Plugins not showing up

I've got EZDrummer showing up as an AU, but cant get Amplitube & Trilogy to work. I installed AU versions, deleted cache, removed preferences, etc. Nothing. Any ideas?

Trilogy is not a Universal Binary plugin, it is a PPC plugin, and therefore cannot be used natively on Intel Macs.
Contact Spectrasonics for a tedious, unreliable and annoying temporary wrapper solution until they get the next version of Trilogy out.
I assume you are also using an old, PPC-only version of Amplitube, which is why it's also not showing up. Contact IK for a UB update.

Plugins not showing up in logic 9

I just downloaded OS X Lion to my Mac Pro and am using Logic 9.1.6. I have previously purchased two plugins that work within the OS but are not showing up as plugins/virtual instruments in Logic. So I checked the AU Manager and both of these virtual instruments have a check in the Logic box, but not the Nodes box. The two plugins are Native Instruments' Akoustik Piano and Submersible Music's Drumcore 3. Both are 32-bit plugins, but I'm running Logic as a 32-bit application.
I have checked both of their websites and they say the software will work with OS X Lion.
Thoughts? Direction?

The Node should be unchecked, 3rd party instruments cannot node, so that's normal.
If you clickhold the I/O slot of a Software Instrument Channel, the piano's should show up in the Native Instruments folder, and the other one should probably be in the Submersible Music folder.

Adobe Flash Plugin not showing up in Finder

Very frustrated here. I have installed and uninstalled the latest version of adobe flash trying to get it to work on OSX 10.7 and it's just not showing up in my plugins in Finder. What is going on? I can't watch video content or other flash on this Mac at all.

1. Enable Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security
    Web Content:
    Click in the box for "Enable Plug-ins".
2. Check whether you are currently in YouTube HTML 5 trial.

    At the bottom left of the page uncheck the box for
   "You are currently in the HTML5 trial".
3. Reset Safari.
    Click Safari in the menu bar.
    From the drop down select "Reset Safari".
    Uncheck the boxes next to all items.
    Check the box next to "Remove all website data".
    Click "Reset".
4. Turn off Extensions/Plug-ins if any that may interfere with Flash working properly.
    Safari > Preferences > Extensions

IMovieHD6 Plugins Not Showing in Program

I just downloaded and installed some free plugins from geethree.com. I installed them as I do any other program but they are not showing up in iMovie HD6. I checked to see if by chance they appeared in iMovie09 but they don't (and shouldn't). Can anyone help?

Waves Plugins not showing up in Logic 9

I installed waves plugins AU and VST but they are not showing in Logic. They show up as VSTs in Ableton but i can't see them in Logic tried using AU manager but still couldn't figure anything out. I really need some of the plugins especially the API compressor and eq and the multi-maximizer. What could i be doing wrong?

i figured it out! i had to run the au reg utility. after i ran it the plugins showed in logic.

Export Presets for Plugins not showing when a "-" occurs in the pathname

Hi,
I thought I might post this here in case some users are perplexed when a plug-in is installed but doesn't show in the "Export with Preset" panel. A couple commonly affected are ColorChecker Passport and HDR Efex Pro 2 (well these are the ones I use).
Typically is is because the User Name for your PC (Windows) has a "-" in the name and the only way to fix it is to move those plugin directories out of the Lightroom/Modules entry to a Root Directory without a dash in the name.
What really annoys me about this is that I reported it to Adobe as a Bug over a year ago at the following link and there was never any acknowledgement: http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/export_presets_for_plugins_not_showi ng_when_a_occurs_in_the_pathname
Really this is not the level of professionalism we expect from Adobe!

Plugins not showing up in Images - Edit With... menu

I've installed several Aperture 2 plugins (I currently and using Aperture 2.1). Every user guide states I can find the plugins in the following menu: Images -> Edit With...
The only plugin I ever see in the is Dodge and Burn.
Like I said, I run completely through the installer for the plugins. It asks for permission, says its installing packages, writing files, writing scripts etc. When I right click on Aperture and select "Show Package Contents", I see no traces of my installed plugins in the "Plugins" folder.
Anyone know how I can resolve this issue?

I just reread your OP. The plugins should be stored in: Root (not User) >> Library >> Application Support >> Aperture >> Plugins >> Edit (or just plugins w/o the edit folder)
Are they there?
I just installed that plugin you linked to, and it worked fine. Have you restarted, repaired permissions etc? Remember that the Aperture application HAS to be in the applications folder, not in a sub-folder and not renamed to function properly.

Magic Bullet Denoiser II Plugin Not Showing Up in Effects Panel on CS5.5

Very bizarre. I have Looks working, as well as a trial of Neat Video.
I have tried holding down SHIFT to reload the plugin cache.
I have tried reinstalling Denoiser II , including older versions of it.
Of note: Reviewing the Plugin Loading Log shows the following:
Loading C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\CS5.5\MediaCore\Magic Bullet Denoiser\Denoiser2-64.aex
Loading from disk...
No loaders recognized this plugin, so the plugin is set to Ignore.
Following this thread (http://forums.adobe.com/message/4058748), I saw in the Registry that IGNORE is flagged as (1), which means to ignore upon load.
Manually changing as that thread recommends, however, doesn't help, as when I reload Premiere it resets the IGNORE flag to (1). Which is of course as the message indicates (No Loaders Recognize, so setting to Ignore).
I'm stumped here. What does it mean by No Loaders REcognized? I'm working with Magic Bullet support also and they don't seem to have an answer either.

Why do my plugins not show up?

I hate the newest version since it doesn't show ANY of my plugins. LJ Login, which I use frequently, no longer shows up in the bottom right corner. If anyone has a fix, which I doubt, that would be great, but for now, I just want to downgrade back to what I had. I hate the layout.

Do you really mean plugin (Tools > Add-ons > Plugins and about:plugins) or do you mean extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)?
It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.
Delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to check if there is a compatibility update available.

AU Plugins not showing up on GB3 on my G5 Mac

I tried to open my AU instrument and effect plugins in GB3 on my G5 Mac (OS 10.4.9) but they only show up in the generator list. They are placed in the right (component) folder so I don´t know what else to do. is this a known bug and is there a workaround?

That's all there are now. You may find some in the obsolete section but the whole text handling thing has changed in the CC versions. Spend a few hours in the help section to help figure it all out.

Eclipse 4.2 plugins not showing

I updated eclipse last night and some plugins (android, mercurial) and after that I can't access them in eclipse or even see them in the preferences screen.
Any ideas?
Edit: The plugins are installed from AUR.

I enabled first [kdemod-testing] on my repos then
pacman -S kdemod
I even reinstalled...but still no luck

Problem with Topaz plugins not showing up

I have managed to install all my 9 TOPAZ plugins to CS6, but, all is well if I open Photoshop first,all the plugins appear in filters, however if I open bridge first and then open an image vis bridge, no TOPAZ plugins appear in the filters although all is well in CS5. Any ideas please.Don Carr

Hello! If you are on a Pc, there is a 32 and a 64 bits version of Photoshop. Some filters are 32 bits only. Are you sure that you opened the 32 bits version of Photoshop each time?

IDCS3 - Mac: Plugins do not show up on production machines

I have converted a series of plugins on my Mac from CS2 to CS3 and have made their release versions available to our production people. I can see them fine on my box, but when the plugins are installed on Macs other than my own the plugins do not show up inside of InDesign. I have verified that the plugins are installed in the appropriate location on the hard drive. Has anyone else had similar problems and if they did, how did they solve it?

Hi John,
Sorry about my confusing message. "CFShow(CFSTR("your message"));" is a way to output text from your code to the Console in runtime. You may be able to determine the flow of your code.

My plugins are not showing up in PS CC

Just installed PS CC ( both 32 and 64 bit version on Windows 7), looks good but not one of my plugins are showing up.
I checked : Preferences-Plug-ins and it is showing login dialog to Photoshop Server.
I am not familiar with CC so not sure what it means.
Is there a way to reset this dialog that it will search for plugins in a plugin folder.
BTW, no plugins show up in the CC plugins folder in Windows explorer either, except for the NIK plugin I reinstalled, but even that one doesn't show up in the dropdown menu in PS CC.
What is the solution ?

I have managed to get them going, at least most of them in CC 32 bit version.
No luck with 64, but I do not care about that.
I have moved the content of the plugins folder from CS5 into CC , reinstalled NIK ( again) and they all seems to be running.
Still, I do not know what Photoshop Server is in the Plugin Preferences.
I used to be able just to select the additional plugins folder in their and that would work, but here I cannot change anything.
It is a most weird dialog, do you have any idea how it works ?
