hello we have to do a project on j2me/midp application...basically we are thinking on remote database access from a mobile phone...mobile phone will connect to database of a computer...the problem is we have to add a HCI component in it.....means a component of human computer interaction.....can anyone pls suggest any HCi component that can be added in it...its abit urgent actually

human computer interaction is something like interaction of human wih computer.....actually we are supposed o do sem project on this..its like hw shud be the interface of mobile application so that it can be more practically relevant

are you backing up files, or doing a Time machine backup, either way, the Time machine will STOP when finished and show "last backup at XXXXXX" meaning its done...... OR if when transferring files, it will show a progress bar on your desktop and vanish when files are copied.
Open up the Hitachi drive (your G drive is made by Hitachi, and the best made by the way).....and see if the files are there.
a MORE VISUAL way is to open the hard drive file, and drag and drop files INTO the Gdrive and you can see them visually be copied there as you do it.
To see your HD on your desktop GOTO FINDER......PREFERENCES....then GENERAL TAB.........check the box marked HARD DRIVES.........then your Gdrive will appear on your desktop........open it from there, and DRAG and drop files from anywhere INTO the Gdrive....... easy visual way to see the files being copied into the Gdrive.

Unfortunately there is obviously no one who could help.
I simply logged in over icloud.com and copied the contacts onto my monitor screen..... :-( Not the best idea, I know, but in fact I can look up my contacts.

after your initial declaration, do this.

tab3(15) TYPE c,         "check the length you want

DATA: n_tab TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF n_line WITH HEADER LINE.
now after you fetch data into v_tab,
move it to n_tab.
using a loop at v_tab and move corresponding fields to n_tab's work area
append to n_tab.
once you have populated n_tab and are ready to TRANSFER.
OPEN your file using
open dataset <file> for output in text mode encoding default.
now
loop at n_tab.
TRANSFER n_tab to p_file.
endloop.
CLOSE DATASET.

When we create any Substitution, the it will create a new document for that customization.
you can see the customized document by using follwing sql statement
exec jdr_utils.LISTCUSTOMIZATIONS('/oracle/apps/icx/lov/server/ReqSupplierAM')
Suppose if it is having any substitution document like *'/oracle/apps/icx/lov/server/customizations/site/0/ReqSupplierAM'*.
You can delete this document like
exec jdr_utils.DELETEDOCUMENT('/oracle/apps/icx/lov/server/customizations/site/0/ReqSupplierAM')
Now your substitution will be removed.

We have upgraded to oracle11g from oracle10g and the query which was executing fine in 10g is giving the following error in oracle11g.
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00910: specified length too long for its datatype
The same query is working fine in plsql developer or Toad but is throwing an error when executed through application code. so,I thought this will be because of drivers. I used the same classes12.jar that comes with 10g and I copied ojdbc5.jar into my classpath, the manifest file in the ojdbc jar specifies it as being driver for oracle 11 with jdk1.5.Still,I am getting same error.
My query is a simple SELECT statement and is as follows and i have no idea which datatype the error is referring to. There is no BLOB or CLOB object type in the columns I am selecting. The query when executed in PL/SQL developer returns 200 records.

I would suggest that your NLS settings are different between the tools that you are using.

Query on SRM Shopping Cart ,plz help its very very urgent

I have a query on workflow.
Users creates PO through SRM shopping cart and immedeately they receive a mail in there mail box.Below is the process flow of sending the mail to the user inbox from srm shopping cart.
SRM Shopping Cart>Business Object>Workflow-->Mail
Here my problem is.
The bususinees object generally holds the data for cart number and cart description, but when i am checking the workflow it does not contain any cart number or cart description,so that the mail that is going to user inbox also does not contain any cart number and cart description value.
Recenly our client upgrade from 4.6c to Ecc 6.0 and this problem is happening after the upgradation.
Please suggest if anyone face this kind of problem or anyone having any idea on this.
Pls give me some suggestion.

Hi,
Your condition is puzzling... the workflow in SRM for SC is triggered after the SC is saved.
The PO is a follow-on document after the SC is approved. As such it has no relationship to the backend upgrade since the workflow engine is in the SRM server. Your worflow is triggered from the SC or PO?

I have a IDOC to file scenario in which I have to bundle some number of INVOIC02 IDOCs.
For this I have an IDOC whosw occurance is 1...1.
I have an XSD for the same IDOC whose max occurance is 1.....9999999999.
Si I have created one mapping for these two(i.e IDOC with max occurs 1 and IDOC with max occurs 9999999999.)
I created one more mapping for IDOC XSD and the target file structure.
For this scenario how many abstract interfaces and interface mappings do I need to create?
Can anybody explain the BPM flow in detail in this case?

My 12" powerbook is getting a bit grimy in places, and I was wondering if anyone knows any household stuff which will clean it up a bit. Also, I have 2 light scratches on the front of the laptop, and I was wondering if anyone knows any kind of solvent or liquid which would help in the cleaning up of the scratches so it makes it look new again. When you have a machine as good looking as a powerbook and you get a couple of light scratches, it really does make the laptop that much more undesirable. Thanks, and any help is welcome

i use a light multi purpose cleaner on the case and water and a microfiber cloth on the screen not any chemicals it will cause it to dry out and start to crack.the only cleaner apple recommends is iklear but its pricey but it will do wonders for the whole computer

Basic help needed very much

I have an Epson 3800 printer and Adobe Elements 7 (Epson advised me that I should buy some version of Photoshop to take full advantage of the printers capabilities).....Problem is need basic info on how to set all the buttons to make a decent print. There are many,many choices on various drop down tabs all through the process of making a print. Also, It seems that all my pictures are 72 ppi ...is this a default setting ? Or, did I do something wrong when I downloaded them from my camera ? PLEASE help ! If at all possible someone could guide me through the process step by step I would be very, very grateful. I need guidance from the download, through the myriad of buttons (ie: color management, size selections (why do I have to tell both Elements and the printer the size of my paper?!!$#@) what's up with 72ppi on all my pics, if i change to 300 ppi wont pics get worse ? )
I called Epson and asked them to walk me through a print but they wouldnt because they said I'm going through Elements first and that is not their responsibility! BUT THEY ADVISED ME TO GET ELEMENTS IN THE FIRST PLACE !!!

As far as the resolution, stated in pixels per inch (ppi), the images from your camera have a fixed number of pixels, so resolution is determined by the size of the print...the larger the print, the larger the pixels, the lower the resolution. 300 ppi is considered optimum for printing...higher won't hurt, lower than 250 ppi may start to be noticable.

My professor prohibit that kind of method and I should create an AS file(package or class for those)... to be able to execute.
Meaning it could be in seperated AS files in one folder and frame codes must be clean.

No, it does not. It transfers purchases from the iDevice to the computer. The computer must be authorized for the Apple ID that the content was acquired with.

Query corrupted - Very much urgent

Hi Bwers,
My clinet using SAP GUI 6.4 and Support Pack is 14. Un expectedly I have accessed this system with other version SAP GUI 710 and patch level is 3.
I have done two changes in the system:
1. I have opened one query and modified.
2. I have collected one infoobject for transporting purpose.
Now, the remaining people who are using GUI 640, are not able to open this query. I hope I can re-create this query, but what about the implication on Infoobject that I had collected.

Hi Venkat,
1. If my understanding is right, you have modified a query using new Query Designer, and then the query can't be modifed using 3.x query designer.
Don't worry, the sympton is correct. The 3.x query designer can't change those BI 7 queries, whatever is created or changed by the new query disigner.
So if you want to modify the query in 3.x query designer again, you have to manually created one using the 3.x query designer.
2. Your behavior only affected the query. The workbench objects are not changed. So you don't need to do anything for the InfoObject you collected.
In my company, we have BI 7 systems but we are only allowed to change queries using 3.x query designer. That could avoid the version issue.

I am working production system for master data full load address neumebr attributes. error is
Value 'R GARCIA LORCA, 301 LOJA 40 ' for characteristic 0STREET60 contains invalid charac RRSV 7.
Please help how to find which char has invalid char.please help its very urgent.

I don't see any invalid char there, I don't think it is displaying all the char which was passed to the data target. There might be more, so go to the specific record in psa and see if there is any. If there is non, check your rskc setting in your system. It should be ALL CAPITAL.
