Hello, i have been using mac for a long time and bought a Mbp 1 year ago, but i am facing a big probleme atm and hope some of you could help me. To make a long story short i like gaming and want to plug my macbook pro into a screen i had a look at the screen on the market and choose one the only problem is i don t know what mini display adaptateur i should buy for the best quality cause they are like so many. I need you help to tell me which adaptateur is the best and will give me the best quality for gaming and what are the difference between all of them. I would like to know if you use the mini display vga adaptateur or the dvi or dual dvi or hdmi and with which screen. Please any reply are welcome and tell me if you got the same probleme.

No, the Mac only displays ONE menu bar also if you connect two monitors. You can select the monitor which should display the menu bar in System Preferences -> Displays.
Also there is a tool called Secondbar? But never tried it myself.

Leave the lid open when plugging a MBP into a 30inch?

I play games, watch video & really try and get the most out of my Macbook Pro. When I connect it to my 30inch ACD I usually leave the lid closed... but recently have been opening it once I plug it in, to try and help with heat.

Close it. If you leave it open the internal display will be lit and will display something, so you have to set it to Mirroring or Extended Display, but if you close it then the 30" gets the entire video card.
To prevent overheating, put the laptop on a hard surface so that air can flow under it, and do not block the large long vent that spans the entire back of the laptop. Whether it's open or closed isn't going to make as much difference as the airflow through the vent and past the bottom.

The screen does work though! Through trial and error along side a little troubleshooting, I was able to figure out that the screen will cut on after the phone dies completely. The phone has to die completely with no battery power left. Then if I plug the phone into a charge and wait a while for it to charge, the phone will turn on like nothing was ever even wrong with it. I charge the phone up to like 30% and turn it off then bam the phone turns on but the screen is solid black again.
I am currently in the process of waiting for the phone to die and when I turn the phone back on I am going to completely remove the auto-lock and lock code off of the phone for the time being.
Any other suggestions? Please help!

Sounds like the device was dropped at some point and damaged as a result.
Take it to Apple for evaluation and a replacement.

Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. Follow the steps in the article below for the specific error messages you have been receiving. If after following all steps the issue remains book an appointment at a local Apple Retail Store to have the iPhone evaluated.

A Restore first downloads a new copy of iOS to your computer. On a slow Internet connection this can take a long time. How fast is your connection? How long would you expect it to take to download 900 MB?
That's assuming nothing is interfering with the download. Some firewalls and antivirus programs will block the download or slow it down. So you should temporarily disable your security software. Security software can also block the update after the iOS download is complete.

You did install the latest iTunes (10.5) right? If the problem was that iTunes does not see the iPod try:

Three days ago I plugged the iPhone 4 into iTunes to update it, the OS began updating. During the update my computer went into sleep mode, interrupting the OS update. I've tried a hard reset (holding down power button/home button), plugging the phone into iTunes before/during holding down the home button, holding down the buttons for various lengths of time in various permutations according to info I've found online, etc, and nothing happens beyond a brief showing of the Apple logo and then back to the same screen. iTunes will make a connection noise when the phone is plugged in but otherwise makes no indication that a device is plugged in (no iPhone button in the tool bar, etc.). Any ideas or do I need to take it to an actual Apple store and hope they don't tell me it is completely bricked?

Yep, done all that. Repeatly. Don't get any sort of recovery mode message or the phone showing up on iTunes at all. iTunes is most current version, all diagnostics show everything fine, and it works fine with my current phone. Just....nothing.

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
Before you reinstall the Apple software, also remove iCloud vi Control Panel Remove programs. The reinstall the Apple programs

Hi. The two user tips both describe a sequence of steps that should get your library from the point where it threatens to wipe data from your device to where it is syncing normally, while recovering as much information as possible. It may still be necessary to wipe and reload the device but this should only take place once all the data that can be recovered has been recovered.
Doing step 1 of 8 and then complaining things aren't the way you want them to be yet strikes me as premature...
Since you appear to have all your media content, and we are discussing an iPod classic, not an iOS device, the main worries are already taken care of. What's left is ratings, playcounts, playlist membership and checked status. Since your device holds only part of your library at best you could only recover the missing data for the content that is on the device using third party tools.
Recreating the previous checked/unchecked status of every track in your library from where you are now may not be that easy. Syncing with selected playlists has many advantages, one of which would have been that you would have a named playlist that could have been retrieved by 3rd party software if you had used this method.
You haven't explained what caused your problem in the first place, but if you have a Previous iTunes Libraries folder holding old copies of your iTunes database (generated with each iTunes update) then it would be possible to restore the most recent of these and then update the library with any changes in your media folder.
BTW Apple doesn't offer free support for this kind of issue with iTunes.

Installed latest softward for my ipad 2 and now it want's me to connect to iTunes and restore to factory settings!? What do I do? I can't access the iPad2 other than a screen that shows a plug being inserted into the iTunes logo.

So I saw that my software needed to be updated, so I did it over wifi, then a picture with the plug being inserted into the iTunes logo appears on the screen when finished the install. I plug my iPad 2 into the connector and iTunes sees the iPad 2 connected. Then a window opens that says to restore to use iTunes. I click restore and a second message appears stating something to the effect "Are you sure you want to restore to factory setting all info will be lost."
NO I don't want to loose everything.
My iPad only powers on with the image of a cord pugging into the iTunes logo. I can't get past it and I don't want to restore the iPad 2 to factory settings.
What do I do?

I have been using my ipod for several years with no similar fault. What is the problem/solution?

I would first try resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Next would be to restore the iPod from backup
