Pls help my iPod is showing some symbols

Hi ... few minutes back, when i checked my iPod its showing some signs, something it has never done before.
From the main menu screen to any other screen i go to, it is constantly showing '2 blue arrows' (the rewind sign) at the top left side of the screen.
Then while playing songs, it shows both the repeat sign n shuffle sign, sometimes its either one. I havent activated either shuffle nor repeat.
Can anybody please help me? Is my iPod getting screwed up?

Try resetting your iPod...

Also, go to settings-->shuffle and make sure it is off. Do this for repeat as well.
See if it works now.

Yes, we are talking about FCP X...this is the thing:
I worked on a project a few days ago and went to share - export movie.
Today, i opened the FCP again, to make some changes, and when i enter to the project, it shows me as one big clip.....i dont see it says compound clip....and i tried anyways pressing break appart clips...but nothing....could it be that i made it compound before exporting it..? if so how can i recover the un-compound version >?
I tried to import the saved .mov file, but it opens the same....as one long clip...

Ipod only shows apple symbol

My 3rd generation ipod was recently restored by the apple store to test for battery failure. When I brought it home and tried to connect it to the computer to transfer all my songs back on it, I got a messege saying that it had to be reformated for windows. After clicking ok, it was not recognized and from then on the only thing i see on my ipod is the apple symbol. Any button i press doesn't do anything. I've also tried resetting several times but with no luck. Any help would be much appreciated

I have the same issue. I went to the Apple store and they have tried re setting it 2 times but this issue keeps coming back. The First time they reset it I was able to connect it to my PC and update then synch it but I have yet to be able to use it. I bought the Apple care service agreement but of course this started happening 3 weeks after the warranty expired.
When I called Apple care they said I could send it in for $255 and have it looked at. This seems a bit ridiculous because you can buy a new one for $300.
Can any one offer any help?

HELP! ADE doc showing some blank pages and blocking ADE software on my PC

I bought a ADE doc and put it in my Nook. The file shows blank pages between page 16 and 116, all other pages seem to be displaying correctly but I'm missing half of my book. Furthermore, when I try to open the file in my PC, the ADE progamm gets stuck trying to open it and then stops working after a couple of minutes. I am currently unable to open any ADE doc in my PC and have a partial file on my Nook.
I've tryied uninstalling ADE several times and installing different versions but nothing seem to work. Can anyone help me?

An iPod can't be formatted although it can be restored.

you should not have a main class. You should have a main method inside a class eg:The original name of the class is Ventana, but you can actually name a class main.
Also, your constructor should have the same name as your class eg:The constructor in the word class it's written like that because I translated the code to english so that it could be more simply to understand.

Pls help! ipod seems "stuck" play icon appears but songs don't play

please help!! my ipod seems to be stuck. when i try to play music, the play icon shows up but the counters at bottom of screen do not move, nor does the song play.
I can play games, they are not stuck
I have reset ipod, and also restored it original settings multiple times with no luck.
any ideas??

The songs are grayed out in iTunes because the iPod is set to automatically update. That is normal.
As for the songs skipping and not playing, that is not.
Try resetting your iPod...
Reset iPod
Also, make sure all the software on both your computer and iPod is up to date...

Update iPod's Software
You may also want to try restoring your iPod...

My ipod is showing 2 symbols

I updated my ipod about 3 mothes ago.... I instantly got the wall plug icon on the screen followed by the low battery symbol.... I didnt have the wall plug so I put my ipod away ....finally i have an outlet adapter...after about 5 hrs on the charger it still wont start back up...also my computer does not reconize it as being plugged in can anyone help me?

Ipod not showing some songs

so i got a 30 gig ipod today and loaded all my music through itunes. i'm starting to notice that for certain artists i'm not able to access all of the music i've loaded. it appears that if i only have music from one album loaded for a given artist, the ipod automatically takes me to that album view when i select the artist. the problem is if i have other tracks for that artist for which i haven't specified an album, it still skips directly to that album view. so the other tracks are effectively hidden. if i browse the ipod through itunes, i can see that these tracks are actually loaded. is anyone else having this problem?

I'm having the same problem with my 60GB. The couple songs that have an album listed show up, but none of the songs by the same artist that don't have an album listed. It just skips right past those to the album list, without the 'All' option. I can get to the songs with no album spec'ed through the Music...Songs...menus, but I always browse by Artist. Now it seems I can't. Anyone have any ideas?

Ok...
Lets say I have a bunch of songs by a band called Rehab... All the ID3 tag info is filled out about them... Artist name, song name, Album, Song track, etc etc...
Well there's a few Rehab songs that I don't have the Album field filled in.. It's just blank, indicating there's no CD it was released on.... The other songs are tagged as being from the CD "Graffiti the World"
I go into my iPod --> Music --> Artists --> Rehab .... ***.. It goes straight into "Graffiti the World." All the songs that don't have an Album tag on them aren't even showing up... There's no ALL > button or anything.. It just shows the songs from the CD "Graffiti the World" and not the other ones I don't have filled in...
It's the case for other Artists to, that I only have as having one CD and non-marked songs.. It seems as if I have to have at least two different albums marked in the ID3 tags for the artist just for it to give me the ALL > button/menu... Any clue?

Quite possibly. It wouldn't hurt to try another one if at all possible. If you have to, borrow one from a friend. It could also be due to debris in the docking port of your iPod. Take a look on the inside of the port and make sure there is no lint or anything like that. Also look for broken pins as they would definitely cause connection issues as well.

I'm a java trainee.Can anybody suggest me the best books available on java swing,java servlet.

I've got "Core Java 2: Volume I - Fundamentals" and I think it's a good book. They go into quite a bit of detail about swing. I've also got "Java 2: The Complete Reference," and I think it's equally good as a beginner's book, but they barely touch on swing.
For servlets, O'Reilly's "Java Servlet Programming" (I think that's the name of it) is good. I've got O'Reilly's "Java in a Nutshell" book, which is a fairly good beginner's book, though it emphasizes the class library more than the fundamentals. I've also got their "Java and JDBC" book, which is good if you're going in the database direction.

Itunes freezes when connnect to computer (Ipod Mysteries) Pls help fast

pls help my ipod nano 4 gig is really weird. like i had problems with it where the screen had alot of lines on it and it fixed. now my ipod has a folder with a yeild triangle with an exclamtion mark inside that. when i connect my ipod to the computer it is read, and then itunes freezes. Also something pops up an alert and says G: files could not be saved try somewhere else. It wontlet me open my computjer either whne i have my ipod connected. i tried the HP USB Format tool but it says that my ipod is media protected and u cant reformat it. i dont know what to do if you have any answer i would really appreciate it!

I just used Nero to burn cds as opposed to iTunes.

My problem is I need to assignment some value into an variable when the "main" program start and I want the data inside this variable visible to all the class to use (by using the getter methods to get the value),
For example: From the code below (the clsMain), it is possible to get the same value assigned into the "strGrandChildName" variable in the "main" program inside the "clsChild" class? I have two applications. One is Client, the other is Platform.
In the Platform, there are source files packaged into a library named ZtConfig.jar used by Client. If run Client and Platform, two applications can execute normally.
But if Client is started by user from platform, there is something wrong.
I noticed the error difficultly with finally catching exception.
I was puzzled. It is so strange. Pls help me. I list some codes here.

I've got it!
Briefly, it is because classpath setting was overwritten by JBuilder.
Firstly, I start Platform from JBuilder. In its messages window. The command is
d:\j2sdk1.4.2_06\bin\javaw -classpath "JBPATH" zt.client.nsr1000.NSR1000App
Now, classpath environment variable was changed to be JBPATH. While I start
Client use Runtime.getRuntime().exec("java -jar Client.jar"), it will not run for classpath changed.
Then, I configured all packages used by Client into JBuilder libraries, including
Client.jar. And changed codes Runtime.getRuntime().exec("java -jar Client.jar") to be Runtime.getRuntime().exec("java -Xmx128m zt.client.nsr1000.NSR1000App")
I also changed CLASSPATH windows system environment variable.
I found this from command console, it can display exceptions. But from JBuilder, there is no exception that can be captured. So debug is difficult.
