Plug charger into wall

My ipod was updated and was flashing the icon to plug the charger into the wall, however i plug it in and it wont wrk, it doesnt charge i cant turn it on, nothing except the icon keeps flashing!!!! please tell me what to do with it because i go away on tuesday and i cant go a plane flight wihtout my ipod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks interesting, and one side benefit is that one could charge the Nano on the way. (The 6g Nano isn't known for its battery.) You can listen to podcasts - but radio use would take some more work.
Commercially, I suspect that most would prefer a unit that's usable charging in a wall socket - and can be independently, possibly with its own little battery.

5V Cooling Pad into wall socket

Hi good day to all!
I have a 5V cooling pad for my laptop
My qustions are"
1. Can I run my 5V cooling pad using cellphone charger and plug it into wall socket?
2. Can I run the 5V cooling pad to 12V power, Is it possible?, How? What are the things to be use?

I'll add on - you may want to match up both voltage and available current (amps) capacity.
So, if it is 5V, do not connect to 12V as Bill notes.
If the cooling pad and charger are both 5V, that's great, but check the input current requirement for the cooling pad and match that with the current (amps or miliamps) output of the charger. The charger should provide equal or greater current than is required. If the cooling pad requires more than the charger can provide, it may cause the charger to overheat.

Ipod touch won't start or charge in computer, but displays plug into itunes window when plugged into wall charger

so my ipod hasnt turned on in weeks. when i plug it into my wall charger, i get the connect to itunes screen. but if i disconnect it my screen just wipes and turns off. if i plug it into computer i get nothing on the ipod or on the computer that addresses that something has been connected.. This is really frustrating me since i use my ipod for alot of school work. this ipod isn't jailbroken but just seemingly bricked for no reason.

Sounds like a bad battery. How long did you let it charge?
Basic troubleshooting steps.

My iPhone will not work unless I plug it into my wall charger, It is fully charged but only works when it is plugged in to wall charger. When it is turned on it say "Restore needed iphone can not make or receive calls' i tried plugging it up to Itunes but it will not turn on to sync.

First try a hard reset, press and hold the power button and home buttons until the phone restarts and displays the Apple Logo, then let go.
If that doesn't work...
Try forcing recovery mode and then restore with iTunes.

My ipod touch 5th gen will not charge when connected to pc. works when plugged into wall

I just got my 5th gen ipod today, and when i plug it into my pc (and my roommate's) they make the sound as if something is connected, but my ipod does not charge. When I plug it into my wall charger, it works fine. I've tried multiple cables, and multiple PCs, but it makes no difference. The weirdest thing though, is when I restart my computer, when it is about to close windows, it starts charging for a few seconds, then turns back off. This is so confusing. Any ideas?

Sounds like the computer's USB ports do not provide enough current to charge the iPod when the screen is on. I would connect a partially discharged iPod to the computer for a couple of hours and see it it is charged.

Hello all. My system is Windows 7 64bit. In the past my phone worked just fine, plug it into a usb slot, synced up, updated... but for months now it has not worked. Other Iphones will not work on this PC either with their corresponding cables. But my Iphone will also not work when plugged into other computers.. it will not show up at all.. no charge.. no itunes... no drivers show up in Device Manager. My phone works just fine when plugged into the wall with it's cable.. charges fine everything works.. but it will not charge when plugged into a computer.
So far... I have uninstalled everything related to apple... ran ccleaner.. fixed registry errors. Reboot PC, reinstall all itunes and apple components (all latest software) and nothing.
I have gonet o services and stopped and started apple mobile device. It is set to automatic.
I have hard reset the phone and soft reset it.
The cable obviously works. The Phone works when plugged into the wall.
Other Iphones will not work on my pc, nor will my iphone work on theirs
I have disabled windows firewall along with my Comodo Defense Plus and it's firewall. I have disabled my AV. I have scanned with ad aware plus, Avast, ran hijack this and fixed registry errors. Ran Ccleaner.
My device manager does not have anything related to apple in it.. I have no idea why. My Device Manager has no portable devices detected at all and does not recognize anything related to the phone.

My iPod went into recovery mode and I knew I had to restore it. However, when I plug it into the computer, nothing comes up on the iPod and my iTunes doesn't open. Except, when I plug my iPod into my wall charger, it lights up. What can I do to save it?

The battery is possibly unable to take as much power as a normal battery. It may need a replacement battery.
