I am having a question, when are doing an integration between om and pa we are making PLOGI ORGA swith on with X mark right.coreect me if i am wrong
If there are any inconsistency there then we are runing reports right correct me if i am wrong
my question is , what is PLOGI PLOGI do in the integration of OM and PA how we must activate that(what is this purpose). is that the same with X we have to activate or anything else. please help. i am confusing with this integrations

hi goutam,
PLOGI ORGA is an integration switch which you will activate when you want to have an integration between OM and PA. you have to enter X in the PLOGI ORGA field in table T77S0.
RHINTE20 report is to be run for inconsistencies.
RHINTE10 report is to be run to transfer data from OM to PA.
because of this integration, there will be transfer of data from OM tables to PA tables T528T, T513S, and T527X for org unit, position, job.
In the field of PLOGI PLOGI in table T77SO, you have to enter the current plan version, because all your Org Structure will be present in the current plan version.

PLOGI <> EVCRE (Generate event with entry T77INT (action designat.) currently unflagged and we would like to understand the impact of having this flagged. By making it flagged does this generate/activate the workflow chain.

Run RHINTE00 after running BDC and check.I think there will be some problem in the recording.Try recording aagin and process it manually in SHDB.

you check the following switch in T77S0:
PLOGI SPLIT Integration: New IT 0001 record at name change
The description (F1) states:
Integration: New Infotype 0001 Record When Description Is Changed
If the value entered is 'X' and you change the description of positions,
jobs or organizational units, new infotype 0001 records for the
personnel numbers concerned are created on the date of the change(s).
This means that the system will always display the up-to-date
descriptions of named objects, both in Personnel Administration
transactions and in reports on persons.
If the description of an object is changed on a particular date (as of
Release 4.5, this is done in Organizational Management by copying a
record from infotype 1000, "object"), the system first establishes which
personnel numbers are affected by this, and marks them internally. Then,
you should use report RHINTE30 (parameter "Open Personnel Numbers Only")
to create a batch input session. After this session has been processed,
new infotype 0001 records for the person(s) concerned are created.
If the field PLOGI SPLIT is blank, the system only creates new infotype
0001 records if the assignment itself (that is, the number of the
position, job or organizational unit) changes.
Seems to be just what you are looking for. However the downside is that this will increase the data in IT0001.

OM PA Integration (PLOGI SPLIT) is not working for all employees

Hello Experts,
In our 4.7 system, PLOGI SPLIT (Integration: New IT 0001 record at name change) is enabled. But there are certain infotype 0001 records which are not updated when descriptions to positions/org units are changed in OM.
PLOGI ORGA is also activated.
RHINTE30 runs as a batch job regularly.
The PA data should have been updated.
We have checked RHINTE30 program and it checks table HRINTE30. When does table HRINTE30 be filled with the employees to be updated? Do you think that the root of this problem is that table HRINTE30 is not updated?

The object ID in PLOGI is used for what?

Hello, I'm back for some little questions.
We know that every employee has a personnel number. And in table PLOGI there'e a kind of records whose obj type is P(Person). I'm wondering what are the obj IDs of these records used for? Cauze we already have PERNR to stand for a person.
This question also lies in Company Code(Obj Typ - IC), Personal Subarea(Obj Typ - I1) , etc.

The present object is used by the authorization check for PD data.
Field Details:
PLVAR - Plan version This field defines which plan version(s) the user may access.
OTYPE - Object type This field defines which object types the user may access.
INFOTYP - Infotype This field defines, which infotypes, that is, attributes, of an object the users (generally) may access.
SUBTYP - Subtype This field determines which subtypes the user may access for given infotypes.
Relationships are special subtypes for infotype 1001. Consequently, the relationships for which a user should have access authorization can also be limited in this field.

ESS Services Problem - PLOG and P_PERNR

Hi everyone.
We are currently upgrading from ECC 5 to ECC 6 and I am facing an ESS issue and have a few questions.
First, have the Webdynpro services changed between release 5 and 6? Webdynpro service sap.com/pcui_gp~xssutils/XssMenuArea doesn't show up under SU24 when reviewing auth objects PLOG and P_PERNR in ECC 6, our upgraded system. In our current ECC 5 landscape, this service is available and viewable under these auth objects. Is this service available in ECC 6.0?
Second question - how do I manually add this service to be checked/proposed for PLOG and P_PERNR? I receive an error when clicking the change/display auth button in PFCG when workign with our ESS role. The error says
"Authorization default values of transaction B690099F24B95252AC6B70AEBD3C12 for object PLOG inconsistent"
The character string refers to service sap.com/pcui_gp~xssutils/XssMenuArea. How can I add this service to auth objects PLOG and P_PERNR?
Any help would be greatly appreciated and rewarded!

I think as far as my understanding you want to create an object link with Object PLOGI.And you are mentioning Screen for it 500.
I checked the standard Object available in DC10 Transaction. But No PLOGI was found and screen no you have mentioned is for Object POSVID iPPE Variant Screen No 500.
Just let me know what object you have assigned to your Document Type you have created.I think there is some problem in Object Link Configuration in DC10.Send me details of configuration for Your document type in Object link.

PLOGI errors & warnings since firmware upgrade on Brocade Director 48000

I have a SFE25K with several domains. Some domains with Solaris 9 and others with Solaris 10. They have ISP2312 HBAs with firmware from 1.14.09 to 1.14.15, these are connected to a Director 4800 with the following version info:

The firmware on the switch was recently upgraded without rebooting the switch.

In addition, every time we attach a new fiber from the hba to the switch in order to get new disk or tape devices, Solaris does not detect anything until a reconfiguration reboot (reboot -- -r). We tried cfgadm -c configure <dev>, luxadm -e forcelip <dev>, with not success.

Restrict HR Authorization Object PLOG By HR Structural Auth Profile

Via OSS Note 453786, SAP requested customers not to use HR Authorization Object PLOG_CON.
We have a requirement to restrict HR Authorization Object PLOG by HR Structural Authorization Profiles. How are other customers able to accomplish this objective without authorization object PLOG_CON being used?
(Custom solution: ZPLOG_CON/custom FM, or use HRBAS00_STRUAUTH BADI)?

1. the note you mentioned is specific to sap version 46b. is that the version your client is on? just wanted to check.
2. then you have not mentioned anything about the requirement, i mean explicit details.. without which it is very difficult to come to a solution.
3. you look like you are on the right track of thinking though with the z-auth-object/function module/badi thingy...
4. ultimately solution is dependant on the explicit requirements.
the 'con' bit usually refers to context sensitiveness of security when a mixture of regular and structural auths would not meet the security requirements.... so at a high level:
1. design the structural profile with the right combo of eval path and function module(z-fm?)
2. do the right thing by plog by explicitly mentioning levels of suths for all objects and subtypes and infotypes as well.
3. use p_origincon to assign the structural profile
4. a combination of all of the above should do the trick...

for sure PLOG is not a table.
PLOG is the authorization object for Personal Planning, i.e. the object to authrorize users for certain objects, infotypes for objectes, subtypes etc.

You have to create a job and assign the RHINTE report. It has to be done once manually and job will take care every other time.

E-recruiting - lock entry in SM12 table 'plogi'

Hi,
When we create an activity in E-recruiting, on a candidacy or an application, a lock is created for that candidacy or application, in SM12 for table 'PLOGI'. After leaving the application, the lock remains in SM12. We have to delete the lock to 'free' the candidate, or candidacy or application. Or we have to wait until the user leaves the portal session to unlock the entry.
We have had an upgrade of our system to 7.01 Netweaver. Before the upgrade, these entries were always unlocked in SM12, without delay.
Has someone had the same problem? And does anyone know a solution?

Plogi Quali 1 A032 Q

Hi Gurus,
I have activated the integration switch for qualification - Plogi Quali. Now using pa30 transaction i make any changes in IT0024 and save it. when i want to come out of the view for IT0024, the system prompts me a message " Do you want to save the profile first". I have already saved the changes then why system is asking me to save the profile.
Please share the reason for this behaviour

Hi,
Since you have maintained the integration between PA and PD the screen which you get while maintaining qualification infotype is actually a employee profile screen which can be accessed through T-Code PPPM.
So you are actually creating a profile for that employee in which you can maintain many other details such as his potentials, preferences etc. thats why the system is asking you to save the profile.
