Pls Help! My content does not display!!

The customised content i have cretaed does not display.
I created an URL iview. I created a page and added the iview to the pager. I then cretaed a role, within the role editor i created a folder(Test) and then added the page to the role. I assigned myself the role.
Opened up a new session, Test does not exists in the navigation bar.
How do i get it to display ?

You must make either the role, or the folder that you've created inside of it, an entry point.
When you are looking at your role in the editor (where you add pages, iviews etc to your role) you will see on the right hand side of the page some propeties. Select 'Show All' and then change 'Entry Point = No' to 'Entry Point = Yes'. Or you can select your folder, press the 'Properties' button, now the properties on the right hand side are for the folder inside the role, not the role. Here you can make the folder the entry point if you like.
Everything inside an entry point is visible, whether or not it's own 'Entry Point' property is selected as 'Yes'. This means that if you make the role and 'Entry Point' everything that you add to the role will be visible.

Content does not display when page first opened

Hi All;
I have a contenta are/region which I have divided into multiple tabbed areas. I have two main tabs that divide the content into two major topics. Within each of these main areas I have added 4 to five tabs. One set for example holds a calendar, another tab a news release area and a third a content area for holding multiple folders of a department's documentation. The problem I am encountering is that when I first bring up the page all I see are the tabs and no matter what tab area is exposed the content within it is not displayed. For example, I start with the Calendar tab active (the calendar does not display). I then click on to say the document area, which displays all of its content's correctly. When I return to the calendar tab the calendar is displayed. My question... how can I ensure that the calendar (or any other tabbed area's content is displayed when the user first brings up the page?
PS. This is a hot topic since I will be demoing my pages to my managers next week in an effort to convince them that Oracle Portal is the way to go.

Look at the source on that page. There is virtually no styling on it....

There is nothing telling the page which fonts to use, or which colors to use. Are you sure you have uploaded the correct page?

Related Content does not display on the name change page

Hi all,
Currently, i am doing some research for the related content. I find that delivery configuration has been on the Name Change component (self service). Then I do the security configuration but the related content option does not display on the name change component. No idea which step next i should take.
Please advise.
Any reference or docs is also welcomed.

What do you mean by my two nodes are all local.
Are you trying to use Related Content within one environment?
Make sure you have an authentication domain set on your webprofile and that your hosts file reflects this.
Make sure there is no proxy or firewall in the way.
Make sure Integration Broker is setup correctly.
Try pinging your server including the authentication domain.
Try looking for log files in the application server and errorLog.html in the Webserv folder.

Help! Bridge does not display Indesign Documents as spread thumbnails anymore.

Adobe please fix this issue. Adobe Bridge CC and (also CS6) does not display Indesign documents as spreads like it always used to. It displays a preview of the left hand page only not both left and right. This is very frustrating as this was a very useful feature from day one. Why is it not there and what can you do to get it reinstated asap.

Can you attach some [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screenshot screenshots] for comparison to show what you mean?
Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).

HP VirtualRooms seem to connect but the room content does not display.

When initially connecting to the HP Virtual Rooms system: http://rooms.hp.com, all looks well and I can enter a conference/meeting key and after hitting the 'go' button and I am greeted with a 'Thank you for joining us message'... but there is no actual connection to the HP virtual room conference and the room display (java based) never appears. The system just sits there waiting for something that will never appear....
I've checked this logging into the same conference using FF 3.6, which works just fine btw, and the room appears normal and expected... but I do not see my other login via the FF 4.ob7 connection (you would see both if they were both actually connected)--the 4.0b7 window says its connected but there is no conference display and no activity.
This seems to be a plugin problem on the HP side--IMHO--but I reckon you have more clout with HP than I might have. Any chance you can get them to fix this so I don't have to run two browsers to attend their meetings?

Website content does not display in browser

On the BlackBerry 9630 web browser users are no longer able to view content in our internal website. After browsing to the website they only get the background and a small image along the top then no more content displays. If I view the html source all the content exists, it just doesn't show. This site was working without a problem a few weeks ago and the website hasn't changed in months.
I've tried clearing the cache, tried it on a new install, multiple users. Deployed the website to a test web server with similar settings. Always the same thing. Note that if I load this up using the smartphone simulator I have no problems.
This website uses window integrated authentication, master pages, and Microsoft's Ajax.
If I make a page that has content outside of an ajax updated area the content outside of the ajax panel but the content inside the panel or in the Telerik "ajaxified" content is invisible.
I need this to work, where can I go from here?
Edit: Now it's different, maybe tested wrong. No content shows up on my test page if I add an ajaxpanel to part of it but everything exists if I view source. Same behavior in simulator but works fine in standard browsers. Main website still works fine in simulator though.

There are two tiny errors in the html (stray </p> and </a> tags) but they shouldn't break it.
Are you sure it isn't a caching issue?
In IE9, hit F12 then Ctrl + R then Yes and refresh the page.

Hi, I am writing simple JSP pages and running it on
Tomcat.
I create a jsp file that has frame in it
(call this chat_entry_frame.jsp)
In the frame I call other 2 jsp pages.
(which is chat_entry.jsp and chat_control.jsp)
When I test both chat_entry.jsp and chat_control.jsp
separately, they both fine.
But when I try to call chat_entry_frame.jsp, it did not
show anything.
I have not create web.xml file inside my application...
I just call both jsp files by specifing their path (relative
path). All jsp files I put in the same directory.
So, I wonder what is wrong?

Your problem is not with TomCat, When you specify a frameset, the HTML code cannot have the body tag, just remove it from your chat_entry_frame.jsp and it has to work.

Website body content does not display in IE9

I am designing a new website (http://jarrettrifles.com/Jarrett2012-website/index.html) using Dreamweaver CS6 with Ajatx Pure CSS menus. It displays fine in every browser (MAC or PC) except IE9 & IE10. It displays just fine in IE8, and it was displaying in IE9 until just yesterday.
Does anyone have a fix for this or can advise what code might be added to fix the problem.

Is this iPhoto on your Mac? Are you referring to the photos that were in your iPhoto LIbrary prior to the upgrade to iPhoto 11? If so then apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.
If that's not what you're referring to then you should describe what is happening in more detail. Remember we can't see your Mac or your iPhone so need detailed and accurate descriptions of what you're experiencing.
Also we need infomartion like do you have an iCloud account and are you logged into it on all of your devices, iPhoto and Mac? do you have Photo Stream enabled on both.

HELP! Ovi suite does not display Photos only thumb...

Hi, please help. Ovi Suite does not display Photos saved in my computer. Just getting Default grey image for everything on the thumbnails. OS XP home (Service ack 3). Run the repair and nothing. I uninstalled the application deleted everything to do with Nokia. Downloaded the application again and still the same problem. Nokia Ovi version 3.1.0.84. The only problem is that, Just shows grey thumbnails and no thumbnail photos. See screenshot attatched
I followed this troubleshooting steps and it still the same issue!..
Step 1
- Go to Add/Remove in Control Panel
- Click Ovi Suite
- Click Repair.
Once repair is completed then please restart computer and check.
If Step 1 didnt work, then try the below step
Step2
-Go to Add/Remove in Control Panel
- Click Ovi Suite
- Click Uninstall
Also uninstall the following f
- Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver
- PC connectivity Solution
Then right click my computer, click manage.
- Device Manager-Ports- If you find anything by name Nokia please unistall ( Dont remove anything else)
Then reinstall windows Installer from the link provided below

- Then restart computer.
- Download and install Ovi Suite
- Restart Computer again

I guess sometimes this happens when the direct x is missing or corrupted in the system. Please download and install from the link provided below.

OS 10.9 Finder sidebar suddenly does not displaying proper contents

OS 10.9 Finder sidebar suddenly does not display most items; only shows couple items I don't even want there. Can change what shows in first finder window but sidebar not responding to "Preference" changes. Screen shot is what it shows now. I downloaded a Yahoo widget and their widget player app today, could that cause this?

I did force quite finder--> no effect.
Finder uaed to list in "sidebar" each of the main folders in HD i.e Documents, Pictues, Downloads, Movies, Applications...(I get same window contents open if click on HD icon as when clikc on Finder). Now none of that.
Just now went back into preferences and unchecked everything in sidebar section. If I check for it to just show HD then everuything does show up but several windows to the right and HD icon is all that shows in sidebar but only if I first then click on (in order across the open windows: Users then geoffreylevens1 (system name).
If recheck items they do NOT show up in sidebar. See attached
