Plug-ins that failed to load:     3-D NO VERSION

After installing PS CS5X on my new Win 7-64 system, I get this message when I open PS64bit:
Plug-ins that failed to load:
   3-D NO VERSION -  - from the file “3-D.8bf”
I haven't tried anything in the 3-D arena in PS-64bit yet.
I can't find any reference to this in searching.
Appreciate any suggestions to resolve.
Thanks,
RON C

Hi Ron,
I'm pretty sure this is a third party plug-in that is not 64-bit compatible. Did you copy any old plug-ins to your CS5 install, or point the Alternate plug-ins pref. to a directory of plug-ins? Try launching the 32-bit version of Ps and then go to Help> About Plug-In to see what third party plaug-ins are there.

steve

  • Plug-ins that failed to load   NO VERSION

I am trying to release a 64bit version of Windows plugin.
I get the following issue when Photoshop CS4 64bit starts.
    Plug-ins that failed to load:
Correct NO VERSION -  - from the file “PTFilters.8BF”
Extract NO VERSION -  - from the file “PTFilters.8BF”
Insert NO VERSION -  - from the file “PTFilters.8BF”
Perspect NO VERSION -  - from the file “PTFilters.8BF”
Remap NO VERSION -  - from the file “PTFilters.8BF”Flash:
       Connections
       Kuler
The 32bit version loads fine. In a single file I have 5 plugins.  Each with its own entry point and PiPl and aete resource.
Are there other chagnes to the resource file besides the following needed?
                #if defined(_WIN64)
                    CodeWin64X86 { "PluginMainCorrect" },
                #else
                    CodeWin32X86 { "PluginMainCorrect" },
                #endif
On the 32bit version if I choose Help | About Plugin ... on any one of them I get 5 request to display an about box. Is there something I can do to prevent this besides creating 5 seperate files?
    Jim

The reason for the plugins failing to load on 64bit was I forgot add a Preprocessor define of _WIN64
Still getting 5 request to dispay the about box .  Is this a PS bug?

  • Third party plug ins that actually DON"T work

some plug-ins that are listed in this forum as working, don't handle automation correctly. These include all arturia, and the korg legacy plug-ins. The linplugs seem to work with the automation correctly. Although I've encountered many redraw issues and bugs which are all related to automation. This has got to be the worst logic upgrade ever!!!! (I've been working with the platform since logic 3.5.3) I'm not a happy camper.

When you say "don't handle automation correctly", what exactly do you mean?
Do they fly off in a tantrum, or just cross their arms in a huff and refuse to do anything..?

  • How can I delete plug-ins that I do not want then anymore?

how can I delete plug-ins that I do not use anymore?

Uninstall them by deleting them from the Library:
The plug-ins usually are installed in the Applications Support Folder -> Aperture -> Plug-Ins, either in your your User Library or in the System Library:
    your home folder/Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-Ins/
    /Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-Ins/

  • I have 10 plug ins that firefox says needs updated. When i go to get more information... I am directed to a google list, which i have no idea what to get as an update. Help Please??

Its not that I am having any problems with the plug ins, but as I read, Plug ins that are not updated cause instability among other problems that can arise.

Did you go to: Tools / Add-ons / Plug-ins and start the updates?

  • Can everyone list the plug-ins that aren't working in 10.4.9 here?  Thanks

I'm about to start the biggest project of my life and am very tentative to upgrade to 10.4.9 due to some of those who are having issues w/it.
I thought it would be a good idea to list all of the plug-ins that aren't working w/10.4.9 for those who still haven't upgraded yet. That way, we can have a heads up before we take the plunge

It has a lot of other Supposed fixes . I guess most of you agree they are not that vital ?
The 10.4.9 Update is recommended for PowerPC and Intel-based Mac computers currently running Mac OS X Tiger version 10.4.8 and includes general operating system fixes, as well as specific fixes or compatibility updates for the following applications and technologies:
    - RAW camera support
    - Handling of large or malformed images that could cause crashes
    - Image capture performance
    - Mouse scrolling and keyboard shortcuts
    - Font handling
    - Playback quality, and bookmarks in DVD Player
    - USB video conferencing cameras for use with iChat
    - Bluetooth devices
    - Browsing AFP servers
    - Apple USB Modem
    - Windows-created digital certificates
    - Open and Print dialogs in applications that use Rosetta on Intel-based Macs
    - Time zone and daylight saving for 2006 and 2007
    - Security updates

  • Is there an HDR plug in that will work with the 64 bit version of PSE 13?

Is there an HDR plug in that will work with the 64 bit version of PSE 13?  I was hoping that NIK HDR Pro2 would work since Elements 13 is now 64 bit, but unfortunately, that is not the case.

The internal speakers work fine when I boot in Windows, but they don't appear as an option in the System Preferences Output selection when in OS X. Does anyone know what command I could use to tell it to use the internal speakers instead?
Ideally it would be great if I could then just click between output options in System Preferences, but any solution at all would be greatly appreciated.
I am not sure if this will help, but if you haven't already checked the settings in the Audio MIDI Setup utility, try 'em out. Most people don't know that utility exists, but it has additional audio routing/muting options that are not in Sound system preferences.

  • I have a few plug-ins that obviously are not compatible with FF 8. I even tried updating the Picasa 3 plug-in, and it still says it's not updated?

    I have 5 plug-ins I'm having problems with.
    Shockwave Flash
Shockwave Flash 11.0 r1 ( Apparently they don't even have a Windows Vista update for 64 bit systems? Only Windows 7)
    Windows Presentation Foundation
Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) plug-in for Mozilla browsers
    Picasa
    Picasa plugin
    Google Earth Plugin
    GEPlugin
    Google Update
    Google Update

Those are all third-party Add-ons to Firefox and those are handled differently in Firefox 8.
    *Start with --> https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Add-ons%20are%20disabled%20after%20updating%20Firefox
*'''''Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)''''' comes from the installation of Microsoft's .NET
*For the Google items and Picasa, you will need to check the appropriate sites to see if updates are available.
    '''<u>Adobe Flash</u>'''<br />
There are 2 versions of Adobe Flash:
*an '''ActiveX version''' for IE only
*a '''Plugin version''' for most other browsers including Firefox
*On a Windows system, you should always update both individually.
*'''''You do not appear to have the Plugin version for Firefox installed. ''''' If you did, in Add-ons > Plugins you would see "Shockwave Flash ''(version)''". If "Shockwave Flash" is there and is disabled, click the "Enable" button.
*Check your Plugins often --> http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
*only the most popular/used Plugins are known by this page
*page will detect only installed, '''''enabled''''' Plugins
    '''<u>Install or update Adobe Flash</u>'''<br />
#'''<u>Using Firefox</u>''', go to the following link and SAVE the download to your desktop so you can find it later. Un-check any items on that page that you do not want to download (i.e., "McAfee Security Scan Plus":
#When the download is finished, close Firefox (File > Exit '''''OR''''' Firefox button > Exit)
#Click or double-click on the file you just saved to your desktop
#*In the installation window that appears, click the box to the left of "I have read and...." to place a check mark in the box
#*The "Install" button in the lower right corner will now be highlighted, click it.
    #*The installation is quick.
#Start Firefox and test your installation here: https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
#To update/install the ActiveX version for IE '''''only''''', repeat the process, '''<u>but use IE to go to the above website</u>'''.
'''NOTE:''' Some users have experienced some problems with the 32-bit version of Flash (Firefox is a 32-bit browser and requires it) not being installed on 64-bit systems; the current Adobe Flash installer is supposed to install both on 64-bit systems with a 32-bit browser. If Firefox does not recognize Flash (see the test page above) after installing per the above instructions, then download, and SAVE to your Desktop, the 32-bit installer from the direct link below. After the download is complete, run the installer and test on the test page above again.

  • Are there QT plug-ins that Firefox/IE 7 must have?  Where?

We were trying to set up a streaming video URL. However, what worked last year didn't work this year.
But, then we realized that on our Windows boxes, we updated IE 7 and installed Firefox 2.0.0.1 -- but QT 7 was already installed before doing those updates.
If we tried to access the URL, IE would say the QT plug-in was broken and Firefox would just lock up.
So, I uninstalled and reinstalled Quicktime and everything worked as expected.
So, it makes me wonder if there needs to be some kind of "order of installation" to make things work properly.
If not, is it a question that some QT plug-in files just need to be relocated? If so, any idea what files?
    Thanks!
    - Steve

Any browser plug-in should be installed so that any user and any browser can access it.
Some browser require their own settings adjustments to "find" or use these installed plug-ins and a quit and relaunch of any open browser must occur to use newly installed plug-ins.

  • STP v2.01 quits at start up with some 3rd plug-ins that are ok with Logic.

Installed Logic Studio exactly two weeks ago. The main focus has been on Logic Pro.
Haven't used them yet, but MainStage, and WaveBurner open without any problems.
Today is the first time I tried to open SoundTrack Pro. It quit while scanning audio units plug-ins.
Out of desparation, I created an "unused components" file and dragged all AU plugs to this folder.
STP opened ok with just the Logic plug-ins.
So I started the process of systematically adding a few AU plugs back into the components folder. All PSP and RND plugs seemed ok with STP. Beyond that, I realized that some, but not all of the various others (UAD, TC PowerCore, etc) would work. I could spend all night driving myself crazy making a list of what does and does not work with STP.
All of my audio plugins work with Logic Pro 8, DP 5.1.2, and DSP-Quattro!
    Please help.
I was hoping to use STP as my audio file mastering program.

Long story short.... the problem was TC Powercore plug-ins. In particular, the Assimilator.
I was able to gradually add back all AU plug-ins to the Components folder without any problems opening STP.
    I hope this helps others.

  • Plug-ins that use the internet

    Hello Community,
I am interested in writing a Premiere plug-in that can upload/download files to a URL from Adobe Premiere. Is there API functionality that lets me do this? More generally, is it possible to write this into a plug-in?
    Thanks much.
    Best,
    James

PPro panels are (basically) web pages, and can upload/download files, using common web frameworks, as you wish.

What plug ins work for sarfri oroogle chrome

There are no plugins for Safari or Chrome for iOS. Any available functionality already exists in the apps. You can't add functions.

  • I compiled a list of free audio plug-ins that actually work in Premiere

    http://www.fallenempiredigital.com/blog/2013/03/06/enhance-your-audio-mix-in-premiere-pro- with-free-vst-audio-effect-plug-ins/
Cross posted from the Creative Cow forums, I wanted to invite others to suggest plugins they may be using (free preferred). And no, Adobe, I'm not dissing your audio effects in Premiere but they are Soviet-prison-cheese-sandwhich basic.

    Thanks for the response.
We tend to not assume it'll work & blindly fire off updates.  You see, when we (IT Only) upgaded to X from 9, the new 'protected mode' feature caught us off guard.  We assumed we had done something wrong with the packaging and so spent a few days making sure we crossed our t's and dotted our i's before escalating to the vendors.  And when we reached out they came back with a very simple "ohh yeah just check off a box", making us feel a bit foolish.  I wanted to be sure there wasn't some other new measure put in place to further try to secure Reader.
    As it turns out,
LexisNexis had to update their package for CaseMap 10 for Reader XI, and they have no plans to patch earlier versions.
Autonomy / Interwoven is set to release FileSite 8.5 SP3 Update 6 in Q1 which will support XI.
As you stated, vendors have to produce updates.

  • Does anyone know of good epublishing plug-ins that would allow me to stick with CS6?

    Hi,
Could someone please tell me what the best epublishing plug-ins are for ID CS6? I want to avoid using the cloud and would still like to have ebook tools available if it ever becomes a big business for me at some point. I vaguely remember hearing about some ebook plug-ins once but I didn't take note of them at the time.

  • Conatinually asks to update plug-ins that are already updated?

When I check my plugins, a few of them say to update due to vulnerability issues. Either some have been updated already and still ask to be updated or when they are actually updated and everything is refreshed, the plugins still show that they need to be updated.

You don't need to do anything since Java 7 Update 51 is not vulnerable (afaik) and is the recommended version offered at http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp and http://www.java.com/en/download/
If you check the "[http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp?detect=jre&try=1 Do I have Java?]" link at http://www.java.com/en/download/ and run the Java Detection applet it will tell you that you have the recommended Java installed (Version 7 Update 51).
