Pls Help. i really screwed myself
I just accidentally erased one of my internal drives using disk utility Mac OS Extended (Journaled) "used the default securty option". Is there a way to recover this drive? Thanks to anyone who responds.
Sorry but probably not. To have any hope of recovering your tracks, though, you need to immediately stop using your system and then go out and get a copy of a recovery tool such as Data Rescue (Prosoft Engineering), or File Salvage (SubRosaSoft). The chances generally aren't really good even so, particularly with Mac OS X which reuses space much differently than did earlier versions of Mac OS, but short of sending your drive to a data recovery service (expensive and by no means guaranteed), such utilities are your only hope.
Note that the more you use your system before you attempt recovery, the more likely it is that the system will overwrite the sections of the drive where the data you want to recover is stored, rendering it unrecoverable by any means. You should therefore stop using the system completely until you get and try to use one of the file recovery tools.

(ive generated 2 users in the above table tp test)
in dreameavers server behaviors the recordset generated by
the login server behavior simply says Log In User
obviously i need a session variable somewhere to get the
intUserId....
also a relationship needs to be generated in the sql
statement to connect the intAccessLevel but i think i can manage
that (i think..)

Hi! I have an iPhone 4s and when I FaceTime the sound is really low. It´s really annoying. When I do phone calls it works, and on my MacBook Pro it works much better on FaceTime than on my phone. Can someone pls help to so solute this? Really need help! Thanks

Try turning down the speak volume (System Preferences->Sound->Output->Output Volume) or the microphone gain (System Preferences->Sound->Input->Input Volume). Do this on both sides of the call. -

I would try running with the server compiler (add the option '-server' to your command line) to see if this is due to something in the client compiler. Aside from that, look at the Java SE 6 troubleshooting guide, it has a number of tips for getting more information:

Hi, if you bought the product brand new and was provided to you defective, you must be provided with a brand new replacement. Furthermore, if anyone provides refurbished phones, it must clearly state this either on the box or in the paperwork for that phone.

Netscape Mail Really Screwed Up NOW (Saturday 8.26.06) HELP
Netscape has really screwed up now. Since I have both a .mac account, and set up four netscape email accounts, I jump back and forth to both.
As of this weekend, netscape has aparently dropped or trashed hundreds of thousands of their email accounts, while switching over to their new AOL email system.
They only make their email accounts login work for Mac OS 10.3.9 users, running the newer Safari. For all users of Apple OS 10.2+ it seems they have dropped those accounts completely.
I alone, have over three years of emails and linked accounts to eBay and PayPal through netscape. They never even sent out email notices to account users of this switch over.
Is anyone using OS 10.2.8, having netscape email accounts, able to find a way to acces their netscape email?
Looks like I will have to start all over again, possibly set up multiple .mac email accounts. Atleast this way, I will always have control over my email through Apple.
To netscape if your reading this: "I was an avid user of netscape home page and email until this weekend .... now my credo is DIE NETSCAPE/AOL ... can you say CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT?!"It has been known for some time that Netscape Mail would be upgraded. It is now AIM Mail. Saved emails will have a life of 27 days. If you need them, you should print them as hard copies. I don't think the class action lawsuit will work since the Terms of Use have always stated that any accounts can be terminated without notice. I'd also advise upgrading the Mac OS since future Apple features might require more recent software. Examples are QuickTime 7.1.2 and video capability in iTunes 6.0.5.

Hello people, This is my first post and after much searching i am praying someone can help..!
I have a mac g5 dual, and i am having a really annoying problem, my mac keyboard is not working, sometimes some of the keys work but others dont, or none of the keys work, or when i press a button it types a different letter or types 2 or 3 at once!!
Therefore i can not get past the login screen as the keys needed for thre password do not work!! not even when i try to log into admin!!
I have purchased a new keyboard today, (wireless apple) but i can not get that to work as i need to pair it to the mac before it will work but i cant pair without getting past the login screen!!!
typical that this should happen on my only couple of days off too!!

Unknown problem with JSP, JavaScript - Pls help

I am facing a strange problem. Explained it below. Kindly help me as it is really affecting my work. Thanks in advance.
I am working on building a web application using jsp, servlet, ejb. the IDE used is WSAD 5.1.2.
I have the below :
1 JSP - Input page - for user input entry
2. Java script1 - For all client side validations
Java script2 - For handling the data submission to servlet (as selected by user)
Javascript3 - Header & Menu Bar
3 Servlet - This actually retrieves the values from the hidden parameters, sets them in session and redirects the control back to the jsp.
Logic for one small iteration : Two drop downs are there. On selecting the first drop down the second drop down should be populated and the first drop down should display the user selected value.
1. When the user selects the first drop down onchange() event gets fired which calls a method in the javascript.
2. In the javascript I set the value of a hidden form field to the selected combo index and submit the form to the servlet
3. In the servlet, I retrieve the hidden request parameter (Index),
set the index in session. Do my business logic based on the value of the index. Set the collection (to be displayed) in second drop down in session.
4. Send the response back to the JSP.
5. In the JSP, we have a method which is called during the onload() event of the body
6. This method sets the user selected values in appropriate controls(by taking from session)
Problem faced: I have a javascript which creates the menu bar for my application and this i've included it in my jsp. I dont know whats wrong with this javascript, when it is commented out the page works perfectly fine. Both the user selected value and the collection are loaded exactly as expected. But when it is included the collection is loaded in the second drop down but the selected index of the first drop down is not set - the drop down gets reset to the default value.
Also on body load of my jsp, I call a javascript method which sets the current date in one text field of my form. Even this is not working fine when I include this javascript. I don't see any script error in this javascript in my browser though. Strange but guess something basic :(
I'm sure there is nothing to do with session. I've tried printing the entire flow. The Servlet sets the values correctly in session and they are also correctly available in the JSP page. The JSP also gets loaded with the user selected values but something happens on page load which clears the values to default.
Am also confused in what way javascript is related to this, coz when I remove it things are working fine.
Am really helpless here pls do the needful. any help is appreciated.

I can't import video (.mp4 & .mov) to itunes 10.5.2.11 (can't both drag & down and add file to library).
I searched many ways to solve in google with myself , but still not work
Pls help -.-"MOV is a container format which may contain all kinds of codec, while iTunes only import MOV whose video codec is DV, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, or AIC.
Even if the MOV meet the above requirement and supported and playable in iTunes, it will still fail to sync to iPod/iPad/iPhone/Apple TV if the MOV video does not fit the specification like resolution, bit rate, aspect ratio, size, and audio codec of the iPod/iPad/iPhone/Apple TV.
In order to successfully import MOV to iTunes as well as sync MOV to Apple TV, iPod, iPhone, iPad, we have better convert the MOV video to a more compatible video format.

How can i detect if my PC is not on Network..... Urgent Pls Help Soon !!!!!
Hello Everyone,
We all know whenever we try to connect to a PC which is not on network, we get UnKnownHostException etc..... by which we can detect that the corresponding PC is not an network(intranet/internet)
But when i send a msg from my PC to my PC, it works fine even if the network is down. I hv provided my PC's IP address instead of using localhost or 127.0.0.1 which reduces the possibility that the msg will not be traversed thru the network.
Any IDEA how this works.
Is There any possible way by which i can detect that my PC is not on network or the PC to which i'm trying to connect is not on network .......
Pls help me out, its really urgent as to be implemented in my Project

I have developed a Messeging Service for the eCRM Apllication my company is developing and we r in the final stage of debugging.
Now whenever a user sends a msg to a PC which is not on network, the messaging service automatically sends an Offline mssg to that PC. But know i want ot distinguish wheather the PC to which i'm sending the msg is not on network or am I not on network based on this i need to perform diff. actions, hence i wanted to know that how can i detect .......

Hi. I would really appreciate if someone could help me find a way to solve my problem. I bought a second hand iphone4 from my friend's friend. I fully trust my friend coz she said this iphone is working but it was handed to her lowbat so i get home i recharge it immediately and after charging it, i open and it shows to select language and country and i did select. After this it shows on the screen "Connect to itunes". Then i plug it in to my laptop and connect to itunes. It shows in my itunes " There is a problem with your iphone". So,is there any other way to solve this problem.What is the problem really? Do you not use dns for network naming? Maybe you have to manage the hosts file on every client then. -
