Pls help, my blackberry 9810 backlight is always on
Pls my blackberry backlight is always on. I have checked it in my options profile and its on already. The way the screen light/backlight is always on is really getting me annoyed. Pls help

Have you done a Battery Pull? Please do so if not as it fixes some of the phone's glitches.

If a second-hand iOS device has been 'Activation locked' then only the previous owner can unlock it, either by providing you with the account ID and password, or by removing it from his list of devices (as he should have done before selling it) - please see http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4515
If you are unable to contact him to do this then I'm afraid you will not be able to use the device - there is no other way of unlocking it at all. Apple cannot unlock it for you.
You should if possible return it to wherever you bought it and ask for a refund as in this event the device is completely useless. -

Well guys I just bought a new Blackberry 9810 on April 23rd 2012 from Jalandhar(Punjab) and on the very first date i faced a problem. It was so that I couldnt hear the call coming and if at all my attention was towrds my phone and i happened to picked it I couldnt hear the caller's voice and neither could he hear mine. I took out my battery and restarted the phone to rectify it. It happened about three to four days the very first day. Next morning I went to vendor, who told me to get the software updated from service centre. I did as told, went to service centre and got the software uploaded the very second day of my purchase.For nearly three four days everything was fine with my handset. As i had to travel out of station for wedding in family, i left my city Jalandhar on 4th May 2012. It was on 5th May 2012 i faced the same problem and during my ten days stay there I was completely bugged up as everyday I had to go through the same turmoil about 7 to 8 times a day. I was being mocked by my frens and relatives that " you have wasted Rs. 27000" on this wrong purchase. I was really taken a back as i m freelance writer, so i lost much of my business due to my phone being swithced off. I spoke to the vendor from Delhi he told me you come back i ill speak to service centre authority and will get ur handset changed. When I was back I visited the service centre and made him speak to my vendor too. He returned my battery and back cover of handset so i understood they wont change the handet. I insisted them to replace it but all they could say the company will replace it if need be. So i kept quiet, i got my handset back after three weeks from the service centre with a hope that it will be well in shape, but to my dismay the very next day i faced the problem again. In all this chaos i noticed that it is only when i put the memory card i face this problem so i formated my card and tried again but problem persisted than i took memory card out from my phone and it worked well for a week's time. After which i bought a new memory card thinking that my last memory card might have been infected with virus but the problem started agin. I again went to vendor he told me to go to service centre and tell the person to change the handset or IME number, I did the same. But again when I got my handet back neither was it replaced nor the IME number was changed and on top of it the problem still persited and also its hanging a lot. I am in an imbroglio and literally repenting over this purchase. Also i have to listen to constant rebuking of my parents. I seriously want to get it replaced. Can anyone tell me how?Well first off you should demand that the vendor who sold it to you stand up and do what is right and exchange the unit for a new working one!

Hi, i forgot my macbook pro(snow leopard) password and i tried to reset it through single user mode, but whenever i type, everything comes out in CAPs instead of lower case. Each time i press the minus(-), it always comes out as an underscore(_).Pls help.
Well, you can try easing the shift key up with something thin but flexible (credit card sort of thing) but if the contacts below are stuck you may need to get it seen to by an authorised repairer.
If you can borrow a keyboard (a PC one will probably work as long as the password is alpha-numeric with no special characters) you can at least get in to backup your HD before going for repair. -

If your iPad screen is frozen with that message on it, try rebooting your iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

When you get the message to contact iTunes support, that is what you have to do. There is nobody here that can help you, as it must be some issue with your account or credit card that only an Apple employee can help you with.

Safari always unresponsive? pls help!
My Safari and Mac Pro had always been working well, but recently the Safari usually stopped to respond after using for some minutes (even it worked efficiently for the first some minutes!) and it made the whole system unresponsive, then the system mentioned me to press the power button to start a again. But same problem happened each time I was using Safari, so I had to force my computer to restart for many times.
Trying to fix the problem, I had updated my software, reset the safari, and emptied the Cache, but none did help. I had not installed any softwares or application these months. I can not understand the problem now, pls help!!!!!Hi and welcome...
You are running an outdated version of Safari 5.0.2 and Snow Leopard 10.6.4.
Click the Apple () menu (top left in your screen) then click: Software Update ...
One the updates are installed, restart your Mac. Try Safari.
Facebook definitely requires the latest version of Safari.

Hi, I can't access my iTunes store even though I had updated to the latest version of the iOS. It always shows "the request could not be processed" when I tried to access the iTunes store. This has been going on for the past 3 days already. Pls help..

This is a copy of ONEof the keys in the registry I changed as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so I downloaded the software and installed again.

It mostly depends on the camera. Some cameras have a Transfer Mode, which does not attempt to charge while transferring pictures. does yours have such a setting?
Alternatively you can try to plug a powered USB hub between the camera and the USB connector so the power is provided by the HUB rather than the iPad.
Other than that, yes the Memory card reader may be a better option assuming your Camera uses Secure Digital (SD) type memory cards. -

I think you need to reset those questions. You'll need to call the tech support for your country, ask to be connected to the Account Security Team and then ask if they can reset the questions for you.

Has the unit EVER been jailbroke? Has it EVER been dropped? Did it EVER get excessively wet? Did you EVER load a pirated developer's version of the IOS?
If "No" to all the above, first try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow the on-screen directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore and you have IOS-6 or lower, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. Also, if you have IOS-7, read this. -

Sadly Mac OS X 10.9 did indeed remove sync services. You can either wait for http://www.markspace.com/ to improve their software to support it on its own, contacting them asking they do so, or if your machine is older than Mavericks boot off of the original operating system it came with when you need to sync data from contacts and calendars, or get an iCloud compatible device for syncing.
