt jobby-do with 3 fans built in. I wanted an “Antec” but they didn’t stock them…. Oh well….
Back home again now for the 3rd time, I install this new power supply, with all of my fingers crossed, praying this is the problem…. Muddled a little something under my breath, and pushed the power button…….. Same thing, nodda, zilch, zero…..
Ok now something I received must be DOA. First let’s rule out the CPU and RAM. I removed the AMD XP 1700+ and 512 MB PC2100 ram from my workstation machine, and installed them into this new KT6 Delta FIS2R, just to see if it’s any of those two parts. Remember I just want to see if this new setup will just get to the bios.
Smashed the power button and nothing….. I’m getting more pissed with each and every moment now, as you can probably tell. Ok it’s probably not the CPU & Ram, so let’s put them back in my workstation. Ok done, now fire up the workstation….. Nothing!!!
This workstation has a MSI KT7266 Pro2 MB in it, so I figured I’d check the D-Bracket on the back panel….. Four Red LED’s, (processor is not installed properly or DAMAGED). Well crap I know it’s installed properly, so I’m guessing the new KT6 Delta FISR2 MB smoked that CPU when I swapped them out. So now my workstation is down also….. Can you just imaging how pissed I am now?????
Reinstalled the new AMD XP 2500+ CPU and Kingston Memory back into this new piece of crap KT6 Delta FIS2R, powered her up and looked at the D-Bracket LED’s. Now everything is dead!!! Nothing….Even the damn fans won’t even power up, I mean nothing is powered up anymore. Ok let’s try this, to see if the new XP 2500 CPU and RAM is ok.... I installed the XP2500+ and 512 ram into my Workstation to read the D-Bracket LED’s. It shows the same as above (processor not installed properly or damaged).
So now I have to purchase a new processor for my workstation machine, in order to get that back up and running. Then on Monday, I have to contact this online retailer I purchased all this stuff from, to see if they will swap out the MB, CPU, and Ram.
Man I’m pissed!!!! Maybe this is a fluke, DOA board???? I seriously hope MSI’s quality isn’t going down the beaten path….

Yea I tried that also, still nothing….. CPU+Cooler+RAM+VGA I even went down as far as only the CPU+Cooler+Ram, while watching the D-Bracket to see if there was any instance of life in this thing……Nodda…

Yes I made sure the Cooler was installed correctly, and yes re-greased when it was installed. I also unplugged & re-plugged in the power connectors, thinking that “might” do it….. Still nothing… Even tried two other Power Supplies….. Nodda….
Tomorrow (Monday) the retailer and I will have a little telephone chat, in order to get my RMA number. I’m hoping this isn’t going to be a problem in swapping out the components, but until I see some action, I’m not going to hold my breath. As for now, I’m guessing this is going to be a hassle…. Time will tell!

Kt6 Delta Blue Screen of Death
Ok here goes. I have the KT6Delta with raid. When I go to install the operating system I get past where it says insert drivers for the raid. Then after a minute or so of loading stuff I get the Blue Screen of Death from Microsoft. The error is as follows
