Plug in error message - I need help

I'm not the most proficient with computers and new to ibook. I often get the following error message and can't get the content I'm after:
This page "blah, blah blah" has content of an unspecified MIME type. Because you don’t have a plug-in installed for this MIME type, this content can’t be displayed.
This is probably elementary. Could you provide me with what I need to do to get the content I'm after?

Problems with iPhone 3G Activation , Error Message (-50), Need HELP!!!!!!!!

I bought the iphone 3G yesterday through Virgin Mobile. I was told to activate my iphone I need to sync it with iTunes.
I plugged in my iPhone and it try to sync for a while then an error message pops up. (*We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occured. (-50).There was an error in iTumes store. Please try again later*.)
I've tried several things, reinstalling iTunes, change the options in my internet browser (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5), turn off my anti-virus software. But the problem still occur.
I can access iTunes store and my playlists etc, but when I click on Sign-in and then click on create new account the same error message pops up again.
I've tried to run diagnostics on iTumes. It says that secure link to iTunes store failed. I've passed all connectivity and sync test. Below is the details,

No need to SHOUT. The cable is the one used to connect your iPhone to your PC. Suggest getting another one.
The problem may be that you're using USB to connect to the internet. It's too slow and will cause problems when you have other high speed USB connections. Use an Ethernet connection to your modem/router. For additional troubleshooting, see these Apple support articles:

This one comes close:
The device could not be restored. An internal error occurred, or Error 3200: This indicates a network-connectivity or traffic issue. If you see this error, wait an hour or more and try again.

Error message #2060: need help and/or suggestions to resolve

I keep getting an "ActionScript" error message #2060 and do not know how to get it corrected or resolved. Any and all help here will be greatly appreciated!!! I am running Windows 7, and use Internet Explorer, Google Chrome and Firefox. The message always appears related to Skype. Here is the error message:

ITunes installation error message. Need help!

I am receiving the following error message when downloading iTunes 10.5 and newer. A network error occurred while attempting to read from the file c:\\windows\installer\iTunes.msi

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

Application Error Message. Need help identifying problem.

From time to time i get the following error message and I'm forced to shut Illustrator down:

The instruction at 0x0034d17c referenced memory at 0x00000014. The memory could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program
Does anyone know what this means? This also occurs sometimes when I'm trying to select a font... for example Impact.. which isn't visible. Is the font corrupt? If so how do I go about obtaining a replacement? Whats going on here?

Most often due two one of the following.
1 Install current version of iTunes, older Macintosh Systems will not support current version of iTunes, make sure you have current version of iTunes.
Or
2 Your computer Hosts file is blocking Apple from communicating with iTunes. To determine this, search Hosts on computer, then open Hosts file with a word processor. If the Hosts file contains this, gs.apple.com it is blocking Apple. This line with its number must be inactivated (removing it works). A stock Hosts file does not contain this or block Apple.
Here is Apple information on this problem:
"This device is not eligible for the requested build: Also sometimes displayed as an "error 3194." If you receive this alert, update to the latest version of iTunes. Third-party security software or router security settings can also cause this issue. To resolve this, follow Troubleshooting security software issues.
Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to perform unauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. First you must uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer, then edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from the hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. Here is my solution that seems to work. I have tested it on one topic, and it worked. I am going to assume that it will work for all, since this was fine:
1. I published the module as standalone topics.
2. I deleted a sample topic to test, and then imported the standalone topic that I had just created.
3. I tested by publishing as a player package that one topic.
Success!

Take a look at iTunes for Windows: "Error 7" message when opening iTunes. Perhaps your .NET Framework needs a repair.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR suitable for your PC (there's a 32-bit Windows version and a 64-bit Windows version):
http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
