Plugged my iPad into old computer now my cord won't let me charge ?
Ok we have 3 iPads in our house.
My son plugged the iPad into a computer and was able to put music on through iTunes .
Now when I try to use that cord with the wall charger it doesn't seem to work?
It still works for transferring data from the computer. But refuses to charge it.
Any ideas?
I also tried another cord and it's doing the same thing, now we are down to 1 charging cord for 3 iPads , not cool :(
Any ideas?
Yeah it's weird.
I did reset the iPad/s with home and power button. Didn't work :(
They worked fine until I plugged them into the computer.
They now won't charge any iPad :(
I appreciate all the ideas and suggestions .
Thank you

If I download like Angry Birds, but then delete it before I plug my iPad into the computer, will the app still show up?
If you delete it then no, it won't appear on your iPad or on your computer's iTunes (unless you have automatic downloads turned 'on') - but you can re-download it for free (as long as it remains available in the store and you use the same iTunes account).

When you plug your ipad into your computer is it meant to charge?
When you plug your ipad into your computer is it meant to charge ?
Not necessarily...
iPad Charging
"The fastest way to charge your iPad is with the included USB Power Adapter.
iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter.
When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge, but only when it's in sleep mode.
Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain." -

I've started plugging my iPhone into a different computer at work that is authorized. But the iTunes on this computer won't allow me to edit the playlists. What do I need to change?
If you're running Windows 8.1, this seems to be a common theme, or some variation there of at least. Myself, I can't even back-up on my iPhone 4S which has iOS 7.1.2 and I'm running iTunes 11.3.0.54 and have resorted to purchased the iTunes Match service to ensure that music on my primary desktop PC (which is paired to my iPhone) will be available on both the iPhone and my Windows 8.1 laptop. Regarding backing up of the iPhone, I'm thinking about going to a third party solution until either Apple and/or Microsoft can figure out why Windows 8.1 is having so many problems with the current version of iTunes (as of this writing 11.3.0.54).

Old computer crashed and iTunes won't let me sync my old iPod
My old computer crashed and when I plug my old iPod into my new computer, iTunes asks me if I'd like to erase all the music from the iPod and copy whatever music I have within my new iTunes. I lost a lot of my c.d.'s when I moved, so I don't want to do that. How do I get all my music from my old iPod onto my new computer?
Hello Justin,
And welcome to Apple Discussions!
See this article for instructions on how manually copy the contents of your iPod back over to your new computer. Even though the article mentions Vista and XP, Windows 7 should be similar to Vista.

Otherwise, see this older post by Zevoneer for countless other ways to copy it back over.

Can you plug an ipad into the computer USB port to charge it?
You can plug it into a computer but it will be a very very slow charge. The best thing to do is go to any office / electronics store and get a new charger.
