Pls help on SAP-note

Moderator message: please use a meaningful informative subject in future
Dear Friends,
When we running one Plant maintaince transaction we have the problem in Unit measure coloumn
"Internal unit PC, language EN is not maintained"
And in unit measures column '********' is printing, to solve we found two notes but those are not compatible for versions, we are using ECC 6.o version, Basis component is 7.0
Pls help on this

Can you ensure that OSS notes 988317 and 917500 along with the pre-requisites have been applied? These notes address the problem you are facing.

Some times some where Customer need more functionality that the original one, or some one wants extra fields and some customers want some others, so SAP has given this notes to solve the problems, it is nothing but Patches to SAP.

Should be simple, pls help - selectOneChoice valueChangeEvent not fired

Hi all, please help! This should be so simple and just work, but I couldn't get it after hours!
I have a simple selectOneChoice tag in my jspx page, with two selectItems with static values - nothing fancy. I just couldn't get the valueChangeEvent associated to it to fire. I have read many posts here, some say that's how it works if the backing bean scope is request because it's got reset back to the default value each time so value never got changed. Yes my backing bean is set to request scope, but it didn't look like it tried to set the default value every time I submit the form, when I tried to set the value to a variable in the backing bean and its getter didn't get called after the form is submitted (it got called the first time the page loaded). For other reasons, I can not set the bean scope other than Request. Please help if you have an idea -

By the way, I used JavaScript alert to test the values are actually changed every time I switch the dropdown.
Just in case you are wondering, the application was a 10g ADF app, migrated to 11g, all components are now Trinidad. As far as I can tell, that shouldn't matter.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If basic troubleshooting fails to resolve the issue, the next step is to take the device to Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider for evaluation.
Apple does not repair devices.
iDevices are not user servicable.
Any attempt by a 3rd party to repair the device will void the warranty and all rights to support from Apple and these forums.

Pls help! SAP api calls...?

Hi, I have a question about the SAP Portal framework. For example, if I created an edit page for editing portlets, is there an api call that I make to tell SAP portal that I am on edit mode so that portal will subsequently save the changes to perhaps an xml file? Maybe there is a edit_mode variable ?
Any suggestions or sample code is greatly appreciated!

If this is the case, your implementation should have been called by the framework in before.

     Reason: Inconsistency between SD and FM.
     Solution
     1. Create executable programs ZZ_CHECK_SDFM, ZZ_SIMULATE_VA02 and
        ZZ_CORRECT_DEL_SDFM under Financial Accounting (FI) in a customer
        development class beginning with Y or Z, with the titles:
        ZZ_CHECK_SDFM         Check of sales order inconsistencies in FM
        ZZ_SIMULATE_VA02      Update of sales orders in Funds Management
        ZZ_CORRECT_DEL_SDFM   FM correction of deleted sales order lines
        a) After you have saved and activated programs, you can take over
           text symbols in English from the programs as follows:
           - SE38 -> Text elements -> Change (CTRL+F1) -> Utilities ->
              Adjust -> Textsymbols -> Edit -> Insert text symbols.
     Alternatively, you can copy and paste the text from the following lines:

        b) Then choose the "Selection texts" tab and take all possible
           parameters from the dictionary by checking the "Dictionary ref."
           box.
     2. Now you can run ZZ_CHECK_SDFM to identify inconsistencies in SD-FM
        integration. The billing amounts are not considered by this program
        ZZ_CHECK_SDFM.
     3. To correct any inconsistencies found, you can access the sales order
        using transaction VA02.
        a) In the most cases, if you change and remove a change in VA02 and
           then
        b) save, it will correct FM amount.
        c) For larger numbers of incorrect sales orders, you can use program
           ZZ_SIMULATE_VA02. To run ZZ_SIMULATE_VA02 you will need to
           implement for EA-PS 1.10-2.00 the correction instructions
           0120031469-347128 or 0120031469-347129.
        d) You will need to change 2 methodes: TRANSACTION_INIT and
           SAVE_DOCUMENT using the transaction SE19 and implementation
           IM_BADI_SD_SALES_FM.
     4. Inconsistencies that cannot be corrected using VA02 or
        ZZ_SIMULATE_VA02 will be most likely where a sale order line item was
        deleted and the deletion was not recorded in FM. In such cases, you
        will notice the text: 'Line deleted in SD' in the log of
        ZZ_CHECK_SDFM. Such lines can be corrected with 3 ways:
        a) You need to create the deleted line again, save the sales order,
           and then delete the line again. This will only have the desired
           effect if sales order deletion is working correctly in FM. This
           manual correction has an advantage that Budgetary Ledger documents
           are created as well.
        b) The second way is required for sales order lines which were
           carried forward in FM to the next fiscal year and which are not
           possible to recreate again, because sales order does not exist or
           automatic line item numbering does not allow to type a certain
           number. In such case you will need to run program
           ZZ_CORRECT_DEL_SDFM in order to close the open amount in FM. If
           you use Budgetary Ledger (B/L), then you will need to run

           budgetary ledger reconciliation program RFFMFG_BL_CORR for
           corrected sales order document in order to create B/L document for
           the FM closing amount.
        c) The third way can be used only for sales orders, which were not
           carried forward yet. It is suitable for sales orders which were
           completely deleted in SD and the deletion was not recorded in FM.
           In such case you can delete FM line items using deletion program
           RFFMDLOI. If you have Period Based Encumbrance Tracking (PBET)
           active, you need to use the modified version, ZFFMDLOI, provided
           in note 577860. If you also use Budgetary Ledger (BL), this third
           way is not suitable for you unless you are experienced with B/L
           reversal program ZRFFMBLREVERSEDOC (provided by note 683707) and
           locating the B/L document based on the relation of fields
           FMIOI-TRANR and BKPF-XBLNR.

Iphone not syncing after updating itunes 10.5. pls help

Hi apologies but I am new to all this stuff. I updated itunes to version 10.5 and I think my iphone 4 was synced in during this. After itunes had updated I found that my iphone wasnt synced in any longer. I pulled out connecter and re connected but still nothing. Rang apple tech support (on hold for an hour in cue). They tried couple of things and then advised to uninstall itunes then reinstall. I have done that but still not recognising iphone. I can sync to my other apple computer but if I try and upgrade to iOS5 on that it says I need to go to the normal computer it is synced with or I'll lose some apps etc. I dont think my iphone has the latest iOS 5 on it yet. Can anyone pls help? Apple support now closed :-( thanks

I am also in the same boat.
Windows 7 on Alienware laptop - no problems at all until upgrade of iTunes client to 10.5.
After the upgrade, attempts to sync my iPhone 4 hang at "Step 1 of 4: Backing up Rob's iPhone" (for over 12 hours)
I have read hundreds of documents with various solutions.
1) Delete backup file from C:\Users\<name>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
2) Stop stuck MDCrashReport and AppleMobileBackup processes
3) Reinstall iTunes
It all FAILS. I work in IT and can assure you that nothing changed but whatever was changed by the iTunes application as it was upgraded to 10.5. This 2 day extravaganza is ridiculously frustrating and creating a rabid anti-apple sentiment in my house. Why the F would you (Apple) release something that is mandatory for me to use with my iPhone and have it be this buggy P.O.S.? (Rhetorical - no need to answer, please just fix this problem so I can sync and backup my phone).

Not getting PO printed while using bursting pls help

Hi All,
Working on converting PO report to XML. While using bursting to print the pdf file the document is not sent to the printer..
But in the output file of the "XML Publisher Report Bursting Program" getting success.
Not sure why report output is not sent to the printer.

How can i detect if my PC is not on Network..... Urgent Pls Help Soon !!!!!

Hello Everyone,
We all know whenever we try to connect to a PC which is not on network, we get UnKnownHostException etc..... by which we can detect that the corresponding PC is not an network(intranet/internet)
But when i send a msg from my PC to my PC, it works fine even if the network is down. I hv provided my PC's IP address instead of using localhost or 127.0.0.1 which reduces the possibility that the msg will not be traversed thru the network.
Any IDEA how this works.
Is There any possible way by which i can detect that my PC is not on network or the PC to which i'm trying to connect is not on network .......
Pls help me out, its really urgent as to be implemented in my Project

I have developed a Messeging Service for the eCRM Apllication my company is developing and we r in the final stage of debugging.
Now whenever a user sends a msg to a PC which is not on network, the messaging service automatically sends an Offline mssg to that PC. But know i want ot distinguish wheather the PC to which i'm sending the msg is not on network or am I not on network based on this i need to perform diff. actions, hence i wanted to know that how can i detect .......

Am not able to run the java program - pls help

1. I installed java in the below path
     c:\program files\java\jdk1.5.0
     c:\program files\java\jre1.5.0
I set the path in
     User variable i. variable name: path
          ii. variable value: c:\program files\java\jdk1.5.0\bin
when I compile it in command prompt-applying javac ? it performed successfully-shows
options like ?g create all debug info, -g : new Generate no debug info etc.,
But am not able to run the file. It shows error msg.
2. I specified the same name for file name & class name.
3. Java <class name>
     Exception in thread ?main?java.lang.NoclassDeffoundError: <class name>
4. Java ?cp <class name>
     Unrecognized option: -cp.<classname>
     Could not create the Java Virtual Machine
5. Java ?classpath . <classname>
     Exception in thread ?main?.java.lang.unsupported classversionError: <classname>
     <unsupported major.minor version 49.0
          at java.lang.classloader.defineclass0<native method>
          at java.lang.classloader.defineclass<unknown source>
               --and many listed below?

7. I re-installed the java, but still the problem continuing.

Is the java class you compiled/calling in the default package? If it is not, you will have to call it by the fully qualified name.
e.g.
package com.mycompany.myproject;
public class MyClass {
    public static void main(String[] args) { }
}This would be called as "Java com.mycompany.myproject.MyClass" and must contain a main method with signature as above.
You would have to call this from folder where the compiled classes are located. If using package, you would call from directory at level of top most package so com folder in this example as Java will look at each package name in qualified name and try to traverse directories with those same names to get to .class file matching class name specified. To avoid this, your newly compiled .class files must also be in your classpath.
Hopefully that helps.

i know loads of people who have had this problem including me. The Java script update apparently had some virus that has overloaded the start up disk. I took to apple who said i have to have the machine rebuilt but first i have to go to a data recovery company to get back everything that was on it. Data recovery company have quoted me nearly £1000.
