PLS help..it's regarding some books

I'm a java trainee.Can anybody suggest me the best books available on java swing,java servlet.

I've got "Core Java 2: Volume I - Fundamentals" and I think it's a good book. They go into quite a bit of detail about swing. I've also got "Java 2: The Complete Reference," and I think it's equally good as a beginner's book, but they barely touch on swing.
For servlets, O'Reilly's "Java Servlet Programming" (I think that's the name of it) is good. I've got O'Reilly's "Java in a Nutshell" book, which is a fairly good beginner's book, though it emphasizes the class library more than the fundamentals. I've also got their "Java and JDBC" book, which is good if you're going in the database direction.

Query needed urgently.Pls help in this regard

1.I need to display the details of employee no,name,image if at all an employee is having a photo attached with his profile and their count.
I need to display the count and the same details for the employees having no photo too.
I did with a query also.But I need some better Query for performance.I used per_images,per_all_people_f(per_people_f) for the above.Could u suggest me any query relating to this.And moreover,can u suggest any settings need to be done in rdf for the same image to display.
2.I need to display the approved time sheets between 3 months period.But I used HXC_Timecard_Summary .But in that table thr is no date duration such as time period column.Its having only start time and stop time which will count only for one day and not for a particular duration.SO,could you suggest me the solution for the same.

You couldn't have guarenteed that you won't get your questions answered any better than you have:
1. Use of the word "Urgent" in your title. To us, your problems aren't any more urgent than anyone else's problems on the forum, and a great deal less urgent than our own problems are!
2. You have provided zero information on your tables, data, etc in terms of what you're working with and what you want it to look like. You expect us to know your table and data structures in depth ... well, see my initial comment re. my crystal balls.
3. You say you've come up with a solution for your first point, but haven't provided it, nor do you appear to have done any searching or anything else that makes me think that you're not expecting us to do your work for you.
I suggest you edit your title to remove the word "urgent" and provide much more detail (table create statements, insert statements, etc) than you have.

But i dont have vast hr knowledge. i know only the creation of infotypes and preparing reports with few infotypes. Now why i posted this question is, Can we prepare hr module for abap-hr job trails individually without training. Regarding abap-hr I have sufficient material(including seimens) with me. Encountered : A system error has occurred while locking, pls help

pls help..
while executing some of our remote function module we encountered some locking error.. the message returned by SAP is :
A system error has occurred while locking
from message class : M3 #021
the remote function module is running bapi_goodsmvt_create in background..
the question is.. why this error occured and how to solve it ? and what is the root cause.. ?
because the error is only happened once (until now) we cannot simulate to get the error again.. so it is hard to find out the root cause..

Hi,
I am also having the same problem. I am running the BAPI_MATPHYSINV_CHANGECOUNT' to count the Articles.
When I print the error on screen, some the data shown as counted. Some are not changed and some with the following error.
System error while locking the data
Furthermore I went to the BASIS and saw that when we run this particular program its showing the locks on MARC and several tables with the same System ID from which we run the program
Can anyone come up ? Its getting too hard to resolve.

Pls Help me to Create an Updatable report region

hi,
can u pls help in creating an updatable report region. as of now i have 2 regions in a page. 1st region is HTML type where we can select Year,Month&Account parameters and do submit.
2nd region an updatable report region where the report generates according to the SQL query which includes conditions selected as parameters in where clause. even i have the processes to update the data in this report.
now the problem is i am able to put only one submit button which is functioning for both parameter selection and as well as updating the data in report fields. so the functionality of the report became a bit tricky which is not user friendly to the client.
whats happening is: after logging in&select the parameters month=Jan,year=2007,account=ALL
-> If you would like to update the data for Jan’07, you can enter the value in the field and click on ‘Update’ button
-> After that, if you would like to see the data for Feb’07, as of now you are not able to select the month from drop down list directly from this page and say ‘Update’. You need to log-out and log-in again and select ‘Feb’ for seeing Feb’07 data.
-> Rather if you directly select the ‘Feb’ month and say ‘Update’ in the same page, it is updating by the New value you entered for ‘Jan’ ( the same thing happens for all the months what ever you select and click on ‘Update’ in the same page without log-out and log-in)
-> So, the basic thing you have to do while you update the data is, you need to log-out & log-in for seeing or updating different month’s data after making changes to the present month and click on ‘Update’. You can not see correct data if you select the month directly after making changes to the present month’s data. This will cause automatic updating in the selected month.

actually i have 2 page processes.
1 is On Submit-Before Computations and Validations;is to populate
2 is On Submit-After Computations and Validations;is to update
both r PL/SQL anonymous blocks.the problem is i couldn't find any triggers like things in process point drop down list.for eg;'when button pressed' or 'when LOV changed' or 'when list changed'(like in forms developer)
and also i couldn't allocate any processes or functions to button properties in APEX.
can u pls help in this regard.

Depending on which email client software you use
the files should be in 'your home folder' library, esp.
if you use Mail application.... ~/Library/Mail
Since you don't specify what mail application,
that would most be associated with the file.
I notice there are some items to the right of your post
where it says "more like this' so that may be worth a
look to see if similar issues were answered. Also, the
Help viewer in your system is a searchable database.
Seems that google also brings up fair information, too.
Do you have a complete bootable clone of your entire
Mac system on an externally enclosed hard disk drive?

Query-Automatic assignment of Record type to Book of Business-Pls help me

I have a query about Automatic assignment of record in Book of Business.
Using 5 record types & 50 regions as a part of Book of Business. You can say 50 sub-books.
I want to assign these 5 record type to particular Book when to create & modify.
Eg. When I create new account it should be automatically assigned to Book 1 & later I modify this account for reassignment to new user then it should be automatically added to the new user’s book.
I need to create workflow for this as Assign to book criteria for both when new record saved & when modified record saved.
I have tried this & its working; however problem is with the creation of two many workflows.
50 region (Books) x 5 record types * 2 - Create/modify flow = 500 workflows for one country!
If I am right then I can assign 1 record type with action as create or modify in 1 book only.
How to reduce these no. of workflows?
Pls help me out in this regard.

I am sorry to tell you that there is no quick answer to this but i will say that maybe you need to rethink your book structure and their requirements here.
I have 4 types and 7 regions so you need to create books to allocate all these on create and also modify. Customers have raised concerns with this to Oracle and they are looking into it but they are along way from completing this. Sorry to spoil your day but i would strongly ask you to consider your books structure before you complete this.
Otherwise if you are using webservices you could assisgn the book when the record is piped into the CRM and then you only need to complete the modify workflows.

it has been a while since we have last spoke, I would like to let you know, I am still working on getting used to the switch from windows to a Mac/Apple system. I do have a new question for you, I did purchase In Design CS5.5 through journeyed.com through Cuyahoga Community College of which I attend as a student, is there a way to purchase an online book through iTunes to learn that as well? Also, you know me, the struggling student, I would also, when and if the book can be purchased through the iTunes, would need to know if you do know of a much easier book for struggling students like myself and at a reasonable price as well for the In Design CS5.5 program. Our campus bookstore had closed early, and, so did the colleges library and our local library here where I do live, so, I cannot go to either place to purchase a book or to take out a book, plus cash funds are low at this moment as well but, I do have money left on the iTunes account to use, if it can be used. So, can it be used, the iTunes money, towards finding a low priced online book? I am in great need of assistance as I have a project due for my one course for this Tuesday, September 4, 2012.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
The screen you're seeing on your iPhone indicates it is in recovery mode. Now since the device is not appearing in iTunes on your PC, first follow the steps in this article:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows

After following those steps, you should be able to restore your iPhone.
