Plugin version 13.0.0.182, ActiveX 12.0.0.77

After Flash Player update to 13.0.0.182 for Firefox on Win7Ent PC, ActiveX version stays at 12.0.0.77. Is this correct?

Yes... There are two (2) plug-ins for Windows (3 if you count Chrome's PepperFlash, but it can't be downloaded here)
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
If you download and install one, it doesn't update the other and vice versa. But, if you update one, you shoul dup date the other.

  • Flash 13.0.0.182 ActiveX will not deploy successfully

I have been deploying flash to our 7000 clients via SCCM successfully for the past previous versions.  Since 13.0.0.182 came out it has not been installing successfully on our clients.  The plugin installs successfully but activeX does not.  In fact it is registered in "programs and features" as installed but is not recognized by IE.  Flash player settings manager states the plugin version as 13.0.0.182 and activex as not installed.  Take a look at the screenshot below.
I deploy activex and plugin as one package and the plugin works great!  All of our clients are runing Win 7 Ent.  Is there a bug with the flash release???

  • Detecting Java Plugin version in IE

I need to be able to detect the version of the plug-in that is installed in IE. Basically, I want to use an Object tag to load Java 2 in a web browser, but if it's not a compliant version (1.3 version) send the person to an upgrade site. Is this possible using VB/javascript? What is the registered name of the activeX java plugin component?

While you probably can make some script to determine
the version of the plug-in, you don't really need to.
In your HTML, use the OBJECT tags to specify what
version of the plug-in you require and include the
URL to redirect to if they do not have it - see
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.1/docs/guide/plugin/devel
    per_guide/using_tags.html and
    http://java.sun.com/products/plugin/versions.html
I know about doing this as part of the OBJECT tag. The trouble is that I do not want Ie or the plug-in to try to do the automatic upgrade, and I'd like to be able to redirect the user to my own set of pages describing how to upgrade

  • Can't open CR2 files in PhotoShop CC. Raw plugin version is 8.3.0.141. MacBook Pro OS 10.9

I'm trying to open .CR2 files (Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS) with PhotoShop CC on my Mac. When I try to open them I get an error saying the file can't be opened. The raw plugin version is 8.3.0.141. Adobe's charts say I need at least "4.6,5.1" so I would assume my version should open it. What gives?

First thing I should do is to link you to the Camera Raw forum where the members there have a far better understanding of Camera Raw problems than I do.
If the generic advice doesn't work, it's time to bring in the specialists.   Click on that link and post your problem with the CR2 files.

  • I have a program that requires a Java plugin version 1.6.0_17 can you tell me where to find it?

I need this particular version, but have no clue how or where to find it. I am operating under Windows 7 currently. Can someone point me in the right direction?? Thanks in advance1

You can download Java Plugin Version 1.6.0_17 (as well as many other versions old and new) by visiting 'File Hippo' at this link:
    [[http://preview.tinyurl.com/btg95oh|Java Oracle Plugins]]
Please keep in mind however that the Firefox Java Plugin has blocked JRE versions below 1.6.0_31 or between 1.7.0 and 1.7.0_2. As of April 2012 some Firefox versions automatically block all Java plugins which are Java versions less than 1.6.0_31, therefore every user that has a problem and is running with a Demantra that supports Java higher than 1.6.0_19 can upgrade their Java plugin to 1.6.1_31. Demantra 7.3.0.2 and all versions of 7.3.1 support it.
Anyone who has a problem while running on an older Demantra version that does not support Java versions newer than 1.6.0_19 cannot use Firefox with Demantra. Instead they can either use Windows Internet Explorer (IE) without a Java upgrade or they can upgrade their Demantra.
If they upgrade to the latest Java version then the Demantra plugin will not work - not with Firefox and not with IE.
If you still need additional help, you can find it at [[My Oracle Support.|My Oracle Support]] Oracle's one-stop online technical support portal offers a wealth of resources for customers.
'''How to enable Java if it's been blocked'''
In order to protect you, Firefox has stopped some versions of the Java plugin from running automatically because of security issues. However, you can still use Java on trusted sites if necessary. That's a good question. I may have installed FP 10.1 Beta in many of the attempts to resolve the issue. I've scanned my registry for any reference to Flash and removed anything that remotely resembles Flash Player (of course backing up Registry first). I've run uninstall_flash_player.exe, which doesn't appear to do anything. I've checked logs and there's no reference to Flash Player being installed.
When I go to the link provided ( http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/) I get the messageThe version of Adobe® Flash® Player ActiveX that you are trying to install is not the most current version. Please visit http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer to obtain the latest, most secure version. and when I look at the log (install.log) I see an attempt to install Flash Player. Log Message:
Fix bug related to validation of plugin versions.  The fix is to load a dynamic plugin SWF twice.  The first time it's loaded into a separate ApplicationDomain, so that the class types are not merged (and Version.version will not have identical values for player and plugin).  If the version types are consistent, then the plugin is loaded a second time, this time into the same SecurityDomain (so that class types are merged).  The second load should pull the SWF from the cache, minimizing the overhead.  The downside is that the SWF will be initialized twice.

Hi sebasvideo, Did you ever find a solution to this? I've been having the same problem for a few months now and it's maddening. Seems to be specific to the GPU like you say above. I noticed it most when using Element 3D. I thought maybe there was some sort of read/write interference as I have 2 SSDs and one HD with assets spread across all of them. But even when I consolidated all of my data to one drive the flickering kept happening. Not sure if it's an After Effects problem specifically... or windows 8.1? Or nVidia? Super frustrating thoguh.

  • Plugin version not installed when I down loaded 11,8,800,94

I have flash player version 11,8,800,94 but the plugin version is not installed, how do I install the plugin version, my games keep crashing and freezing.

To better assist you with this issue we need to know:
What is your operating system? (Windows or Mac) (XP, Vista, 7, 8)
What browser do you use? (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari)
Are you seeing any error messages?
Can you provide screenshots of the error messages (if applicable)?

  • Which flash plugin versions are supported on Firefox 7.0.1?

I recently upgraded to Firefox 7.0.1 running on Solaris 10 (SPARC) and my flash plug-in is no longer working. It is not listed in the Tools/Add-ons page and if I follow the "Check to see if your plugins are up to date" link, I get the following message:
Missing FLASH? For your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Flash. Please upgrade to the latest version.
I have installed the latest version of the flash plugin for Solaris/SPARC (11.0.1.152) and still get the same message. In addition, the flash plugin is listed in the INVALID section of my pluginreg.dat file, so I know it is finding the correct plugin.
This is only happening on Solaris/SPARC. The same flash plugin version works correctly with Firefox 7.0.1 on Solaris 10/X64 (x86 version obviously) and on Windows.
Is this a problem with the Solaris/SPARC build?
Is there any way to override Firefox's version requirement for the flash plugin?

Prior to upgrading from Firefox 6.0.2 to Firefox 7.0.1 I was running version 10.3.183.5 of the flash plugin. After upgrading to Firefox 7.0.1, I noticed that flash was no longer working, so I downloaded and installed version 11.0.1.152 of the flash plugin. I downloaded the damn thing three times to make sure I got the correct one and that it wasn't somehow corrupted. Same results every time.
As I mentioned above, the flash plugin does not show up in the Tools/Add-ons/Plugins page for Firefox 7.0.1. The "Check to see if your plugins are up to date" page displays a message indicating that the flash plugin is out of date and has been disabled. The Tools/Add-ons/Plugins page of Firefox 6.0.2 shows the expected version number for the flash plugin.

Via Javascripting. Look for Flash detection kits at the

As well this forum focuses on database access issues and you
    might find more

  • Difficulties using Flex Builder plugin version

The strangest thing just happened. I want to look into Zend, so after reading a bit on the web I decided to uninstall Flex Builder 3 standalone version and install Eclipse 3.4 and then install the plugin version of Flex Builder 3.
But after I installed when I click on the Run button I get an error message:
'Launching cmd' has encountered a problem.
    Variable references non-existant resource :
    ${workspace_loc:/Misc/src}
I assume this is because users need prior experience with using Eclipse, but I don't understand why the Adobe plugin version of Flex Builder cannot be such that it just works out of the box.
I have to say I am blown away by this and will immediately uninstall the plug-in version and re-install the standalone.
Any hints on what went wrong? I may try this again sometime but I want to get some work done tonight and I don't have time for this. Really amazed.

    Hi Greg,
I am using the Flex Builder plug-in and I don't remember ever running over this. You said that you have uninstalled Flex Builder before installing Eclipse. I'm not sure ( this is only a guess ) but what if certain setting that you had in Flex Builder remained on your system ( like the path to your workspace that I think got deleted when you uninstalled it ) and when you installed Eclipse, then it was trying to access the information previously stored by Flex Builder.
I'm not sure if that's what the Error says but you might want to check if you workspace still exists and if it does, then does it contain a folder called "Misk/src". I really don't remember running over this error, the Plug-in worked just fine for me.
    With best regards,
    Barna Biro
