can anybody help me with this??
I need to know how I can make a video on FCP and send it to mobile phones?? What specifications should I have in order to be able to send it to mobile phones and view it clearly??

Edit the video in FCP, then export it to compressor 2. There are 6 different presets you can choose from there in a submenu named "Mobile Devices". You'll need to know which one (or all of them) that the system you need to deliver to uses...

You can't download plugins. If the built-in Videos app doesn't support the type of video that you want to play, then try searching the App Store for a video or browser app that supports the type of video that you want to play.

Adobe Flash Player update will not download and receive messages that plugin for videos is disabled.

Received message that Adobe FlashPlayer needed to be updated. I try walking through the steps and it will never download. Cannot view news clips or videos sent to me. Receive a message "The plugin for this content has been disabled. Click here to manage." If I click, nothing happens.

Have you blocked a component called ''plugin_container.exe'' with your firewall by any chance? Check the logs.

Next, reboot and then go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ It should give you the option to install it immediately without the need to download it.
Be aware though that when you run the uninstaller, it will also remove Flash from IE8 (or 9), so if you use either of those, you'll have to go to the same site again and download it from within Internet Explorer.

Identify the email sent by mobile phones using Transport Agent?

Is there a way using Exchange Transport SDK to identify whether an email is sent by mobile device or not?
We have a business proposition, where we are going to build a transport agent based on this identification.

The short answer is no, there is no property in Exchange that is manadartorly set when a mobile client (and their are a lot of them eg Blackberry, Good, Android, Iphone, Windows Mobile) sends an email. Each of these mobile clients have their own different
implementation of the ActiveSync (or other) client API.
Within specific enviroments with specific devices you maybe able to do this using workarounds eg my Samsung Galaxy s4 set the Internet Message Id to a patricular domain (eg emai.andriod.com), so other mobile phones/clients may set things like this
or particular header or property to indicate the client version for their own debugging purposes (eg look at the transport headers for instance). But there is no universal way of doing this that you can guarantee.

Video Streaming from PC to Mobile phone

Hello guys, Here is the problem before me :
If a web cam is attached to a computer and i want to stream the video to a Java enabled cell phone. What algorithm should i be using?
No Ports are allowed on the network :( so i have to go through HTTP protocol. The strategy currently in my mind is :
Buffer HTTP packets on server and try to send as many as to the client and than extract required data from Http Packet.

I want to play a MPG video that was sent to my phone - HOW - HELP HELP

Father in law sent me a MPG video of my son fishing to my phone. It is about 8mgs, can't get it to play. It says I need quicktime to play it. However I don't see a quicktime app? Any ideas or solutions? I really appreciate all the help!!

iPhone will not play .MPG files natively. There are converters that will convert native .MPG files into a compatible iPhone format.
iPhone supports H.264 and MPEG-4 video formats, with AAC audio.

nearly correct. i have a regular cell phone with video capabilities. it plays mp4 videos but in the mobile phone formatting. the videos come from everywhere: little videos from online, movies, shows, etc. i want to be able to convert multiple videos at one time. being able to change details along the way would be helpful too.

Survey through mobile phone

Hi,
I want to create a survey through mobile phones..Basically would like to create an application sort , which will send a survey form via sms and also record the response via a sms in a particular server. I have very little experience in java and J2me..and hence it would be great if someone can guide me..as to how I can go about doing this.....
My requirement would be broadcast the survey form to the mobiles ...
Basically what would be my basic requirements for this and how can I go about developing the application and also what would be the required harware??

There are two approaches for this
1. Connect your mobile phone to the server using the wired interface and use the hyperterminal utility to send SMS commands to the mobile
phone
2.use an SMS gateway to send your text messages . google it (sms gateway services) and you will be suprised by the number that turn up.

There is no such plugin for any Android browser. I doubt Microsoft will ever make one. The best chance you have is if the site provides a direct link to the file and you download it. You then might be able to play the file with one of the media players on the phone.

Quicktime plugin does not load on FireFox 4.01 says Waiting for Video

When i go to Apple Trailers and view a trailer the popout box opens but message in window is " Waiting For Video ". Have re-installed quicktime still doesnt work, works ok in IE 8 still.

If you find anything out please share. I have flash projects (SWF) files created in Captivate 5 that play fine in Flash and Dreamweaver, but freeze up on the web in safari, firefox, opera and chrome. Even files that used to play just fine. This upgrade has been a nightmare - I have spent hours troubleshooting to no avail. It does not seem to be a problem for windows users - only macs.

Filters for video and FPS on mobile devices

Hi,
I tried to apply a filter to a video on mobile phones and had a strange effect:
When I apply the filter to a 24 FPS source video the resulting frame-rate after applying the filter drops to about 7 FPS. But if I use a 8 FPS source video the frame-rate is even lower at about 3-4 FPS. I expected an higher, or at least equal resulting framer-rate with the 8 FPS source video. What's the reason for this behavior?
I use the Flash Player 10.1 for Android 2.2 and the Google Nexus One.

I know that there is no "calculation" of the Framerate! You do not understand my problem: if the client is capable to calculate 7 frames=images per second using the filter, why it only calculates 4 images per second if I take exaclty the same source video stream and just reduce the delivered framerate to the device of it from 24 to 8.
So with regards to your anwser: the highest rate the client can handle is about 7 frame per second when the filter is applied.
And just for the understanding: I have a video object who displays the video stream from a streaming server. On this video object i apply the filter one time and afterwards each frame is processed applying this filter. So there is no alternately applying and removing of filters.
