PlOr should be released to ECC

Hi Gurus,
I had generated planned orders in APO and i want to release to ECC.Can any one explain me what are the steps where we will see the planned order in ECC from APO. Also it will be great if anyone can explain me in details with steps.

Make sure you have an active integration model for planned orders in ECC . This integration model should defenitely have the material - plant combination for which you are trying to release the planned order .
The next thing is the distribution defenition in APO. Go to transaction /n/sapapo/cp1 and create an entry with publication type inhouse production . Give the appropriate location number and logical system ( the ECC logical system) and save the entry.
Once these two settings are done , whenever you create planned orders in APO, you should see the results in R/3 immediately provided you have configured real time transfer of data from APO to R/3 ( the type of transfer - say real time / change pointer based etc can be set using transaction /n/sapapo/sdp110 based on your business requirement)

I just checked my LabVIEW 8.2.1 installation, and the version of the NVIORef.dll in the Runtime directory is still 8.2.0.131.
BUT: this is not the only content of the Runtime directory, as you can see in the screenshot attached to this post.
What OS are you using? If it is Microsoft Windows 2000, be sure to have at least SP3 installed before running the LabVIEW-RTE Setup.
Regarding the broken Test Panels in MAX - do you have any drivers installed (VISA, DAQmx, ...)? If so, did you reinstall them after running the LabVIEW 8.5 setup?
From my personal experience, I dare recommend you a clean new installation of both LabVIEW versions and the 8.2.1 runtime engine, best performed in the version order (7.1, then the 8.2.1 RTE, than 8.5.
There is a forum entry with a download link to MSI blast and a very good PDF which points you to the Windows Registry keys that you need to delete after deinstallation, which you can find here:

User should not release the PR which is created by him

Hi
We didnu2019t use work flow functionality for PR Release. So same user can create PR and release the same PR in our system. Our requirement is user should not release the PR which is created by him. I would like to put this control in system.
How can I achieve this requirement?

Thanks for your reply. but they need to have authroization for PR release . bec they are eligble to release PR as per delegation of authroity. but they should not release their own PR . they can relase other's PR within their level.

Shipment door should be released at loading end rather shipment completion.

There is a requirment from Business that " Door should be released at Loading end " instead of " shipment end "
is it possible for us to do this through Developement if so how ?
Loading end gets triggered when the last item on the TO is confirmed for the shipment and if we clear the door assignment on the loading end and in the meantime it another truck arrives at gatehouse, there is a possibility that the same door will be assigned to the truck even before the prior truck leaves the door
This is the major fear ,Could this be acived like ..
If so please suggest how this could be done ?

Hi,
If we release the door during the Loading end status, this problem can occur. However inistead of loading end, if the door is released once the shipment status is "Shipment Start", I think it will work fine. At this point of time, anyway the truck also would have left the door and hence the door can be released to be made available for the next truck. There will not be any error in door allocation.

Item level PO Release in ECC 6.0

Hi All,
It is possible to configure item level release strategy for PO ?
I am sure it is not possible till version 4.7 and you please advise whether it is possible with ECC 6.0 .
If so, can you please explain how can this be configured.

As per SAP release procedure are of two types.
With classification ( Item level and Header Level)
Without Classification ( Header Level only)
For PR which is internal document both release types are applicable but in case of PO which is external document release type without classification is allowed

Should Solaris release 2 be used? (6isolaris2.tar)

Solaris forms/reports release 2 contains forms 6.0.8.11.3 and reports 6.0.8.11.2. It is NOT a patch and contains later releases than 6i patch set one. Release 2 is also missing webDB. It also appears that the documentation has not been updated from the first release.
Note: For solaris 7 the documented required patches are definately not up to date.
Should I install release 2 at all? Would it be better to use the first release + patch set one?

Any ideas on this one? We are also thinking of using this. But not very sure whether it is stable enough to put it on production machine.

Workflow for PO release in ECC

Hi All,
can someone provide me the name of TASK invloved in workflow for releasing PO in ECC.
I want to map the release of PO through workflow. and I would also like to know how to find out the different workflow.
It would be great if someone can give the main steps for doing so. I want to create my own workflow template so I need the task details. I am also aware that there would be std. template for this workflow case.

Trying to chase down an app that should've released

On the 1st of december i heard that Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies was releasing that day so when i went to check the app store, its wasnt there (im in New Zealand) So i switched to the US store and it was there. I waited for about a day and found out it released in every country apart from New Zealand. I later found out that it did release but got taken off about an hour after it released. I then chased down Activision about this and they said they didnt know why it is not on the app store. (very usefull!!!) They gave me links to itunes for the app and the not availible message showed up on every link. After that they said to contact apple but when i go to the itunes support it says to contact the developers. so i have no idea what to do now and i need help from someone

I think its because of the illegal copyright law the tried to stop illegal downloading but failed and wont sell it in new Zealand as everyone could of got it for free instead of paying for the app like jailbreaking an iPod/iPhone/iPad or something like that guy I hope this is kind of helpful

Tabulate the main difference in the SAP 4.6C Release and ECC 6.0

we all are using both the system and know that some additional functionality has been added to the newer versions of SAP.
Exactly we are sure to differentiate between step one version of SAP.
To give the clear feedback to our client who is already using 4.6C version and want to upgrade it with ECC 6.0.
Can some one give me the brief change in the functionality / changes happen in both the versions?

Query should jump to ECC tcode

Hi all,
I have created the query and settings were done in RSBBS , in settings I have given ECC system name and also assigned parameters .According to the settings the BI query should be jumped to ECC tcode.After executing the query when I right click it taking me to the portal and displaying the error message transaction is not correct and message no is :00031.

- Target System = Source System, in list of systems I select the correct R3 development environment.
- Report = QA33

In Query Designer:
0Plant and 0Material are part of selection screen.
When do I try the jump:
I have tried the jump when the report is displayed - this did not work.
I have tried removing other fields from report, only display Plant, Material, Batch and 1 KFig. - this did not work
Note:The query has 3 default filters on Navigational attributes which filter some row out as soon as the report is displayed.
The query also has 1 Exception, to add colour on 1 KFig.

Problem During Installation of ECC 6 on Windows 2003

Here I am facing problem during Import ABAP Phase.
It is throwing Error like that::
CJS-30022 Program 'Migration Moitor' exists with return code 103.
After completeing 9 stages, it's getting problem in Import packages and installation get stucked.
My Server is like that:
OS: Windows Server 2003
Hardware: HP Itanium IA64
Database: Oracle 10.2g
SAP Release : 2004s ECC 6
I have configured Java with j2sdk 1.4.2_12:
JRE 1.5 is not available for IA64 .
I reconfigured the parameter "shared_pool_size" (to 400MB)in init<sid>.ora at \oracle\<sid>\database.
Also adjusted another parameter which is "shared_pool_reserved_size" i.e. 10% of the shared_pool_size.
What to do now.
Please send me feed backs.

run 'ls -lrta' in /tmp/sapinst_instdir/.... (whatever the lowest path is there, where all the log files are). You should see something like sap<something>.tsk and sap<something>.log. Look at the most recently updated sap<something>.log file for the specific error. One problem I've seen is that if you configure the advanced oracle config to turn off AUTOEXTEND on the tablespaces, the abap load will bomb because it runs out of space. Also, make sure your SYSTEM tablespace has at least 500M.
Posting the relevant contents of the log with the detailed error description would help us provide a better answer as well.

The business scenario is Bidding after supplier self registration.
The steps:
Prospects will register themselves on ROS.
Strat Purchaser will accept and transfer them on EBP.
While creation of Bid Invitation these bidders will be chosen and the BI will be publisehd.
All of these (say 5 ) bidders will submit the Bid.
Out of these 5 bids the strat purchaser will accept only 1.
and create a purchase order.
Now as per our business scenario the PO should be created in ECC.
and unless this newly registered bidder is in ECC the PO will not be created.
Hence we need to transfer this bidder/vendor to ECC.
Help.sap talks about registration on ERP but that will be for all prospects which we don't want.
Anybody has mapped this business scenario?
Or any clues?

I have been facing the same situation and developed a process depending on scenario:
For creating a vendor master record in ECC, it depends the used SRM release
(for the technical capability - with SRM 5.0 an automatic creation from SRM into
ECC is possible) as well on the global master data management process the
company uses:
Usually all master data are created centrally in ECC (also from historic reasons
as well due to central organization, which is best practice as well), why the
number range in ECC is set on internal. Supplier registered in ROS
get a SRM number, which then gets (starting with SRM 5.0) get downloaded into
ECC and create a new vendor record (using the SRM vendor number). In that
case, the number range needs to be manipulated and mapped to the central
number range. In the (technical best) case, the ECC number range for vendor
creation set to external - this is not usable in huge as well global organizations.
Based on my experiance with companies already using SAP, ROS makes the
best sense for first qualification of suppliers and getting them involved in sourcing
as potential suppiers. In the moment, suppliers reach this stage, the vendor
master generation process takes places, technical resulting with a replication of
vendor record via BBPGETVD into SRM.

Shopping cart delivery address not transferred to ECC PR

Hi Forum,
We recently upgraded from SRM 701 to 713 and to ECC EHP6. After upgrade the SC Delivery address is not getting transferred to back end PR instead the PR shows Plant address as delivery address. As per this wiki article

the standard behavior is that SRM Delivery address should be transferred to PR but to our OSS SAP replied that standard behavior is opposite i.e.
PR Takes Plant address as delivery address as default.
Response from SAP:
Please see that the standard fields of EMLIF and LBLKZ are not
available in BAPI structures. This is the standard functionality of
BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE.
If you are using a release newer than Release 4.7 , which I believe
you are , you can use BAPI_PR_CREATE instead. However , this is not
possible using BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE.
I am sorry that I do not have a better answer for you at this time but
the behavior that you are experiencing is standard SAP system design.
Q1. What is the standard behavior - SC Delivery address is transferred to PR or Plant address is used in PR?
Q2. What are the changes required to transfer SC Delivery address to back end PR?

Hello Anubhav,
Its unfortunate that SAP has not tested the transfer of Delivery Address from Shopping cart to ECC Requisition.
SRM uses BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE which is deprecated in the newer releases of ECC. This is why the Delivery address is no longer transferred to ECC.
Check this note:2132886 - BAPI_REQUISITION_CREATE - Delivery address is not updated
Interestingly I found another note in SRM area which asks customers to themselves implement a call to BAPI_PR_CREATE to fix such issues.

We have an upcoming Go Live with SRM 7.13/ECC 6.17 and I just noticed that Delivery address from Cart is not transferred to ECC Requisition.
I have to rush an urgent change due to this.
I dont know what else data is not being transferred without detailed testing.

Cats release working time service

Dear Experts
We are using CATS in ESS. We are creating the cats time entry and releasing it from release working time service. The scenario is working fine in dev portal. But in Quality portal the once all the timesheets have been released if we click on the release working time link, it shows service is locked.
We have checked sm12, object locking in portal, session management but everything is fine. We also checked the services in ECC, it also seems fine.
Please help!

can you check this test for me first open record working time, record time and log off. Does it release the lock from SM12? Next test, check in CAT2. Dos it release the locks? Main issue is session should be released ? can you confirm above
