PLS help, need to delete cc informations!

I get charged even for free aps! tired of it and want to delete my credit card infromations!
Please help! I have an iPod, dl iTunes, went to my account, but there no option to delete!

What makes you think yo are getting charged?
Apple will place a temporaty charge, which is shortly refunded, to check the validity of the card. Apple does that for free items too.

Help needed to DELETE a System created with Logical Components assigned.

Hi,
I created a system in SMSY in my Solution Manager system. I unknowingly assigned the system to Logical Components. Now on finding that it was a worng way of configuration I need to DELETE the system and recreate it using the option "Create new system with assistant."
Please help me in resolving the issue. I am not getting an option from the were used list to delete the assignment of the system.
Expecting a reply at the earliest.

Dear friend
You can remove the system from the logical component by clicking on display/change and removing the SID from the system assignments,
just select the blank field from F4 help.
Once you have removed the system from the logical component, you will be able to delete the system.

I tried uninstalling my itunes thinking it was perhaps a conflict with the previous version, now I don't have itunes on my pc at all!!
Reading a previous post for this problem, I attempted to uninstall the 6 individual programs from within control panel. Everything uninstalled fine except for the Apple Software Updater which failed to uninstall and gave me the same error message.
I only encountered this when trying to update to the current version of itunes64setup. When using itunes ver 9 on Windows 7, everything was still fine.
Pls help, any assistance would be appreciated.

I have also tried extracting the individual components to the temp file and attempting to install them individually despite being unable to remove the previous install of Apple Software Updater. The outcome, both Apple Software Updater and itunes encountered the same error message during the install process.

Rogue App or Virus on iphone, help needed to delete

Recently my phone starting going haywire - I would click an app or try to text and it would appear that I pressed a different app or when I would type it would enter a bunch of other letters or numbers. I discovered a new app on my phone that I did not download. I only get apps from iTunes and I did not jailbreak my phone. I have included a pic of the program called mfiTmitupxhw (bottom right of pic). When I try to delete it, it says " Delete Icon ~ Are you sure you want to delete the bookmark "mfiTmitupxhw"?" I always cancel because I want the program or app deleted, not just the bookmark. I am worried the program is running in the background. I tried syncing with iTunes, but it was still there. Can anyone help me with deleting this program? The phone seems to be running okay now, no funky stuff happening, but I'm still worried what the heck this program is! Thanks!

Okay, it took me a little bit but I finally see what you are both saying and see what probably happened. Still not sure what made my phone go haywire, but it seems to be resolved. I'm hoping to get a new phone soon anyway and will leave this old one far, far away.

Help needed in deleting nodes from RAC database

Our DB is 10g RAC database and the servers are Window 2003 server. Initially the database was configured to have 4 nodes. For some reason we stopped the instances in the first two nodes and the current database is running on node3 and node4. I queried the v$thread view and it shows 3 records. Thread 2 is closed and disabled. Thread 3 is open and public and thread 4 is open and private. Now we need to disconnect nodes 1 and 2 from RAC db and cluster ware (We use Oracle cluster ware) and plan to use those two servers for other purposes. Although I read through the Oracle doc regarding deleting node from RAC “11 Adding and Deleting Nodes and Instances on Windows-Based Systems” and wrote down the steps we need to take but I am still not comfortable in doing it since it is production env and we don’t have any dev env to practice those steps. So I would like to borrow your experiences and your lessons learned while you were doing those. Please share your thoughts and insights with us.

what's your full version? I can warn about specific issues in 10.1.0.3 and 10.2.0.1 - for example, in some cases (depending on how the listener was configured), it will be impossible to delete the listener for the deleted node. Known bug.
To avoid many many known bugs, you may want to upgrade to at least 10.2.0.2 before removing a node (from my experience, this is the first stable RAC version).
In any case, deleting a node is a rather delicate process. I really really recommend practicing. Take any pc/laptop, install VMWARE, define two virtual machines, install RAC and remove one node. It will take you an extra day or two, and could save your production.

OAF Help needed to customize the Information Template region

We are working on 11.5.9 to 11.5.10 application upgrade project.
We have created an information template in the Information Template setup where we have defined couple of Date fields. These fields are appearing as free text entry fields on the iProc screen. We want user to enter date in a particular date format (say DD-MON-YYYY). We dont want to attach a value set as this approach will display awful amount of date records in the drop down list.
We tried modifying the region XML file (InfoTemplateRN.xml) used for the information template. Here, the attributes defined in the Information template are getting divided into two equal groups and each group is getting displayed in one region. The InfoTemplateRN.Attribute1 and InfoTemplateRN.Attribute2 fields are used to display each group(group of attribute defined in the template). The Attribute1 and Attribute2 elements are of item type Switcher and whatever changes we are making to these field are appearing for other text-input fields(other than the date fields) which are linked to these regions.
Is it possible to control/manipulate the behavior of a specific text-input field?
Any information on this will be of great help.

Does the DELETE_ALL_COLLECTIONS delete all current collections for a specific user or does it mean delete all collections in an application irrespective of who the users are.
eg.(a) if I had 20 users logged on and they each have a collection called 'Collection1' would DELETE_ALL_COLLECTIONS remove collection1 from all 20 users or just 1.
eg.(b)if I had a user that had 3 collections for the current session and I wanted to delete all three in the current session do I use DELETE_ALL_COLLECTIONS or DELETE_ALL_COLLECTIONS_SESSION?

Hi, you could test this yourself. Run 2 sessions, populate a collection of the same name from each session, then delete all collections from session 1. Then, check to see if the collection still exists in session 2. Cheers.

Help needed with delete of bootcamp partition, error message 'Couldn't unmount disk'

Hello all
Sorry if this issue has been repeated elsewhere, I did search but there wasn't a discussion relating to my specific issue.
When we bought the iMac a couple of years ago, my husband partitioned the hard drive to run Windows via Bootcamp. Having got used to the Mac and experiencing the frustration between having to reboot to access each partition I have decided to restore the Mac to factory settings and install Parallels 8 so I can continue to use Office and Coreldraw).
So having backed up all of my files, I started the Mac up holding the 'Alt' key and then loaded the Recovery HD mode followed by Disk Utility. I then selected Bootcamp and erased all data from the partition. [Note: there are 2 files left which it won't allow me to erase through this method]
I then selected the main drive and the tab 'Partition', from the layout I then selected Bootcamp and clicked the minus button. I get the message confirming which partition I am about to delete and hit remove. I then get the error message 'Partition failed: couldn't unmount disk'.
I would be very grateful for some help please? I am not the best techy person but happy to give anything a go.
Just to mention there is nothing left on the Mac that I want to keep, therefore if there is an easier way than having to delete the partition then happy to hear it.

Pls help -- can't delete or send gmail from BB

Hi- I set up my BB to access my gmail acct. Problem is BB can receive gmail, but won't send or delete gmail msg
through the BB. BB also won't "reconcile" with Gmail acct either. Sending/Receiving/Deleting is ok on laptop.
Can anyone provide a solution? I've tried de-installing Gmail icon and re-installing. but it didn't work.

Help Needed regarding the Header Information

I am doing a File to IDOC Scenario for CREMDM. The problem I am Facing is that the Basic type is as CREMDM but it should be CREMAS. I am invoking the Function Module IDOC_INPUT_CREDITOR_MDM and I have made a 'Z' out of that. I have also Used a Custom Process Code to link with this Z Function Module, but it is giving me the Error that " Wrong Function Module Called up". In this Z Function Module I have also checked the Exception of "WRONG FUNCTION CALLED".
<b>Can someone tell me the details of how I can know from where the Header Information is being populated and how i.e. the EDI_DC part.</b>
I did the same thing (i.e. made a Z Function Module and a Z Process Code for DEBMDM) and it is working. In case of the CREMDM scenario, there is a check in the Function Module which checks the IDOCtype and it is giving an error there, whereas in the Header it is coming as CREMAS04 but the Function Module is Giving me an Error.
<b> Can someone Suggest me how I can go about a file to IDOC Scenario for CREMDM and which Function Module i need to Invoke.</b>

Since this is file to idoc scenrio,the header inforamtion will be populated with the information provided in the mapping part i.e,it will be dependent on the fields mapped during the message mapping in XI .
so the edc_dc control record parameters should be populated with the parameters mapped during the messsage mapping,depending on the file parameters or the constant defined during mapping.
and in your case if the message type is CREMDM then the basic type has to be CREMDM04,which u hav to chk with the xi ppl who performed the mapping.since it is mapped to CREMAS04 u r getting a error in function module.so try changing basic type to CREMDM04.

Help needed with deleted files

Hi all
Still a novice, though have been using Aperture successfully for a few weeks now...
I have somehow (and I am still trying to go back and work out how) managed to delete a whole named project with all the photos in it.
I went from one project to another, in order to continue editing, but when I used the control back arrow and delete button to delete 1 photo that was highlighted, it deleted all the photos and the project (or so it seems).
Where can it be, is it lost for ever, and if it isn't how can I retrieve it?

Help needed - events deleted from calendar?

Saturday morning some events for the coming week disappeard from ICal on both my Mac and IPhone. Tuesday am they were back. Now things are gone for Thursday on both systems. Tuesday events were single events, the Thursday items were repeating events. Looked to see if there were sytems issues or updates going on nothing is indicated. Suggestions on anything I can to do to prevent this?

hi i uploaded a few video files of my wedding to my ipad by adding a file to library. As there are a few vidoes i uploaded i now want to delete them, how can i do this. I cant find anyway of taking them out of the library when the ipad syncs. I have unticked them in th elibrary but cannot find a delete button or option to get rid of them. I want to add disney fims into there now fromt he store.

The File class has got method to delete a file from file system.
File objFile = new File("<the complete path of the file>");
if(objFile.exists()) { objFile.delete(); }
Only extra thing with unix will be permission to delete
the file. If the user who is logged into the system with
permission to delete the file then only the java
program which is run under that user id will be able
to delete the file. Otherwise change the mode of that
directory to '777'.
chmod 777 /home/temp
