Plugged my Touch into my dad's Mac, all of my Wi-Fi purchases disappeared.

I was with my dad at his work and my iPod Touch was dying, so I plugged it into his Mac to charge. When I unplugged it some while later, I went to start my favorite playlist with a certain song, as I always do, that had been purchased over the WiFi music store. However, to my dismay, the song was not there. So, I went to look for my Purchased playlist, which was also missing. In confusion, I went to the WiFi store and clicked downloads, only to find an empty list.
It seems that plugging my Touch into an unauthorized computer deleted all of my purchased music - is there a way for me to get them back?

For future reference,
Every time you plug your Touch into any computer or laptop, you ALWAYS have to transfer the purchases from your iPod to iTunes. To do this click file>transfer purchases from " " iPod.
Why you have to do this, I don't know.

Confused: You say nothing will "catch" in the slot, which I take to mean the optical drive won't accept anything. Just spits it out. Then you say you thought there was an eject button to push, which would imply there's a stuck disc inside.
If it's the latter, try holding down the mouse while booting.

No and Yes
Don't use TM for this purpose, clone your drive to an external, plug the external into another MBP and reboot from it. Please note that booting a machine that came with Lion may not be possible from a drive with Snow Leopard.

Plugged iPod Touch into computer, lost music

I plugged my iPod into my computer to sync it, and I lost almost all my music. They say they're in my iPod library, but come up faded with a red stop button within a circle for almost all of them. I have no idea what to do. I tried to re-add them to it, but it doesn't work at all.

It sounds like your Touch is set to auto-sync and it is set to sync as soon as you connect it to iTunes. Even if you log out of your BF's account and log into yours, you can lose the contents of your Touch if it tries to auto-sync to his library. You'd be prompted to back up purchased content on your Touch to his computer, but any non-purchased material would be erased.
My recommendation is to prevent the auto-sync and then change your Touch to manual management, that way it won't try to sync to your BF's library (thus erasing some or all of your contents).
To prevent the auto-sync in iTunes for Windows, start iTunes but do not connect your Touch. Press and hold the Ctrl and Shift keys as you connect your Touch -- *keep holding the Ctrl and Shift keys on the computer until you see your Touch show up in the left column of iTunes*. Once you see the Touch's name on the left, you can release the Ctrl and Shift keys.
Next, click on the Touch's name so that you see the big picture of the Touch in iTunes. On that page select the option "Manually Manage Music and Video" and then click the "Apply" button. That way your contents will not be erased.
You should now be able to safely connect your Touch to any iTunes library without losing its contents. At this point you can log out of your BFs account and log into yours if you want to buy stuff on your account, but that is optional. You can drag and drop stuff from your BFs library to your Touch without being logged into your account.

When you say installed iTunes I am guessing that its just the program and not your old library? in which case when you connect your iphone you will get a message warning you that you will be replacing the data on the iphone with the library on the new laptop i.e. an empty itunes.
If this is the case what you need to do is on your old laptop,
1: open itunes and go into preference/settings and go to advanced and make sure that consolidate and keep organised are checked.
2: Then go to file and click consolidate library.
3: close itunes and then go to start and open "My Music" folder.
4: Drag the iTunes folder out of My music and put it on an external drive or network the 2 laptops.
5: on the new laptop open "My Music" folder and drag out to the desk top the itunes folder
6: from the external drive or network drang and drop the old iTunes library into the "My Music" folder on the new laptop.
now close it and restart iTunes and your old library should be visable and when you connect your iphone it will identify its the correct library to sync with.

Only purchases appear because they are coming Apple's own copy keeps on the Internet when it sees you have connected a computer without the purchases. Anything else has to be transferred by you.
Moving an entire library: Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its sub-folders and files) intact to the other drive. Hold down the option (alt) key (shift on Windows) and open iTunes. At the prompt to create or choose a library choose the copied iTunes folder.
When this is to a new computer put the copied iTunes folder in the default location of Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name* > Music then you don't even need to start with the option key held down, iTunes will automatically look for it there. (Make sure there isn't anything already in the iTunes folder there that you want to keep since you will be replacing it with the one you are moving.)

If that's the case then isn't there a special web site for developers to discuss issues (and they are not supposed to discuss them on the public forum)? If you're not a developer and have this through unofficial channels then I'm not sure you can expect full functionality.

Did you set up your phone to sync Contacts with iCloud? If not sure, you can log in to https://www.icloud.com and see if your contacts are there.

You buy one and only one download. It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your music.
You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception, but they are under no obligation to allow.

You did install the latest iTunes (10.5) right? If the problem was that iTunes does not see the iPod try:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
or
