After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains a number of troubleshooting steps and helpful advice concerning audio issues:
iPhone: No sound or distorted sound from speaker

Verify that the volume is set to a level you would normally be able to hear.
Ensure that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack or the dock connector.

Games, incoming calls, texts and reminders don't play through the speaker

Have had my 4 a week and it's been perfect until today because none of the above play through my speaker, therefore I can't hear incoming calls, texts or reminders - or play games without wearing earphones. But when on a call, I can switch to speaker and it works - I just can't hear it ring.
All other apps play perfectly through the speaker as well as earphones, iPod, you tube, radio stations, etc.
Nothing's changed in the settings.
Have tried the usual; blowing into the jack hole and plugging/unplugging really quickly.
The fact that some things do play via the speaker tells me it mustn't be hardware related (and that the phone isn't confused about whether or not the earphones are plugged in).
Has anyone else had this? Is there a fix?
Am going to call CPW to at least notify them in case it has to be replaced. But if I was to do a factory reset, would I just have to sync everything back via iTunes and then set up my email etc?
Would a visit to an Apple bar be a good idea? Am based in SE England and both bars are 90 mins away.

IPhone 5 vibrates with incoming call, message, and email but there is no ring tones.

Recently had to replace my IPhone. Repaced the SIM card and backed up on ITunes. Everything works fine but I get no ring or sounds when receiving calls, messages, and emails, etc. Phone does vibrate. Speaker is working with music. Volume is turned on in settings.

Check the mute switch near the external volume controls. If orange is showing it is muted.

1) not keeping my calls logged even though I have set it to log all calls and
2) erasing my record of emails older than one week, even though I have set it to keep all my emails and messages for 5 months.

You're facing memory constraints in your device. Perform the following steps -
Give a soft reset by removing the battery for 30sec.
Check how much memory is free in your device to Options -> Status -> Free Memory. To view all the database size go to Option -> Status -> click Menu button then select Database Sizes
Delete less frequently used application. To delete go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications -> highlight the application you want to delete -> click Menu and select Delete
If you stored your picture in device memory them move them to your media card

I´m not sure what "adjourned" means, but if it has got something to do with software update, I regret to have to tell you that your contacts and sms are gone for good, if you have not followed the advice before updating, to save all data using the Nokia Content Copier within PC Suite...

Time Capsule help setting up PS3 and game adapter

I just bought a time capsule to use as my modem and now my existing game adapter will no longer connect my PS3 to the internet. I have no idea how to fix this. Support forums tell me to type 198.250.1.1 or something like that in the address bar of safari and it never finds my adapter. Can someone please help me? I am totally lost!

I presume you are running Mountain Lion and 6.2 utility.. we need to know that.
You should not need to setup the TC at all from second device.. it is setup and working on laptop.. that is enough.
On the desktop it should be accessible in the same way as the laptop.. same name same passwords etc.
If not, then fill us in on the whole network layout.
Modem what kind.. what broadband.
Is the Modem a router?
Is the TC plugged into the modem.. in bridge or router mode?
I guess the laptop is connected by wireless? Desktop is connected how?
Are you trying to get TM to work.
Mount the disk in finder if you can. Then you should be able to direct TM to use it.

HELP! Images lock and then no sound

I have made many, many DVDs and this has never happened. I have created an imovie which works perfectly by itself. When included in the DVD, it works perfectly using "preview". After the burn, it stops about 1/3 of the way. The audio continues, but the images stop. Sometimes after awhile, the pictures continue, but then there is no audio. Surely, there is a simple fix for this. Can someone please help me. I don't want to redo it in iLife '08. I just want to burn this one DVD before I upgrade to the new OS and iLife '08. TIA

Welcome to the forums.
Could well be a media problem or something during the burning process. I'd make sure it's good quality media (eg, Verbatim is often recommended; I like Sony). Also, you can help isolate the problem by "burning" a disc image (a virtual DVD), but you'll need to add this capability using Patchburn. You can play this image file using Apple's DVD Player, and if it's ok, then copy this image to an actual DVD using Roxio Toast or Apple's Disk Utility. You can slow down the burn speed to reduce burning errors as well.
Possibly your DVD burner lens is dirty after all those burns.
I'd also do some maintenance stuff -- I use the free MacJanitor and then Repair Permissions using Apple's Disk Utility.

The latest Parallels appears to have better 3-D support than it used to, so it might no longer matter. Check their website:

With 3-D support there, and less risk of damaging your existing partition, and better Windows version support, I think it is preferable over Boot Camp, unless every ounce of performance is necessary. If you find it is still insufficient, well, you might want to see if there is a difference with Boot Camp.

Incoming Calls Not Working

I'm using Trixbox with Skype Connect. I can make outgoing calls, but incoming calls just ring a few times, and then the call terminates.
-- When I ping sip.skype.com, I get the ip address 63.209.144.201.
-- All of my "Incoming Settings" are blank.
-- My Skype number is 4159928107
-- I am using a Linksys router, and I have forwarded UDP Ports 5060 and 8000-8004 to my Trixbox server.

I see you are having trouble receiving calls. Looking at your account, I can see you are making calls out okay, and I see that there were at least 20 attempts to your system by a 1410310xxxx number. The number did hit your PBX, but had no where to go. That tells me that you do not have a Incoming Dialing Plan assigned, or, there is not a Default Target Number assigned in the configuration of the PBX. I would advise you to read up on "Incoming Calls" in the Trixbox documentation and follow the instructions to get your Incoming Calls going, and you should be good in no time. If you still need help with that, contact the Manufacturer of the PBX for additional support.
I hope Skype has helped you with a solution to your Incoming Call problem.
