Plug -Ins' on Creative Cloud

Hi,
Will plug in's such as Video co-pilot's Elements work on the CC and if so will they have to be re-installed everytime there's an upgrade?

The update from After Effects CC (12.0) to After Effects CC (12.1) doesn't change anything with regard to plug-ins and scripts. They should all just keep working as before.
When going from After Effects CS6 (11.0) to After Effects CC (12.x), there is a need to install into the new locations, but not a need to get new plug-ins in most cases.

    Hi Sybrand,
This is NOT a multi-post. If you could understand plain english, I said, I have posted a question under "Enterprise Manager" forum and also provided a link to MY post. Requested people to answer there. If not completely, it's in-direct way of posting a cross-connected thread. Why did you think that there was a need to post the thread link, related to a different domain in this forum? You had a question related to EM and you posted it in the very thread that belongs to that question so what was the requirement to again pop up that thread over here which has nothing to do with it? And that too, within a minute of posting the original thread! If you thought your question was very "urgent" , you could always raise it to Oracle Support with Sev 1 .
I think you need to learn how to be patient and how to participate in user forums. Well, learn to get corrected and also to respect the guys who are here from a very long time and are extremely knowledgeable.

With the amount of information you've provided it's impossible to offer a solution.  We can't see your computer so we need to know the details of your problem and setup, i.e.:
what version of iPhoto are you using?
what system version are you running?
what are you seeing the exclamation point?  When you double click on a thumbnail?
    what fixes have you tried?
    where is your library located?
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library?
    what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?

  • Where can I get the pixel blender plug-in for Creative Cloud? Or something similar.

Looking to find the pixel blender plug-in for CC as I cannot seem to find it.

I believe that you are looking for a "3.5 MM TRRS 4 conductor" plug. You shouldn't have too much trouble finding a supplier for this plug.

  • Can I move my Photoshop CS5 plug-ins (e.g. Imagenomic's Portraiture) to Photoshop Cloud?

I just installed Photoshop Cloud today.  I see that it does not include any of my plug-ins from my 64-bit Photoshop CS6 on my desktop.  Is it possible to move the plug-ins into Photoshop Cloud?

Moved from the Creative Cloud to the Photoshop forum. Folks here may know about specific plug-ins.
For the most part I believe the general advice will be to contact the plug-in maker via email or their forums to see if the plug-ins are compatible, require and up-grade, etc.

  • Migrating settings, actions, plug-ins etc. from CS5 to CS6 (Creative Cloud)

    Hi,
I wondered if someone could help me with the transition from CS5 to CS6 (Creative Cloud). I'm on a Mac with Mountain Lion.
I would like to migrate as many settings (i.e. workspaces where relevant), personal Photoshop actions, plug-ins (i.e. Type DNA, FontShop [Photoshop], Scriptographer [Illustrator] and Blurb Template Creator [InDesign]) as possible from CS5 to CS6. What is the easiest and smoothest way to do this?
Some settings, actions and plug-ins might not work with CS6, I don't know. I can't find where my Photoshop actions are archived atm.
Can I import extensions from Adobe Extension Manager CS5 to Adobe Extension Manager CS6?
Should I uninstall all CS5 apps? I'd like to keep InDesign CS5 for backwards compatibility at least.
Does Audition completely replace Soundbooth? What about Flash Catalyst, Device Central and OnLocation?
Edit: I have already installed all the Creative Cloud applications btw. But I haven't uninstalled any CS5 apps yet.
    Thanks,
    Eivind

    Hi Elvind,
I would suggest keeping both CS5 and CS6 versions on the system until you are fully transitioned, longer if you want. When you launch Photoshop CS6 it will ask you if you want to import settings from the prior version. Third party plug-ins may or may not be compatible between versions so you might need to check with the manufacturer to find out. You would most likely need to reinstall any third party plug-ins that integrate into existing Adobe product installations though.
I found this document for Photoshop CS6
    http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/preset-migration-photoshop-cs6.htm l
For the PS actions, I normally open the actions panel, highlight the actions set (folder) I wanted to migrate, from the flyout menu of the panel choose the option to save the set, this creates the .atm file. There is another option for importing actions in the same menu.
I can't speak to migrating in relation to the other products. I would recommend posting in the respective product forums.

  • How do I get my plug ins (Nik and Topaz) to work on Photoshop Creative Cloud? [was:Plug ins?]

How do I get my plug ins (Nik and Topaz) to work on Photoshop Creative Cloud?

Contact the makers of your third party plugins and see if they have updates that work correctly with Photoshop CC 2014.
Also, make sure you ran the installers for the plugins instead of just copying them, since you may be missing necessary support files for the plugins.

  • Transferring plug-ins from CS3 to CS6 in Creative Cloud?

You may want to re-download the plugins from where you bought them and install them fresh for CS6. Or at a minimum check to see if new CS6 versions are available. The underlying architecture changed for plug-ins when CS6 was released. Some developers had to re-write CS6 versions. Some may work, while others may have had to be updated to work with CS6.

  • How to save down from InDesign Creative Cloud version to CS5? Have exported as .idml file but still get messages that plug-ins are missing although CS5 confirms it is fully updated.

How to save down from InDesign Creative Cloud version to CS5? Have exported as .idml file but still get messages that plug-ins are missing although CS5 confirms it is fully updated.

Yes. Thanks. I misled myself based on another post. Successfully did this by selecting "File," "Save a copy ..." then choosing "for CS4 or later (IDML)"
It required some patience and several tries, but I think that was due to hardware (memory) being overloaded by CC Cloud version or something. It was a 50 MB, 500-page file and took 17 minutes to convert/save,
Re-capping: from CCloud to CS5, don't use "Export" (to IDML); use "Save as" or "Save a copy" and select "for CS4 or later (IDML)".
    Advice much appreciated.

  • Creative Cloud updated photoshop to 2014 and now my plug-ins are gone

all my settings and preferences are default now too.

For Topaz, cop the shortcuts from Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photshop CC\plug-ins  to the same folder in Photoshop CC 2014
    I don't know about Nik
