PLEASEE HELP SOMEONE!! SKYPE WONT CONNECT!!!!!!

I have done everything. Disable firewall this. reinstall that. install ealier versions. resintall, restart, install without firewall, start skype without firewall, open ports, allow it in firewall everything. Support can't seem to do much, nither can my antivirus support. Someone please help me my skype will not connect. I am forced to use skype for modern windows for now but it wont be available soon. Windows 8.1 x64 Norton360 V21 (Anti-Virus)

k just a couple of days ago i tried to plug my ipod into my computer to charge and put new songs on it but when i plugged it into the usb port nothing happened the ligth on the ipod wouldnt flash and the computer would not say that it was plugged in. someone please help me.

If there is no light on the front of the iPod shuffle when connected to the computer, try in another USB port.
Check for the front status light and battery status light when it is not connected to the computer.
If you have determined that there are no lights then send the iPod shuffle for service at http://depot.info.apple.com/ipodshuffle/

I wondered if anyone could assist me.
I have had no problem connecting my laptop from the day I bought it months ago,last night I turned back on to no connection,nothing I do will get it to connect without the cables.

Help! MIDlet wont Connect to HTTPS backend.

I developed a midlet for accessing a web service within my company and the midlet works perfectly in the emulator but not in the phones. Whenever I try to run the midlet in the phone, it just hangs on any web service requests and doesnt do anything. It doesnt even try to connect to the HTTPS backend.
The midlet is not signed but does require the HTTPS permission in the JAD file so I would think that it should ask the user if its ok to connect but it doesnt do that either. its really getting on my nerves.
Can anyone help with this? Does the jar have to be signed to connect? Is there something Im missing in the midlet ?

Are you catching any errors that your program might be throwing. Even though it works on the emulator make sure that you are catching and printing out any exceptions. It sounds like your program might be throwing an exception but if you're not doing anything with it than it will just appear as in the program is hanging.

Is your I pod Head Phone Hooked to it because that might be the problem.
What you do is hook the i pod to the front or back, i prefer the font and then have the head phone hooked to it then restart it and it should start to charge.

Problem:
iPod < USB > PC
Result ? no reaction from both devices !
I reinstalled EVERYTHING from APPLE on my PC and installed again - same problem
I restored my iPod Touch 2G - same problem
I installed a USB-Manager which shows which devices are connected - iPod isnt in the list.
On a Apple Mac it functioning perfect without any problems !
On a PC it is almost everytime no reaction from both sides ! I tried on different PCs and its from the most PCs the same problem. I gave my iPod onetime to my friend and he had to connect the iPod more than 30-times that the iPod connects to the PC !
On my PC i tried so much and i am freaking out onetime. Its so frustrated !
Links like these from Apple are not the solution because i followed them and I had the same problem.
By the way: Apple Support should be for EVERYONE and shouldnt depend on the S/N from the Device !
Back to the topic ..
I had onetime a older PC which was running with Windows XP SP3.
iPod was able to connect with the PC.. but on my new PC it wont connect !
It makes me mad this problem !

My Mac wont connect to my WiFi. It can see the network but has an "!" over the WiFi signal. My iPhone and Surface connect fine. My Mac was working fine yesterday. Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
Restart the computer.

Found this, which might provide a clue:
I have had problems with 3.1 after installing Snow Leopard, with files created in MS Word - they come up with the text invisible (as though it's white, but changing the text colour doesn't help - by highlighting I can tell that the paragraphs are where they should be).
I upgraded to 3.1.1 but that did not solve the problem...
UPDATE: I found out the problem, it was nothing to do with Open Office, but rather the way Snow Leopard handles fonts. I went into the Font Book and found that a number of common fonts are now listed both in the "User" and "Computer" collections. I deleted the duplicate ones from "User" and now all works perfectly.

What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting this issue? Are you plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC? Have you tried a different USB cable?
What happens if you try to reset the device with it still connected to the PC?

1. I tried connecting it to itunes for a system reset and it didnt work.
2. The phone wont even turn on!!!

If the phone wont turn on it sounds like it needs to be charged. Plug it into a charger and wait about 15 minutes and try turning it on while still charging. Have you tried holding in your home button with the on/off button held in? Hold them both together until the apple logo comes up and then release them. The screen will blink off an on while it is resetting. I still think this is a battery issue. Good luck~
