Plugged in my new iPhone to charge before letting battery drain to 0%. Did I ruin it?
I plugged in my new iPhone 6 to charge before letting the battery drain to 0%. It was at about 86% when I plugged it in to my computer to restore everything from my previous phone and then left it to charge to 100%. Will my battery be ruined because of my failure to let it drain before charging it? Pls help!!
You aren't supposed to let it drain fully before charging it - in fact, repeatedly doing so can damage the battery.
Charge it whenever it is convenient for you. Try to avoid running it all the way out unless necessary.
Apple does recommend running it out about once per month, and you can also run it to 0% if the battery gauge seems to be incorrect.

If so that is not the charger ,that is the cable

I have a new powerbook and want to give my girlfriend my old G4 power book, she has a new iphone 5s, and wants to create a new itunes/apple id. When i try to de authorize the G4 and sign in with her new apple ID it says bad password, how can i release the G4 from my cluster of authorized apples and make her the owner so she can download music and more importantly sync her music with her phone, she only has 3 songs on her iphone, and loaded all her CD's into the g4 but cant sync, im no dummy and this shouldnt be hard, but its driving me crazy!!!!!!

The iPhone 5, the Wall Charger, and the Lightning Cable are all covered by the 1 year Warranty. Make Genius reservation and take all 3 to Apple so the problem can be sorted and resolved.

When I plug my iPad up to charge it says not charging, and my battery drains very quickly what can I do to fix?
There are two different types of adapters by Apple that look similar. One is a 5 Watt adapter used with iPhones and iPods. The other is a 10 Watt adapter used with the iPad. Other than looking at the text on the adapter, which is hard to read, you can tell the different by looking at the socket the pin part plugs into the adapter. The 5 Watt has two notches and the 10 Watt has only one notch.
Make sure you use the 10 Watt adapter with an iPad. -

Iphone 4s 2 months old battery drains
my iphone 4s is 2 months old and the battery goes from 100% to dead within 2 hours.. the problem started this weekend.. using version 5.1.1 Location services are off, brightness is at 40%. I haven't downloaded any new apps..
Restore iPhone with iTunes on computer. At end when prompted, Set Up as New iPhone. See if the battery is better. If still problem, all iPhone 4S have full Warranty, make Genius reservation and take to Apple for resolution.

I just got 1st MBP and wanted to know whats best? Let battery drain to 15%- 20% then recharge to full...or.... when near a wall unit, keep it plugged in?
It makes no real difference although if you are near a wall outlet it makes sense to run from the AC adaptor. However, if you always run from the AC adaptor then periodically you want to use the battery so it is in use or once every couple of months do this: Apple Portables- Calibrating your computer's battery for best performance.

How long do you need to charge a new iPhone 5 for before trying to turn it on?
I received a new iphone 5 in the post today to replace the ne I had smashed the screen on.
I was told that I would need to charge the phone and then insert my SIM and it would be good to go.
The phone has been on charge since 14:00 and still wont turn on (tried when still on charge and off charge).

I bought and downloaded pinball acade from itunes in the last year. I bought all in app puchases possible ( all pinball machines). Downloading them to my itouch an ipad as necessary. Sometimes they would crash and I would simply reload them. I bought a new iphones this week and while putting this app on my
new phone (with in app puchases) I noticed my balance on my Itunes account was going down faster than my gas tank. They were charging me again I contacted Apple and Itunes and they told me it was not there problem and I needed to contact Pinballarcade.com. That is like buying a washing machine from Sears and after having problems, they tell me to contact Kenmore. I have bought thousands in music and apps over the years. I will start switching to other services in the future. I also have an occupation that allows me to interact with the public. Whenever the opportunity allows, I will tell them of my experiences.
I did try to contact pinballarcade.com, but the website is not working, and I am running out of patience.The Same thing happened to me! I lost about 15 Tables from all first 3 seasons and I contacted their shoddy support email, and got a response saying that I should do this that and the other thing and I followed their advice only to get the same result....All of those table are still only available to me if I purchase them! I am so upset, I think I lost about $60.00 in purchases for which I have all my receipts for....Anyone know an answer? No snarky replies please, what do you have to gain from that..I'm sure we've all been screwed by in-app purchases before and you know what a shock it is. Thanks in Advance!

My old iPhone died, so I just got a new one. I am hooking it up to my computer for the first time. The iTunes on my computer doesn't show any devices as being hooked up to the computer when I plug in my iPhone. Yet my iPhone is charging so I know it is connected to the computer. Any suggestions on how to get my iTunes to recognize the new device? Thanks
Make sure that your music is in the format supported by the iPhone. I use either MP3 or AAC.
A friend had the same problem a while back. All his music was in the WMA format and is therefore not playable on the iPhone and would not copy. Once he converted his songs to MP3 they copied to his iPhone without problem.
