If you're really trying to use Windows 2000, then that's the problem. As you'll see on the box, you need at least XP/SP3.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

If you bought an Apple gift card, then you cannot use it in the iTunes store. You can only use it in the Apple store for hardware.
You would need an iTunes gift card to buy anything in iTunes

Have you tried connecting it with an ethernet cord? It could be a wifi issue.

If the old ID is an earlier version of your new ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your new iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. You can now use your new password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
Note: this will not work if your new ID is an entirely new ID that was never previously associated with the old email address.

Changed my Apple ID email, but ICloud does not recognize my new login, only my old one (which is now non-existent) and requires the password to do anything. Everytime I go onto the ICloud page it shows my old email and requires the password, but I can't exactly type in a password because that won't work. I can't find a way to change my email or delete ICloud.

If the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, do the following:
Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) It's not currently possible to permanently delete any items from your purchase history, all you can do is hide them so that they don't appear in the Purchased tab : hiding and unhiding. If your iPad is on iOS 6 then you will need to do it via your computer's iTunes.

Also, I can not afford an expensive camera and need some advice on which of the available cameras would be best and also work well with a Mac. One last issue, I currently use a Panasonic #CCD camera that takes a tape. When I load video to Final Cut the audio and video are out of sinc. Go figure. Can anyone help with these questions. Karen

If you are using Final Cut Express, then look for camcorders that are AVCHD camcorders. Look especially for the AVCHD logo and specific mention of AVCHD in the specs. Most of the major manufacturers produce good quality camdcorders - Canon, Sony, etc.
Also, be aware that there are a lot of "not quite AVCHD" camcorders on the market (sometimes they say they record video as MPEG4-H.264/AVC) - buyer beware!
Most everything you are going to find on the market today is HD, which stands for "high-def".
Regarding your question about the Panasonic camcorder, it's best if you post that as a separate question, and please identify the specific model camcorder and the Easy Setup you are using in FCE.

The reset link will show on your account if you have a rescue email address on it, if you only have alternate email addresses then it won't show.
If the country where you and your iTunes account are isn't on this page (you need to be in a country to use its store) : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
then you can try contacting support via this page and explain that you've forgotten your answers, don't have a rescue email address, and your country isn't on the HT5699 page and see what they reply with : https://ssl.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html
