Plug-in or Rule to prevent sending a piece of mail meeting certain conditions

I'm looking for a plug-in, rule or process that would prevent me from sending a specific piece of mail. I doubt many people have this issue but sometimes I hit send w/o scrutinizing the "TO" and "CC". It's a bad habit of typing in the start of the name then accepting the first name without inspection. I know the best way is to get into a new habit of checking but I would love to set up some send rules that include conditions that keep me from doing the bone-head move. I've looked at the Apple Mail Rules, Act-On and a few others but everyhting is about organization and recieve. Thanks in advance for any help.

What about unchecking 'Automatically complete addresses' in Mail, Preferences, Composing, Addressing?
That way you MUST type in the full email address.

Hello! I need to create a Transport rule to prevent our staff from accidentally including recipients from both of two of our clients. I.E. I need the rule to examine every message to see if contains both *@domain1.com AND *@domain2.com in either

Hi,
In Exchange 2010, to prevent your staff from accidentally including recipients from both of two of your clients: domain1.com and domain2.com, you can create a transport rule to achieve this goal.
In Exchange 2007, there is no related Conditions in Transport Rule that can help us to restrict users to send messages to a recipient in the domain1 or domain2.

Prevent infotype 0416 from being created under certain conditions

Hi,
Based on an advanced leave formula I can determine at runtime whether or not the infotype 416 record should be created or not. The formula is working.
What is not working is that I need to find a way to prevent the 416 record from being created when the formula returns certain values. I have looked at ZXPADU02 and various other user exits and badi's but to no avail. The ZXPADU02 does not have the field which needs to be checked i.e. PA04160-NUMBR.

Error: Maintain settlement rule of the sender for a higher level WBS

Hi,
I dont want to maintain the settlement rule for a higher level WBS. How can i configure this in such a way that i dont get the following error:" Maintain settlement rule of the sender" while doing CJ88. Maintaing a separate Settlement profile for a higher level WBS is an option but we are looking if something else could be done The problem is that there are no actuals booked against, say, level 2 WBS but when i execute CJ88, i get the aforesaid error. How can i ensure that only the lowest level WBS ask for the settlement rule and not the levels above it. I have already removed the Investment profile from the higher level WBS but still getting the same error.

It is a type Capex WBS and Biling element is not checked. In fact i get a warning while doing the settlement: WBS is neither a billing element nor an account assignment element.
Diagnosis
WBS element is not indicated as either an account assignment element or as a billing element in the master record.
System Response
The WBS element cannot be assigned to an account.
Procedure
Correct your entries or add the missing indicator to the master record for the WBS element.
But this is just a warning. On pressing enter i get the error :Maintain settlement rule of the sender "

Each Order Type is assigned to the Settlement profile and in settlement profile the Settlemet receiver is maintained.
Genereal Critaria
Sales Order Settled               to Production order.
Production Order Settled       to Material
Internal order settled              to Cost center or GL
Please refer following T code.

Check for Periof End Activity in Costing.

Mail Missing Plug-in after sending; quit and restart Mail fixes it

Its very obnoxious after all these years to have Apple Mail continue to complain about Missing Plug-in
This happens for PDFs, .zips, .jpgs and other types.
Any ideas why Apple cannot seem to fix this?

Back up all data.
Boot into Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, follow the prompts to reinstall the OS. Order :100010R.
Settlement period - 11
processing type - automatic
Selected the Test run.
When executed, the following error is displayed " Maintain the settlement rule of the sender" Message No: Message no. KD205
Settlement rule was selected and the settlement rule was displayed.
In the distribution rules, in the category FXA and GL are defined and in Settlement, it is Full and from and to date is 10,2010.
Please suggest how to solve the error?

Maintain only the FROM DATE... Remove the TO DATE as 10.2010 (Extend the TO DATE)

Can an AppleScript prevent [Send] from sending a message?

I want to keep myself from sending messages unless they meet certain criteria. Ideally, I would like an AppleScript to fire whenever I click the [Send] button. The script would examine the message, and then either allow it to be sent if it passes the criteria, or cancel the send request and display an error message, if it doesn't. In the latter case, my intent would be to fix the problem, and re-click the [Send] button.
Any ideas how to do this?

What you would need to do would be:
1. Control-click on the 'Send' icon and choose 'remove' (you can still send a message with Control-shift-D of from the 'Message' menu and you can restore the ikon by control-clicking in the toolbar of a new message).
2. Write an Applescript to evaluate and send. Save it as a script, not an application, in (username)>Library>Scripts>Mail scripts. It will be accessible from the Mail scripts menu (the icon) and you should be able to assign a keystroke to it in System Preferences>Keyboard and Mouse>Keyboard shortcuts.
The Applescript would take the form
if (message complies with conditions) then
(send the message)
else
(beep, or 'say "Cannot send"', or some indicator).
I can't tell you how to frame the script: there is a 'send' command but I couldn't persuade it to send a message. You could look for an Applescript forum.

Why do I get an "unable to connect - There may be a problem with the mail server or network." message from iCloud. I have verified the settings. I can access my iCloud account online but can't send or receive e-mail via the mail account.

iCloud is not supported on Snow Leopard or lower, why bother to mention it?
The OP has an iCloud account, and that can not be opened without Lion or Mountain Lion (on a Mac), IOS5 or 6 (on an iPhone/iPad)

Error while sending PO output through mail in PDF format - Urgent

A cyclic job runs, which processes the messages seen in the SOST queue.
Are you sure it's not the frequency of the cyclic job, rather than the
number of messages in the queue, that you are observing? In messages
that are queued and before the cyclic job runs, "wait for comm. service"
is the normal status.
If you mean that there are always 4 items queued in SOST regardless of
the cyclic send job, then I have no ideas. I would have thought there
was no way to do that.
when the send job runs it just never
picks them up & sends them, while it picks up many others. The send job
is somehow blind to these; no error message occurs. In this case, I
'delete' them from the queue (in SOST) and then 'undelete' (drop down
menu -> /Go to /Deleted Items) them and then re-queue them. THEN they
actually get picked up & sent when the next cyclic send job executes.

Applescript Rules Don't Work in 10.8 Mail.app

Very simple thing Im trying to do here. Set up a rules to run a simple growl notification script when a new mail with a vertain subject arrives. This script works perfectly file in the editor and runs file outside of the mail.app.
Set to to run as a rule using the run actionscript option in mail.app - but it will never run.
Why would this script run fine outside of mail.app, but not as an actionscript rule?

Cannot send mail using Comcast's outgoing server

The configuration and use of any outgoing server address (SMTP) may not be supported due to several factors including, but not limited to, the inability for the outgoing server (SMTP) to authenticate users (whether by IP or username/password) that are not directly connected to that Internet Service Providers(ISPs) network.
This is usually your HOME wi-fi and you are not connected to it because you are on your iPhone away from the house. This is mainly done to prevent unsolicited users from sending SPAM via the ISP's servers.
An alternative is to use ATT SMTP Server (for US) when you are on the 3G or data network for the carrier and not on your home wi-fi. So enable ATT SMTP server under Other SMTP servers under your Mail's account settings on the iPhone.
If you are interested you can obtain that information directly from the email provider. This article has a great temple that you can use to ask all necessary information from the provider including "If you use your ISP’s own email service (instead of a third-party such as Gmail), sometimes it may not work if you use another Internet access point, such as a cafe with wireless Internet. Ask your email provider if the settings they give you will work on other networks."

Check your Mail rules and filtering, the verification mail may be going to a junk folder or even being deleted altogether. You may also wish to contact your mail provider to see if their spam filters are removing the email before it gets to you.
