Plug-in manager not rearranging plugins as requested

Hello. I've moved IKMultimedia's ARC2 and TR-Meter to a new folder in the plugin manager called "AAA" and hit "done". They show up in the plug-in manager as expected. When I go to the slot to insert them, the TRMeter is in the "AAA" folder but the ARC2 in not. AND when i navigate to the IKMultimedia folder in the list the TRMeter is still visible but the ARC@ is not there. Its nowhere.

OK, figured it out. I was looking for the ARC2, which is a stereo only plug-in, on an insert on a mono track. When I changed it to stereo, the ARC2 showed up. I guess the smart new plug-in manager is smarter than me......

  • " plug-in name does not support the highest level of security for Safari plug-ins" appear for some plugins in Safari Security "Manage Website Settings"?

    Hi,
Wondering why "<plug-in name> does not support the highest level of security for Safari plug-ins" appear for some plugins in Safari > Security > "Manage Website Settings"?
Have been trying to get to the root cause of the problem but did not find much on this. I am trying to figure out what can get the warning to go away completely than using the Allow/Always Allow options for the plug-in
    Thanks,
    Shyam

    Hi Linc,
Thank you for your response. Here is the screenshot of the warning that I am talking about.
    Here is what I do:
    1. Launch Safari and open its Preferences. I have Safari 7.1 installed on my machine.
    2. Click Security Tab and click Manage WebSite Settings
    3. A window opens showing me all the Plug-ins that I have (listed on the left hand side).
    4. One of them is the Adobe Reader plug-in. When I click Adobe Reader, the following details about the plug-in show up on the right
I was referring to the highlighted section that warns me about this plug-in not using the highest level of security for Safari Plug-ins.
Note: I do not see this for all my plug-ins (QuickTime, Adobe Flash Player don't give me this warning) which tells me that there is a way to make the warning go away.
    Thanks again,
    Shyam

  • LR 2.1 Plugin Manager not saving my plugins

I use Jeffrey friedl's smugmug plug in for exporting. never had a problem in the past with it. Now light room plug in manager is not saving the plugin. I have to add it into lr every time I go to use it. I close out of LR and then its gone. I have tried other plug ins and the same happens so its not specific to jefferys. I have tried saving the plug ins in different folders with no sucess.. Anyone have this happen?

I opened LR and opened the plugin manager.. hit add and it points to my library folder. So I downloaded, unzipped and installed the plugin at that location. The plugin installed without a hotch and exported to my smugmug album online. I closed out, reopened and not there.. again! I have no idea why it is loosing not only this plugin, but any plugin I put into LR2. Very frustrating to say the least.. and it worked fine before I upgraded.

  • Application Web Service Control Manager detected AWEBSVC is not responding to HTTP requests

    Hi,
We are using SCCM 2012 sp1 cu5 with one primary in the datacenter and a number of local DP's which are presently servicing 200 users, but will rise to 12,000. The Application Catalogue is installed on the primary server.
Once a day we get the above error and the message id is 8101, and sometimes a user will have to click on install twice, with the first one failing (the ones that fail are normally with dependencies which are quite large in size around 250MB)
I'm just wondering if this is something I should be concerned about, especially since we will be ramping up user numbers in the next few weeks, and if it could be down to volume of traffic, although the apps are downloaded to the users local DP.
Also, does this design look suitable to service this amount of users, or should I have local application catalogues? The WAN bandwith between the datacenter and the user sites has recently been upgraded and is pretty fast.
    Thanks
    Jaz

    Hi Torsten,
Message ID is in the SMS_AWEBSVC_CONTROL_MANAGER status log and equates to "Application Web Service Manager detected AWEBSVC is not responding to HTTP requests. The http error is 12002.
Then, about 1 hr later in the same monitoring log I get Message ID 8102 "Application Web Service Control Manger detected AWEBSVC is responding to HTTP requests.
At the moment it isn't doing this very often, just once a day at different times normally, but it has also logged this a couple of times as well. I guess it may correspond to multiple users accessing the web portal at multiple times, but wondered if
anyone else has seen this behaviour and how it was fixed.
    Thanks

  • Concurrent Manager not processing the requests

    Dear friends,
We are facing a serious issue with our production instance since morning.
The concurrent managers are not processing the requests. As its month closing, a lot of requests are being piled up in the Standard Manager's queue.
The Standard Manager is up. We have verified that by the processes at OS and Concurrent Manager Administer form as well.
The Conc Manager Admin form shows:
    Actual process: 50
    Target Process 50:
    Running Requests: 50
    Pending Requests: 304
However, when we check from Concurrent Requests form by selecting Status=Normal, Phase=Running, its showing only 6 requests as running and rest all in pending phase.
These requests are running for long and no other requests seem to being picked up by the CM.
an urgent help is required as its production environment and all the users are complaining.
    Thanks.

Its R12.1.1 Apps with 11.1.0.7 DB
We have found the issue. In the Concurrent Manager Administer form, when we clicked on the Requests Button, it shows a lot of the following requests:
    Check Event Alert - ALECTC
This request is not shown in Concurrent Requests form.
We found that the Alert mails were not being sent. At OS level, we found 50 ALECTC OS processes were running.
We killed those and immediately Standard Manager started picking up the pending requests.
I am not yet sure of ALECTC processes. Can someone explain ???
    Thanks.

    Hi ,
Standard Manager is not picking up the requests. All the request remains in Pending Normal State. If I exclude the same request and assign it to another Manager , It is running successfully.

Any Idea I tried Increasing the Processes. Teminated all the requests through backend.
Nothing is there in ICM Log File and Standard Manager File
    EBS is R12.1.3
    OS : AIX
    DB : 11gR2

    Sourabh Gupta

    Hi Sourabh,
After Running the Autoconfig and bouncing CM , it works.Good to hear that.
Any Specific reason issue only get resolved after Autoconfig On Apps Tier ? Since I Have run CMCLEAN.sql and Link the FND Libraries Yesterday .Not really as no errors are reported in the CM log file.
Running AutoConfig and cmclean.sql would resolve CM issues in most cases if no errors are reported in the CM/Database log files.
    Thanks,

    Dear Experts,
I had configured Managed system configuration in SolMan 7.1 SP10. I could  find plug-in status " not performed" (grey) in solman_setup screen . Below screenshot for your reference. I had highlighted the plug-in status in blue for easy recognition. Please provide your valuable inputs.
    Thanks,

    Hi Phani,
It is an open issue, pls see below; you might have to hang on till SP12 is available.

  • Waves plug in folder not found? Is there an audio plug in manager?

Hey folks, here we go with what will probably be a series of questions about Final Cut Pro- I just got and installed Final Cut Pro Studio today. I have version 5.1 on a Mac Pro listed below. When I boot up the program, it scans all my audio plug ins (I have many). I removed a couple that were demo's and am now held up on finding the Waves audio folder, although I think I know where it is (Macintosh HD->Applications->Waves->Waves Plug Ins) FCP doesn't allow me to select it, or anything in it.
I tried trashing the Waves preferences. No help there.
I also don't care about using this Waves thing, it's only a guitar amp simulator that I'll never likely need in FCP. So if no one knows about finding the Waves folder, is there a plug in manager like in Logic and other audio programs that would allow me to skip it anyway?
Thanks, Final Cut Pro forum people... I'm going to be learning this program soon, and will no doubt be on here from time to time with questions that I hope aren't too stupid. I can't find this in the four manuals at the moment, so if anyone has any ideas that would be great.

Was the audio line in good enough for most users, especially home users? Yes. Was the audio line in used by most professionals? No.
Keeping the analog signal as far away as possible from any potential source of interference is a good thing. Routing an analog cable over and around disks and power supplies and such can not have a good effect on the signal. Getting it digital as soon as possible can only help.
Conversely, I have looked at and tried quite a few of the USB & FW enabled audio devices out there in the market (including the iMic) and am not impressed at all.
Well you do get want you pay for
No where in my post did I say this was a good thing on Apple's part, I said it was a potential benifit (emphasis added). I too am sorry to see it go, I use it extensively on my personal machine for digitizing my record collection. At some point I will need to buy a new system and the cost of an external A/D converter will have to be added to the cost of the machine as will the cost for a DVD drive.
I do have to say however that this is the first time any post of mine has been called Balderdash, at least in such a lyrical way.

    Hi All
We are using std. workflow WS12300111 for leave request approval which is run from the EP side.
It is working all fine, but the problem arises when there is no manager maintained for an employee. Idealy it should have given a error message; but here the workflow runs and the agent is the manager of the previous leave request.
Is there any setting that is missing anywhere? Or there is someother reason that I can't forsee?
Please help me out in this

    Hi Varsha,
who the agent is getting selected for that step of wrkflow.... r they using any rule or they are referring and org structure..
if they are referring org structure then it will take the next  line manager of that employee...
so if the picking agent is next line manager then it is working fine .............

  • Is there a plug-in manager in LR 1.1?

I am using Lightroom 1.1 and want to download/activate a plugin, but don't see the plugin manager in the File menu - is this feature available in 1.1? Or is there some other way to activate plugins?

Sorry I should have said that I did download it and it went it it's own module folder. but the problem is how do I use it? there is no where in lightroom that says to use it. it's in a folder but does not open anywhere in lightroom. confused.
And I am in my right mind but have no money.....that is why I am not upgrading!

Subject: Is there a plug-in manager in LR 1.1?
in Lr1.4 - copy plugin folders (including .lrplugin or .lrdevplugin) into a Modules sub-folder of the default Lightroom settings folder, which you can get the exact location of by un-checking "Store presets with catalog" for a moment, then clicking "Show Lightroom Presets Folder" (see Edit Menu -> Preferences... -> Presets Tab).
PS - You will have to create the 'Modules' subfolder yourself if its not already there!
But, why would anyone in their right mind by using Lr1 at this point???
Beware: Any plugin that started in 1.4 but has migrated to Lr2 then Lr3, may not work very well in Lr1 anymore, if at all. So, unless its a legacy plugin from the day..., consider yourself fore-warned...

  • No color management in Photoshop plugin!?

Today, I finally started playing with PixelBender in order to make some Photoshop filters for color and tonal corrections. Unfortunately, I seem to have hit a snag. Unlike any of the other filters, the preview window of the PixelBender plugin is not color managed. This means you're essentially flying in the dark when making adjustments. Not a big problem for a mosaic or warping filter, but it's pretty fatal for color adjustment filters.
This probably has something to do with the fact that PixelBender uses its own display path (GPU/CPU). Then again, Photoshop itself also uses some 3D acceleration without breaking color management, so why can't the PB plugin do the same? Does anyone know if there is a way to enable color management? If not, is there any chance that this will be improved in the plug-in? Just in case this could depend on configuration: I'm testing this on a Windows XP SP3 laptop with integrated intel graphics (so I get CPU mode), running Photoshop CS4.
As it stands, PixelBender has a lot of potential as a cross-platform plug-in platform for Photoshop, but it still has a few major drawbacks:
The plugin preview window is not color managed.
The plugin processes all pixels, regardless of zoom level and visible image area. This makes it slower than necessary.
There is no way to determine the color space of the input image [or a way to use a standard space such as ProPhotoRGB/RIMM]. Without this facility, a 'color-aware' plugin must be written to match a particular color space.
No access to UI controls beyond sliders.
If only the new actionscript wrapper for Photoshop gave access to the image data, then most of the above could be addressed. For now I'll wait and see what, if anything, is around the corner...
    Regards,
    Simon

Thank you for your response. It's good to know that a color-managed plugin could be in the cards. This would really be useful to me. Among other things, I'd like to port this plugin to PixelBender: http://21stcenturyshoebox.com/tools/tonability.html . It's currently written in C/C++, but programming for the combined Photoshop and win32 SDKs is such a pain that I'd prefer to move on sooner rather than later. Not to mention that a single PixelBender kernel could run on win/mac and 32/64-bit.
I realize that getting access to the color space of the image would require a language change. Furthermore, it would probably require a library (supplied or self-made) to make sense of all possible color spaces, or to transform images to and from standard color spaces. A simpler possibility would be to add a checkbox in the plugin (or a simple kernel option) that imposes a particular reference color space on all inputs and outputs. The plugin container would then take care of transforming the image to the proper space and back again. My personal favorite for such a space would be the linearized ProPhoto space used by Lightroom and ACR, because it's linear and sufficiently large. And if I may dream a little: this choice would also make it easier to insert PixelBender filters into the Lightroom workflow at some point in the future...
About the UI: a particular limitation I am running into is that I cannot control/restrict the sliders based on the values of other sliders. In my case, some inputs should always be higher than other inputs (and using relative numbers is not an option for the UI). The evaluateDependents() function is great for making sure that the kernel gets the right numbers, but there is no way to feed this information back to the user. For example, you cannot disable a slider, restrict its range or change its position from within the kernel. This is no surprise, given the one-way programming paradigm that the GPU is so good at, but a hindrance for writing 'stand-alone' plug-ins. Rather than changing the language to accomodate these features, would it be possible to have a flex/AIR container in the control section of the plugin? The Flex/AIR program could handle the UI, including feedback and other advanced functions, and could feed the PixelBender kernel with the correct parameters. Just another far-fetched suggestion, but it would make my life a lot easier.
