My iPod Classic is seen by Windows but not by iTunes. I have reset it, gone to disk mode and it won't show up in iTunes. There appears to be music on it in a file called MUSICSAVE. How can I get this to work with iTunes again?
1. Update iTunes to the latest version. Plug in your iPod. If iTunes still can't recognize it, then in iTunes in the top left corner click help> run diagnostics. On the box that comes up, check the last two things. Click next and it should identify your iPod.
2. Click on your windows start menu. Type in "services". Click on it and when it pops up, on the bottom of it click on "standard". Now Scroll down to find "Apple Mobile Device" Right click it when you see it and click on "Start". When it has started, close iTunes and replug in your iPod and it should show up.
3. Check the USB cable
4 Verify that Apple Mobile Device Support is installed
5. Restart the Apple Mobile Device Service and verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed.
6. If you just want to add some photos, songs and movies from computer to your devices, you can use an iTunes alternative to do the job
7. Check for third-party software conflicts.

I tried updating to iso 8.0.2 and now my iPad is stuck in recovery mode and will not do anything. it will not reset.
RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.
3. Repeat the process if necessary. -

It needs to be restored by someone. You can do it, and set it up as a new phone, or the buyer can do it.

One computer iTunes can support multiple Apple IDs. One iPod can also support multiple IDs. Don't do an "erase and sync." Simply add your Apple ID to the computer's iTunes and to the iPod. The only nuisance is app updating, especially if you do the updates from the computer, rather than from the iPod.

It may well be a driver issue but considering the loading: Xorg trying to load different drivers is somewhat normal. @cafe you can see that these are autoconfigured by X above the loading in the log:

I dont know what else to say about it. I updated and now all this is happening and it didnt before my update to Firefox5. I have several site I use daily and I have gone in and marked them to allow popups and they just dont work. The sites are My Yearbook...Kia Financeing...and a few more. And also I am finding that I get a no response a lot!
I am sorry you are not in a position to replace the iPad. It is stating the obvious, but nothing lasts forever - especially something like an original iPad. IMHO, there is nothing you can do to address the issues you have posted about.

I had my iphone 4 stolen and have been lent an iphone 3G, I have tried to restore the phone but its coming up with error 1015 and wont restore. I have the current Itunes software on my computer and there are no further updates to be done. Please help

While I was asleep I believe my Macbook Pro downloaded some new software, I turned it on this morning and now I have this black screen with letter inside of it that says whatever is inside of it to me. It is very annoying as if I am online it will describe everything to me and move my screen. I am a student and cannot work or research when my computer does this. After I updated from CS6 to CC 2014, my screen started to display blue lines and/or a blue imprint of a previously closed window, and Premiere CC 2014 and AE CC 2014 began crashing after about five minutes of use. Also, an error message popped up telling me to update my CUDA driver. I took the iMac into Apple and after updating the CUDA driver in store with an Apple associate, the error message went away. They were concerned about the blue lines, and after 3 days of hardware testing, they determined that the screen was not failing, the hardware was in great shape and the lines and crashing must be a software related issue. I took the computer home, uninstalled and reinstalled AE using the appropriate installer, and rebooted. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere using the Premiere installer and rebooted again. During the second restart a blue imprint of the Google Chrome window I had had open before the reboot was imprinted over the welcome/password screen. I typed in my password, opened up the Premiere project I'd been working on and immediately, the always dramatic message "A serious issue as occurred..." popped up. I tried opening it again, saved a new recovery copy and started to work on the project. Five minute later it froze up and I had to force quit. This happened two more times, both roughly after five minutes of use....back to square one.
Obviously, this is seriously hurting my workflow. Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated!... a blue imprint of the Google Chrome window I had had open before the reboot was imprinted over the welcome/password screen.
The apple guys said this wasn't a hardware error? I don't know software errors to save imprints throughout a restart. If I were to live dangerously and assume anything it would be that you got a failing graphics processor.
Ever tried cloning your boot drive and then doing a complete wipe and re-install of OS and CC? -

New ram installed and now have black screen then it shutsdown
ive installed an extra 2gb of ram on hp630 notebook and when i turn on it has a black screen then shuts down after 1 minute. i think maybe one of the slots dont work as the original 2gb ram that in it works in one slot but not the other . so when i put the 2gb ram in i get black screen then shut down but its the same it works in the bottom slot but not the top. any help would be a massive help.

Seems to be an issue with the Memory slot which need to replaced. In case if you unit is still cover by the warranty i would request you to call HP Technical support and get the System Board replaced.
