Plugins Menu in Gwenview empty

I am on plasma5 desktop with Gwenview and Kipi-plugins and libkipi installed.
The Plugins menu in Gwenview is empty.
Unfortuantely, I just noticed this after a 2/13 'sudo pacan -Syu' and do not know when the problem was introduced.
Are their workarounds?

For the record, the plugin I wanted was a batch upload to picasaweb. So, digikam instead of showfoto is the tool to use.

Resetting Flash Player browser plugin menu language to English?

When right-clicking on a Flash object in Safari 4 I was surprised to discover the menu was in Czech. And when I tried it under my wife's account it was in German. Neither of us have used any other language than English on the system so I'm totally baffled by what caused this change. I've been searching the web for a way to switch the language back to English and can't find anything even close to a solution. Version info from Safari's Installed Plug-ins page is:
Shockwave Flash 10.0 r22 — from file “Flash Player.plugin”.
It's only been installed/updated with Apple OS X updates; never manually. This is only happening on one of three Macs here, all which are nearly identically configured.

I figured out the problem:
*/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/Flash Player.plugin/Contents/Resources/English.lproj* was missing on the system with non-English text.
Like you, I fixed it simply by reinstalling from the Adobe distribution. My hunch is the OS X 10.5.7 update broke it when updating Flash Player, maybe confused by something from a previous manual FP update. The *.lproj folders differ on all three of my Macs, a sign of language inconsistencies between Adobe and Apple FP installations/updates. And deleting some of the empty ones fixed the problem of duplicates appearing under the Languages section of a Finder Get Info window.
This question has been answered but I'll leave it marked unanswered for a couple days so it's still possible to reply.

When I open my browser, the web page area is completely black and the menu area is empty, how can I fix this?

When I open firefox, nothing shows up but an empty browser. The web area is completely black and if I right click to open up the little menu, that is also black. The top of the browser is empty and none of the menu buttons appear, none of my bookmarks appear, and none of the search bars or anything appear. Firefox was working fine and then the next time I started my laptop up this is what I experienced. There is absolutely nothing I can do in Firefox. If I right click the top menu area, the smaller menu is completely black but if I click around in it I can see it adding and removing my toolbars and such but I still cannot see anything besides black space and empty space.

hello, other users with this problem all had an embedded intel hd graphics card with an old driver present. in case this also applies to you, here would be a link to update the driver, which in turn should also address the black firefox problem.

How to determine the order of plugin menu entries displayed in Automate menu?

Now I have some plugins, but I saw that under the same Category, the menu items are showed by Lexicographic Order (A:up Z:down), but not by their Priority Properties. Also, each category is arranged by Lexicographic Order of suite name. It means, If I change the plugin names to other language, the order will be different, that's inconvenient for the users. What could I do to get a fixed order? Any idea will be appreciated.

Yes it is, but I think that is strange if someone would add 2 items with identical names, the user will be confused. Is there some other ways to determine the position of each menu item?
It seems the photoshop loads plugins suite by suite. If I have 2 suite named "A" and "Z", then all plugins of "A" are loaded by priority, then plugins of "B" be loaded. Can I change the loading order, other than modify the suitename?

Weblogic plugin server list is empty

We setup apache2.2, weblogic8.1sp6 and mod_wl_22.so on AIX. When started, it is working fine but after a couple of hrs (sometimes minutes), the weblogic serverlist (weblogic cluster lis/general server list in weblogicbridgeconfig) will be lost. The logs on wlproxy is below.

It seems you're using virutal host in place of Load module. Anyhow I have a couple of notices;
- which JDK you've on your AIX server
- Did you add LoadModule to your Httpd.conf
- You a couple of parameters which are not known to me for example
WLLocalIP z.z.z.,
I put virtual host parameters as following;

SetHandler weblogic-handler
WebLogicCluster Hostname:7003,HostName:7004

After these changes try to restart Admin Server & ManagedServers.

[SOLVED] Kipi-plugins installed but Gwenview does not show import/expo

I've installed kipi-plugins and libkipi but I don't see Import/Export services (Picassa,Facebook etc) in Gwenview. Do I need to do some configuration some where ? I am a new comer to Arch. I've installed the new core image and KDE 4.7 minimal on top of it yesterday and this is my first day with Arch.

Strangely, it is solved now after I opened ~/.kde4/share/config/gwenviewrc and closed it and restarted my PC. But I did not change/add anything in that file. Of course I've also parallely installed some more kde-graphics packages and updated the system. I don't know what has exactly solved my problem.

What's the searchplugins folder and why doesn't its content show up in the Manage Plugins menu?

Today on my first Search bar attempt, my search page got redirected from Google to www.bigseekpro.com, which I had never heard of. I checked my Plugins and Addons, it didn't show up there. But my home page had also been hijacked, from the tabs I normally go to, to only go to this new page. I did find in C:\uerdatada\appdata\roaming\mozilla\firefox\profiles\cawypqyo.default a new folder created a few moments before, \searchplugins, and in this a file search.xml, which contained xml commands to redirect the search activity.
These look suspicious: the first command sets xmlsn:os to "http://a9.com", which I can't seem to find anything on with whois or tracert; bigseekpro.com itself traces to its registry at godaddy.com, but that's about all I'm finding.
If this is a legitimate place for Firefox to look for a plugin, why doesn't the Firefox plugin manager tell me it found something there? And why couldn't the Help articles on "Search not going where you want it to" also tell me about this?
Any ideas? Am I right to be highly suspicious of this behavior?

"Bookmark toolbar" is visible as drop down menu but shows empty bar even though it is checked on in "view" menu

the horizontal "bookmark toolbar" is checked on in the "view" "toolbars" menu, but appears as a blank bar, without any entries. If I go to "Bookmarks" on the menu bar I can see the "bookmark toolbar" entries. How can I make visible the bookmarks saved in the horizontal "Bookmark toolbar".

Check that you still have the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar.
Make sure that all the toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* Check in "View > Toolbars > Customize" that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
* If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize window onto the Bookmarks Toolbar

Oracle EBS R12 - Main Menu list is empty

Production Environment:
Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (12.1.3) / 11.1.0.7.0
Operatin System: Oracle Linux ES v5.5
Multi Node Instations
Node 1 (Linux ES v5.5.) - Database Machine
Node 2 (Linux ES v5.5.) - Application Machine
Network filrewalls installed between the machine and out side the application machine. With this configuration our production is running since Nov 2010 onwards.
Issue:
Yesterday, All the users are reported - the responsibilities in the main menu toolbar is not visable after the login.
When we look the DB and Apps Machines - All the application services are UP and running on apps machine and database and db listener also UP and running on DB machine as well. There is no error messages in Apache and OPMN log and database alert log files
What could be ausing this issue? If it is network/firewall issue, how would we find out this could be the network issue?

My firefox is black but shows a few ads and the menu bar is empty

I added a monitor and am running two monitors. Since I installed the monitor my firefox (which I don't think I can live without) is totally black with the exception of a random ad and the menu bars are present but blank. Can you help me?

So the menu bar reads iChat, File, Edit, View, Buddies, Video, Window and Help
There is no Buddy List open.
There is no other window for iChat open.
In the iChat Menu you only have access to Status.
Is an item ticked in the list ?
Is this a green (Available item) or Red ( an Away one) ?
Can you access the Accounts option ? (Sitll in the iChat Menu)
Is anything in here ticked ?
In the Window menu any Logged in account should appear in the list (Between the Next Chat and File Transfer items)
It would be useful to know which version of iChat this is.
If no account is ticked (iChat Menu > Accounts) or not showing in the Window Menu, plus you cannot determine the Status and you cannot access the Preferences then you need to access your Home Folder/Library/Preferences
As the Library in the Home Holder is Invisible in Lion you will need the Finder's Go Menu > Go to Folder option (you can use it in earlier OS versions if you want)
Type in:-
~/Library/Preferences
Find the file called com.apple.ichat.plist
Drag it to the Trash and Restart iChat.
This will lose all the settings in iChat that you have changed from Defaults but there is no way around this.

ESTK CC target application menu is nearly empty

I just got upgraded to CC and once I managed to get ESTK installed, everything looked good. Now a couple of launches later, and ESTK only sees itself as an available target. I can see aftereffects12 in the data browser, but I can't target it, either through the menu, or with #target. I'm probably going to try a reinstall, but has this come up for anyone else?

It's not really slow reacting, it's really freezing for 2-3 seconds and then continues normal. Any button inputs that I do during the freeze are buffered and will be entered after the freeze. This being said, the OS could well be the problem in which case I'm kinda screwed cause I can't go back. Not now anyway.
On the other hand, if it's really the OS many more people would have complaint by now as it's very annoying. But I can't find much of anything about this issue.

JCDE (Java Card Plugin) menu is not work on Eclipse

I want to add JavaCard Applet into my existing project on Eclipse 4.2. So,
1.I download EclipseJCDE and extract it into the plugin folder of Eclipse.
2.When I open the eclipse, There are 2 menus appeared that is Java Card and JCWDE
3.I add the Java Card Applet file into my project.
Then I have a problem.

Your reply did not help me access an update to JAVA to work with 10.8.3 to play JAVA related games. This is a REAL PROBLEM! As I subscribe to game websites and my family cannot play these games. I have contacted Apple Support and we tried uninstalling JAVA and reinstalling it from JAVA .com. We made sure my computer (IMAC) was set up to accept JAVA was turned on and I still have the same problem. JAVA related games will not play. The error message says "An updated JAVA has not been detected" So what am I to do? Who can help me with this type of problem? Apple Support asked me to contact JAVA by phone 1-800-223-1711 but they do not have any phone support. I was directed to a site called Live Support" and they charge $80.00 to resolve problems for an Apple computer or $1.00 a minute. Great choices! I accepted this offer however Apple will not allow third party developers to help. Do you have any ideas that will really help me?

Applications menu empty after mmc change

I own a 6300 (latest firmware)
when it comes out of the package, the phones got the "Games" and "Collection" folders on an 128 MB memory card. 128 MB stink so I got myself another one. I copied the games and applications with the pc suite to the pc and back to the larger MMC.
But now I can no longer access them through the "Applications" button of the main menu, I have to browse the MMC for it in the Gallery...
I tried to create folders exactly named after the original ones on both phone and MMC, but the applications-menu always is empty.
(empty means 3 items:
Applications:
Memory Card
1.3 GB
Games
0.0 KB
Collection
0.0 KB
I know it's a small and unimportant problem, but it kinda annoys me. And I think some hardcore-nokia-people here sure know how to fix this
