Plugin & Motion Issues

I recently upgraded to CS3 from a trial version to a full version; while working on a project I have many effects that I use as well as motion effects; however everytime I exit the project and restart the project I have to disable and reable the plugin or motion to get it to work then render. This has been very painstaking and time consuming does anyone have any ideas, I thought it might because the project was first started in a trial version.

Have you tried re-installing the app? If so, give Adobe Tech Support a call.

  • Plugin-container issue. Works in v 3.6 but not in 12.0

So im having a issue here.
I love the 3.6.28 Firefox version as its simple and fastest for my Slow PC.
I though installed the new 12.0 version as FF decided not to support 3.6 anymore and was hugely disappointed with how slow it is.
    Anyway my issue:
Ive disabled plugin container in 3.6 due to eating up my RAM.
    Settings: http://kb.mozillazine.org/images/Fx366-OOPP.PNG
Installed FF 12.0 and i now suddenly i see 2x plugin container running at the same time. When i disable it again the same way i did in v 3.6 I cant play my favourite game anymore as its all grey when the game launches. Its called Quakelive.com and is runned through the web. So i went back to v 3.6.
Can i work around this somehow? I dont like having the plugin container eating my RAM. And the point it actually did work in the earlier version 3.6 it should work now?
What i want is do disable plugin container and still be able to run flash, java etc just like the way i have in v 3.6.
I hope someone has an idea. Thanks!

I forgot to ask you. What is your Java version? It is possible a old version of Java on your system is being blocked by Firefox because of some security risk.
So if you could could go to:
    '''Tools > Add-ons > Plugins'''
And tell me what version of Java you have there. If you have more than one, tell me all of them. Thanks
Don't update your Java before letting me know what version you have first. That way I know for sure what Java version was causing your problem.
    To update Java:
    <br> http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
    '''Edit:'''
<br> It looks like you have Java 6 update 32, which isn't old. But they also released Java SE 7 Update 4 at the same time. Supposedly Java 7 has more features/improvements. I wonder if the Quake Live people updated their Java to Java 7. Hopefully installing Java 7 works and doesn't cause a new problem.

  • MainStage playback plugin tempo issue

I am having problems with importing audio into a playback plugin.
I understand that the audio file needs to be exported from Logic X as a CAF file.  I have done this, and then imported it into the playback plugin in Mainstage3.
I have ensured that the tempo of the song in MainStage is at the appropriate level i.e. in this case a patch, which has been set to the tempo of the original song in logic.
I have also synced the loop in the playback plugin, and set snap to beat.
The problem is, it doesn't play at the same speed as the metronome i.e. as the tempo of the patch in MainStage.  The result is that it plays too fast, and pitch shifts with adjustment.  I have used all the flexitime options, but ultimately this is trying to put a small plaster on a large open wound.
As a test of sanity, I have also exported as AIFF and wav.  No joy there either.  I have even opened the resultant AIFF file in iTunes, and it DOES play at the correct tempo.
Does anyone know a solution to this problem, or if not, of another playback plugin for MainStage that actually might work properly!!!??
    Thanks

Although I still have no idea what causes this problem I do have a work around for anyone else who happens to experience this same problem.
As I am not the creator of the loops, I cannot recreate them, so my only option is to "convert" them from *.wav to *.wav using FormatFactory on my work computer (MS Windows).
For some reason, the files end up a few bytes smaller, but they play to the end with no issues.
I would love to know what changes are being made during the conversion, but at the moment, I don't have the time to "debug" the situation.
    Cheers

  • Firefox crashing---most likely related to the plugin container issue, but also unable to uninstall firefox, there is no prompt that opens when I try to.

Like many others, I've been having issues with firefox since the update. The plugin container seems to crash my browser, or freeze the whole of my computer, and I must restart. I've switched to internet explorer for now.
Moreover, now Firefox doesn't even seem to open now. I doubleclick on the icon, or try to launch the browser in any way, and it looks like it thinks about opening, but nothing ever occurs. I've watched my system processes, and firefox.exe appears for a moment, and then disappears, like its process has ended, but I've done nothing.
Additionally, I can't even seem to uninstall firefox---the uninstall setup doesn't open, and trying to do it from add/remove programs on windows xp doesn't seem to work either.
I also sometimes get an error that says windows can't find a file/path, related to a 'profile' but haven't had that for a day or so---since I can't even open firefox now.

  • Apache2.2 Plugin configuration issue with Weblogic 9.2

    Hi All,
We are trying to configure apache plugin for weblogic 9.2 (Apache Proxying for Weblogic) in Solaris Spark. When we are testing the httpd.conf configuration using apachectl configtest we are getting following error.
httpd: Syntax error on line 80 of /data/httpserv/apache-2.2.10/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load /data/httpserv/apache-2.2.10/modules/mod_wl_22.so into server: ld.so.1: httpd: fatal: /data/httpserv/apache-2.2.10/modules/mod_wl_22.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32
We were using the mod_wl_22.so file provided for Solaris/Spark in the link mentioned below.
    http://download.oracle.com/otn/bea/weblogic/server103/server103_apacheplugins.zip
Apache 2.2.10 installation that we are using is a 64-bit version. It seems mod_wl_22.so provided in the above link for solaris/spark is a 32-bit version. Is it possible to get a 64bit version of this library?
Anybody has worked on same/similar kind of issues? Is there any workaround, for this?
Input/thoughts from anyone is highly appreciated

Hello, I'm not an expert at confugring Apache and WebLogic servers. Hopefully someone else who does know what they are doing will reply to your question.
I found your question because I am also working on an Apache / WebLogic install for an Ariba installation (in Windows 7).
However I did support a configuration of WebLogic on Solaris with Apache. I remember that the guy who did the Apache install mentioned that Apache needed to be compiled correctly - below is what he sent:
    Apache server compilation options:
    ./configure prefix=/usr/local/apache_2.0.63 enable-mods-shared=all enable-ssl=shared enable-ssl with-ssl=/usr/local/ssl enable-proxy enable-proxy-connect enable-proxy-http --with-mpm=worker
I am still looking into the differences between the plugins (mod 22 so vs mod 20 so). Navigating the Oracle download options can be bewildering. I found the link to download a full zip file of plugins (below).
Oracle WebLogic Server Web Server Plugins 1.1
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/ias/downloads/wls-plugins-096117.html
    I clicked on "all versions."
Does the WLSPlugin1.1-64bitApache2.2-solaris-sparc.zip contain what you need?
    Great luck to you!

  • Slow Motion Issues FCP (not PAL issue)

    Hi,
I have researched this, and it seems it is a common problem, with many contradictory answers. I have FCP NTSC, and am uploading HDV. When I slow it down, it becomes jittery and choppy. I hear this was an issue in the PAL version, but it seems to be an issue with my editing as well. We shot it in 60i by the way. Unfortunately I don't have any other associated programs, just FCP 5 (so no ProRes, though I would like to get my hands on it). Anyhoo, some good input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Bare in mind that you are trying to make less frames persist over a longer duration. When you do a slow motion adjustment, you have to duplicate frames, which makes your footage look steppy. I have found that anything more than about 75% of the original speed looks quite choppy. Frame blending will cover a little bit, but when you look at overcranked footage and compare the two, you can really see the difference. If you use Shake or Motion for the slow-mo, you can utilize the optical reflow machine which will create interpolated frames to help with the missing information.

  • After Effects: "You have this plugin twice" issue SOLVED

Do you get problems in After Effects telling you that you have more than one time a plug-in, installed on your system? What After Effects does, is to scanning the Plug-ins and presets every time it opens, if you by mistake installed one plug-in two times, you will get an error telling you that you may have an issue working with this plug-in and, is better that you close After Effects and uninstall this plug-in. Well my friend gave me few plug-ins that he had, but it seems like I had some already installed. Every time I opened my After Effects for each plugin I had two times installed, it was stopping the scanning and informing me about the situation. It was really annoying to click too many times on “OK”. So I came up with an answer.
) First go to directory where your After effects is installed. Usually it is: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects CS4.
) Go to “Support Files” folder and then to “Plug-ins”
) If you are using Vista or 7, use the search box on the right top corner of you window, if you are on XP, use the search button and click “find files and folders” (I don’t actually remember if it is like this)
) Then search “*.*” without the quotes (This will scan your folder and will show you all the files inside the Plugins folder)
) Look carefully to see the plugins icon (easy to recognize) and the name of the plugin, if you see a plugin name two times, that is the plugin that cause you the problem.
) Right click on one of the two and delete it.
) You can also follow the other way. When after effects pop up this problem with the plugin issue, it will tell you the actual name of the plugin, write down the name on a paper if you can’t remember, close after effects, navigate to the Plugin folder, and search specific for the plugin with this name. You will notice that it will appear twice. Delete one of these plugins.
) BE CAREFULL, DO NOT EMPTY THE RECYCLE BIN YET.
) First open After Effects, and see if the problem is solved. Use the Plugin on an SOLID or ADJUSTMENT layer, and when you are sure that everything is all right, you can empty the recycle bin.
I know that maybe this is not a big deal and maybe everybody can came up with this idea to solve the problem, but you never know if a person is really need a help on this.

  • Plugin legal issues

    Hi,
Could anyone instruct me as to what legal issues there are (if any) in regard to actually selling an AE plugin? Is there any documentation on this? Or agreements that need to be made with Adobe?
Also, i'd be interested to know if there was any such issues with selling project files, for example, if you had a collection of project files you'd created you wanted to sell to the general public.
    Regards

Legal issues: None! Go for it!
Just NEVER ship any files from WITHIN the SDK. See the copyright blurb at the top of each file, for details.
Build with the headers; don't SHIP the headers.

  • Aperture to Lightroom plugin storage issue

The plugin doesn't seem to refresh the available storage space number when changed to an external drive that has plenty of space. As my aperture libraries are both 250GB and I'm on a macbook with about 70gb remaining, it causes a bit of an issue.
    Any thoughts?

Very sorry about the late reply.  Was having issues posting to the forum and forgot to come back.
What I'd do is relocate all your managed images to "referenced" on the same 4tb drive.  In doing so, make sure you choose a folder/file convention that will match the physical structure you'd like to see in Lightroom.  This choice is not mandatory, but is helpful.  Note: If you convert managed images, they'd just wind up in one locatino.
I should have asked what size your Aperture library is.  If you have space for all your images a second time over, then yes, you should not be seeing this error.  But if you're using the plugin on a library with many managed images, the plug-in needs to copy those images, even if it's on the same drive, to a location outside your Aperture library.  That's why it's helpful to relocate them as "referenced" images before the conversion.

  • Firefox crashes: Plugin-Container Issue

After the second-to-last update, I started noticing an increase in browser crashes. The issue is always that the Plugin-Container has stopped working. I understand that the plugin container's function is to prevent such problems, but it does not appear to be working. I have the latest version of Firefox, updates, etc, but that doesn't seem to be helping. Crash reports have been sent to Mozilla, but the problem is ongoing. I use my browser heavily in both standard and incognito mode for business. I've used Firefox for a long time, but if I keep losing information mid-process, I'm going to have to consider other options. If anyone has any experience with the problem or suggestions on a possible solution, that would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

Tumblr.com. The way the site is set up, I don't believe it shuts down images, etc, once you've loaded and passed them. It's endless scrolling, so that could potentially be a lot of loaded data.

  • Background fill scale to fit scroll motion issue. Please help...

I am having an issue with the background fill. I am using an image at least 2500px wide. It seems that when I have scrolling checked, the image scales to fit the browser normally when I preview the page. However, if I turn scrolling off, when previewing the page, the background image shrinks from 30-50% and no longer scales to fit. As soon as I go back, check scrolling again, it then scales to fit as normal.  This also happens if I have scrolling checked and then set initial and final motion to 0. It again shrinks the background image and stops scaling to fit. As soon as I put any value in the initial and final motion, it again shrinks the image.
When doing the above same thing on a master page, using the same image, even with scrolling checked, the image doesn't scale to fit.
This brings me to a second issue. The custom scrolling on the background isn't working. No matter what I set the values to, the browser always scrolls the back ground image up, even if I change the rate or direction, it stays at 1 and in the up motion.
    How can I fix this??
    Thank you!

This is due to the fact of image size and scroll setup with fill, Please check this post which includes a similar discussion :

  • Firefox 10 & jquery cycle plugin transparency issues

We have been using the jquery cycle plugin on many sites and after Firefox 10 was released we are noticing a solid black box appearing over the slides during the transitions.
    What happens:
    transition starts
    image area turns solid black
next image fades in from black color
In other browsers (FF9.x and under, IE7+, Chrome, Safari) the transition would be from one slide to the next and not from black to the next slide.
Does anyone have an explanation for this? Thank in advance.

You're welcome. We have very few support helpers who are anywhere near as familiar with web development issues and Firefox, as that particular forum over at MozillaZine. This forum has only existed for about 4 years now, where MozillaZine was founded in 1998, just a few months after Mozilla.Org was founded. The original audience was Mozilla developers, both Netscape employees and outsiders. Later on, web developers and end users started using MozillaZine fora for a wide variety of discussions and help for Mozilla products.

    Hi,
This is not issue with Weblogic.
It seems that your app is using direct provider directly.
for this you u can include this driver under classpath and restart the server once and try to access your app whether they can able to access your DB or not.

Can anybody please point me to the right place to look for a howto kind of doc
on how to create a new plugin. The e-docs section that i am using is very tailored
to sampleplugin and it doesn't talk about things at a generic level.
If somebody has a working plugin, Please send me your config files.
    Munish
    [plugin.jar]

did you change all the deployment orders for a reason? it might be
something to do with that. your plugin should should be deployed before
the system tries to locate all the plugins (i am not sure which bean
does this, but try moving your bean up in the deployment order)
does it start ok without your plugin?

    Hi Guys,
My environment is wl6.1sp2 and wli 2.1.
I am trying to develop a bpm event plugin. I just copied the Event plugin files
from the sample plugin and packaged them in my own package structure and am trying
to deply this. I am not clear as to what all needs to be in the EJBComponent section
of config.xml. This is all that I have right now.
    <EJBComponent DeploymentOrder="0" Name="repository-ejb.jar"

    Targets="myserver" URI="wlxtpi.war"/>
    <EJBComponent DeploymentOrder="10" Name="plugin.jar"

the last one plugin.jar is where i packaged the event plugin . I am ataching that
with this mail. I am getting the following exception at startup.

Can anybody please point me to the right place to look for a howto kind of doc
on how to create a new plugin. The e-docs section that i am using is very tailored
to sampleplugin and it doesn't talk about things at a generic level.
If somebody has a working plugin, Please send me your config files.
