PLS HELP! Nothing is working, everything is wrong & I'm desperate

I am having many probs w/my ipod mini (4Gig). I can not reset or put into disk mode (as far as I can see... i do the reset button thing and the apple icon appears but nothing restores), I have two exclamation point icons appearing, one with a folder icon as well as an exclamation and a battery appearing, and the ipod seems to be turning on and off - i can hear a constant clicking sound periodically, that or the apple icon just blinks slowly on and off) also can not see ipod through udater/reseter or itunes and have tried all the steps on the support site and downloaded all the new software (updater) and restarted, etc. Are there any answers short of paying to send it in? If not, is this covered under the 1 yr warrenty that comes w my ipod? its been about 11 months since I bought it and the warretny goes into details about manufactureers fault. Is it theirs?

Sounds like the battery might be going - maybe something else as well. Where did you buy it? Is it one of the HP ones or did you get it directly from Apple? If you got it from Apple - do you have an Apple Store near you? Take it in. They can check the warranty. If it is 11 months old - get in there quick. You can use this site also. There is a send for service page and you can input your serial # from the back of the iPod and it will tell you if you are still under warranty.

Help, nothing is working -_-

Okay, I may not be an expert on Java or a wizard who knows everything on computers and whatnot but uninstalling Java should be simple as pie, right? I've tried to uninstall Java7 update 1 for the past hour or so and I've used multiple uninstalling and registry fixing programs to get rid of what was left of 7 update 1. Nothing has worked at all. Even after using the Control Panel (given that it's what comes with Windows 7 it should work, right? wrong.) the program says that Update1 is still there. When I choose to uninstall it, it asks me if I want to make changes to my pc which I always choose yes, so that's out of the way. Then the progress bar pops up. "Gathering required information" or something of the like is up above the progress bar, when it's almost full the window closes out for half of a second then pops back up with the same progress then all the progress falls back to its original position then the uninstaller closes out as if it was never opened.
*Java7 update 1 has become self aware and does NOT want to be removed from my pc.*
Specs of my PC:
Windows7 Home Premium 64-Bit SP1
AMD A8-3800 APU with Radeon HD Graphics
8.0 Gigs of RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti

Because the primary source of your misery is still Microsoft's wonderfully robust installation software, not Java. The fact that Oracle sucks at creating installers should not be the reason why your computer gets messed up when something goes wrong.

previously used motorola USB surfboard cable modem 4200, whenever online, blue screen appears. it is the usb problem, i think the msg is irq driver not less or equal. disabled HT and no problem. But why i cannot use HT? is it not compatible with the motherboard? i changed motherboard, this is my brand new 2nd mobo (same model). now i switch to wireless to connect to the internet, whenever i try to send a file to my host computer(through irc), it hangs. the network icon is still active, the timer is still running, but just no packets sent or received, cannot even go internet. when i try to disable the card, it stops responding. Only rebooting helps. If i use peer 2 peer programs, the problem will occur in 15-30mins, if i used just for surfing, it can last quite long, like 3-6hours than problem comes back. changed and tried 3 brand new dlink (same model) cards but still the same. updated all to latest driver. using a linksys wrt54g router. do not think it has got to do with router, either wireless pci card or mobo but wireless card i changed 3 times already, and mobo changed once. when i use to transfer mp3 to my Mpio FL 100 mp3 player (USB), there is problem. sometimes it can transfer 2-3 songs, after that it stops, sometimes a msg appears (USB communication error). got the latest firmware and latest mpio manager. Tried it on a old computer, p4 2ghz, and it worked fine.
my bios i used default settings all along (did not overclock), but i disable the caching as it will make my computer go blue screen. Ht is enabled.
steps i did - removed all pci cards and left the wireless card alone, but still not responding 15-30mins later if used p2p program, 4-6hrs if do some light surfing
2) updated all drivers, usb drivers, tried xp sp1, sp2, xp, windows 2000. still cannot solve.
3) formatted hdd 20 times with different settings, stil cannot.
4) change brand new wireless cards 3 times.
5) change brand new msi mobo
6) change new soundcard and cd-rom
7) mp3 player new firmware, new software, formatted.

thx. but now i never use my modem through my computer usb. i connect my modem to a router. my host computer works fine (also p4 prescott 3ghz but not msi mobo), my computer (client) uses wireless pci card, stops responding after a while if i use bittorrent, tried diff clients, all the same results. used azureus now. can u solve it? all latest drivers already.

I have got completely confused - can I tell you the story so far - perhaps you can help de-mystify me -
It started like this -
1. My Microsoft Outlook seemed to not be able to send/recieve so phoned BT.
2. At that time I could access BT-WiFi with Fon - no problems.
3. After Techs talked me through something I was up and running again.
4. Then I wanted to carry my laptop to another part of home - now it would not work Wireless as it used to.
5. Phoned BT again Technician asked me to hold and then said try it and I was able to connect wirelessly.
6. Few days later I tried to use BT WiFi with Fon - that wouldn't work then.
7. Phoned Techs again. She said she has 'done something and would I check it' I said all I can see is BT-WiFi not BT-WiFi with Fon and also BT WiFi-X. She said not to worry it will connect to whatever is the strongest signal.
Now - I seem to find I just don't know whether I am coming or going.
8. Sometimes I can go on BT-WiFi and I can't open my Hotmail or Microsoft Outlook.
9. I use to get up the BT WiFi page and was able to login with password and have my BT WiFi with Fon.
10. I also notice on my Outlook/Hotmail on the top left hand corner it will say - Certificate Error Navigation Blocked Outlook com my [email protected]

What started off as 'Please can you help my laptop will not contact Wirelessly i.e. pull out yellow internet plug has now made me completely baffled after the tech help.
I guess I am right in thinking -
11. BT WiFi with Fon - means i get it free for sharing a portion of Wi-Fi Bandwith, etc as they say on BT site.
12. BT WiFi - means I am still connected to my Hub, but I can carry my laptop around in house, and use still counts towards my Data limited each month.
Any thoughts would be really appreciated before I get back onto Tech Help. I just feel like I am now putty in their hands and would like to be able to sound more informed.

BT wifi fon is the same as BTWIFI - both are the from a bt hub and the data you use while connected does not count towards your data limit. you home network which will be the hub name will only work in your home and if conencted to that all data will count towards your data limit

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
The screen you're seeing on your iPhone indicates it is in recovery mode. Now since the device is not appearing in iTunes on your PC, first follow the steps in this article:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows

After following those steps, you should be able to restore your iPhone.

Well, if you've indeed tried EVERYTHING, then you'll need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation.

If you followed the instructions in the support article exactly (leaving the machine off for two minutes), then it has a hardware fault. Take it to an Apple Store or other authorized service provider for repair.

What cloud service or contact manager was she syncing them to? They should still be there and she should be able to sync them back. If she was not doing so, they are gone.

The problem is your friend's music does not belong to you. It is owned by your friend.
I'm afraid you cannot do what you are trying to do. Restoring the iPhone is what you would have to do.
In the future, put your music on the computer and transfer it to the iPhone, not the other way.

My ipod nanos are not being recognized in iTunes. I have tried everything! Changed the drive letter, the disk to FAT32, resetted it, downloaded itunes again, but nothing has worked! HELP please.

Somehow my nano now lost all its music so now its empty! Also, before windows used to recognize my ipod and i'd get a pop up saying "open to view files" but now I don't even get that anymore. I have also tried syncing it by putting them in disk mode but NOTHING has worked. I am getting so frustrated.

When you connect your iPod to your PC, what appears on the iPod's display? Does the iPod charge when you have it plugged into the PC?
Are you running the latest version of iTunes (10.6.3)? It wouldn't hurt to also make sure your Windows OS has all of the latest patches and updates as well.
I assume you have plugged the iPod ino different USB ports located directly on your PC and tried using another 30 pin dock connector cable to rule out the possibility of a bad cable?

Premiere Elements 7, on what computer operating system?
In Premiere Elements 7, there are various effects for lightening a dark video. After applying one of these lighting effects, have you been editing these applied effects in Edit Effects/Properties Palette after you apply them?

Adjust - Brightness and Contrast, Auto Levels....
Image Control Panel that is a default Properties Palette panel along with Motion and Opacity....for Brightness, Contrast, Hue, and Saturation.

Hello people,for months ive tried fixing my i-pod and nothing has worked....i try to restore my ipod maybe that would fix da problem but when i press the program,it says ipod service error,and before that it worked ok,it said preparing and stuff but it never stoped perapring the ipod it just got stuck,and in my itunes i see my ipod,but i cant put no music in it?Therefore i have the 2 colour lights all the time when i try to play it.and also when i try to update my ipod with the program u download from the net it says in the end of the installation:Service could not be deleted.All these problems,could someone plz help me,im turning insane!And i cant refund my ipod because i lost my recite and also the store isnt anymore there(My luck)but plz somebody answer me,thank u

I believe the green and orange light flashing means that you have no music on your iPod Shuffle (which seems correct as you have performed a restore). That is the way the iPod Shuffle tells you that it is looking for the next song. When the iPod Shuffle is plugged into your computer (XP user myself) the orange light is suppose to flash on and off (both the battery light if charging and the front light). When updating the iPod using the updater, I received the same error you received (iPod service error), but I believe it was because I was trying to update my iPod with the Sept 05 version when the iPod already had the Jan 06 update on it. I also noticed the "preparing" bug that you mentioned, by simply selecting next, the restore continues correctly. Once I restored my iPod to the factory settings AND performed the restore process THREE times using the Sept 05 updater (what came with my iPod Shuffle) I was able to store music AND listen to it once disconnected from my computer. My next task is to update the iPod with the Jan 06 update and try the process again but I believe there is a driver issue with this version and it may not work. If this is the case, I will just stick with the software received with the iPod. For you, I would attempt to reinstall the software from the CD that was provided with you iPod Shuffle, restore your iPod Shuffle to the factory settings and do this restore THREE times, start iTunes, once the iPod Shuffle shows up in the Source listing right click on it and select Update. Make sure songs copy over (the top centre of iTunes will tell you the status of the update) and finally disconnect and try playing music.
