Plugging your rMBP even if having 100% battery?

Hi! is it safe to plug your macbook even if you already have 100% battery? someone told me its better that way to prevent adding up cycle charges? is true, safe? Thanks a lot! apple newbie here!!

So am I - at least 90% of the time: wasn't this way until I bought my 27" Apple Thunderbolt Display... now I'm at my desk most of the time. But I'll occasionally unplug to take the machine to another room in the house (and I've basically three adapters - two normal MagSafe adapters and one MagSafe adapter on my ATD) and I have a charger in both spots where I'm usually 'laptopping'.
Good luck - I think that you'll be just fine as long as you remember to let your machine discharge about every two weeks or so.

Yoga 2 Pro "plugged in, charging" even when running on battery

A few weeks ago, my Yoga 2 Pro entered a permanent "plugged in, charging" state whether plugged in or running on just the battery. The battery drains as normal, it just always shows the plugged in icon. It also charges as normal. When I turn it off, the "plugged in" LED remains lit even after I unplug the power cord. Anyone else have similar issues? I'm tempted to rewrite the BIOS and see if this fixes it. Thanks for the help!

My ipad wont wake up? When I plug into my mac it shows 100% battery and all my app's? What is going on.

My ipad all of a sudden won't wake up? I plugged it into my mac desktop and it shows it as if it is awake, all my programs are intact, it updated and sinc'd, but no response when not plugged in. How do I wake it up? Do I need to reset it or something or is there a light in it that can be replaced? No idea what is going on. No damage or drop has occurred.

There was a run of bad batteries for the iPhone 5. Apple will replace them if your phone qualifies and you haven't tried to fix it yourself. See: iPhone 5 Battery Replacement Program - Apple Support. Unfortunately, you may have disqualified yourself if you tried to repair it yourself.

Does anyone having any battery problem?

i went to the apple store this morning and reserve a genius bar appointment, so i went back a few hrs ago to tell them my problems with my iPhone 4.
1. my battery dies faster when its not lock.
he turns off all of my notifications "off" and my turns off my push data for my email. i text my sister a few mins after and she says her notifications are "on" and it doesnt drain her batter at all.
2. i get drop calls as well
so he plugs in my iphone to his macpro to analyze the problem with the "drop calls", it shows none the past 2 weeks, but this past Saturday I was getting dropped calls like crazy.
3. multi-task freezes when i delete apps (so i lock my iPhone to un-freeze it)
he didnt get a chance to explain cuz i forgot to tell him lol
im pretty sure this guy didnt know what he was talking about.
back to the question.. does anyone having any battery problem?

If you are using your iPhone a great deal, the battery will drain. A combination of things will drain the battery in a rapid pace. Even with the new battery size, it'll drain but at an increased amount of time added.
* Internet 3D gaming
* Internet RPG basic
* Internet browsing with music
* Texting with music
* Internet based Videos (YouTube, HTML5 Quicktime, etc)
* Music and local tasks
* 2D or 3D Navigation with live-GPS enabled
* Push Notifications, Push Mail
* Background, FAS, and file transfer multitasking with every bit of RAM used to continue
etc
A handful of combined tasks will rapidly drain the battery. I usually recommend having chargers handy in home, car, and work as I do the same bit.

Powerbook G4 dies when running and unplug AC adapter even though have new battery and shows fully 100% charged. Also when shutdown, won't fully start without AC adapter being plugged in. When in sleep mode then can unplug power adapter and be able to wake and run on battery. Have tried resetting power management unit with no success

Hi, Alan, and welcome to Apple Discussions. Some questions for you:
What does System Profiler have to say about your fully-charged new battery's full charge capacity and current capacity?
Have you tested your internal backup battery?
How long can you ordinarily run the Powerbook on a full battery charge, if you unplug the adapter while it's sleeping?
Have you tested the Powerbook using a different, known-good AC adapter to see whether that makes any difference in the PB's behavior when you unplug it?
Is your adapter's plug deformed in any way?
Is the DC-In port on the Powerbook wobbly, i.e. does it move noticeably if you gently push sideways or up and down on the adapter plug when it's connected to the port?

Did you purchase the Mac new?
You have 14 calendar days from the time your items are delivered to initiate a return as noted here.
Even though you are past the 14 day limit, if it were me, I'd take the Mac back and explain what's going on. Your Mac should work out of the box.

My iPad mini is stuck at 100% battery life (HELP!)

My ipad mini has been stuck on 100% battery life all day and when I unplug it, it dies shortly after. I have to keep it plugged it to use it but it gets annoying.
Its been stuck on 100% and has not gone down yet !
I have tried turning it off, rebooting it, I checked my settings to see if I have done anything wrong, but nothing is working!
Any suggestions on what I should do to solve this problem?

Suggestion 1: Run the device completely dead - and then recharge it.
Suggestion 2: Restore the device to factory settings (backup first).
Suggestion 3: Apple Genius Bar or Contact Apple support for a diagnostic test.

Experia X - phone switches off even after charges 100%

I have an experia Z and even after charging the battery to 100% the phone switches off after I remove the charger. I have to keep the phone continuously on charging to ensure that it remains on. Is it a battery or a software issue?I have android software version 5.0.2 and phone model no is C6602.Please help...

I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..

my ipod touch is not responding when i plugged it in even with a different cord and restarting my computer and i am using my moms itunes that she has had for a long time and so i cant uninstall itunes.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

How can we tell if the iphone is already fully charged in ios7? Even if its 100% the thunderbolt icon is still displayed. Not like in ios 6 that we will know when to unplug the charger because there is an indicator.

For those who seem unfamiliar with what is being asked:
On iOS 6 and older, just because the phone reached 100%, didn't mean it was Fully Charged. The way you could tell was the lightning bolt symbol that indicated the device was charging would change to an outlet plug when the device was not only 100%, but also stopped accepting further charge. This symbol switch would occur anywhere from 5-15 minutes after the device already was displaying 100%.
Now, on iOS 7, while it still reaches 100% with that same lightning bolt charge symbol, during the 100% point, it never switches to the plug symbol to indicate the charge period is totally finished.
Can anyone confirm if there is a way to see this charge completion in iOS 7 since it appears that there is no longer a symbol for it? Is there any indication that Apple may have changed the charging display so that now it only displays 100% when it would have previously displayed that plug symbol?

Your Apple TV may have become paired with another remote. Hold the remote close to and pointed at the Apple TV, hold down the menu and Rewind buttons together for 6 seconds or until you see a broken chain icon on screen.

Ipad shuts off and restarts after 3 to 4 minutes even with a full battery.

My Ipad will shut off after 3 to 4 minutes even with a full battery and whether it is being used or not. then it will power up again on its own. This also occurs when the charger is connected and when I have it connected to my computer.

First try to Reset all settings if this does not fix the issue - No data Loss
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
If Not You need to restore the Device - Data Loss
