Plus sign after entering information in PDF Form

Good morning!
I have a PDF form that I made. I'm relatively new at this. Actually this is my first form and my boss is now wanting me to turn more of our forms into fillable PDF's. Which is fine. It was easy to figure out but now I am running into a problem where a plus sign is poping up after entering information. She wants me to fix it but seeing as I am playing around making these it's a bit above my head. Do you know how to get rid of these plus signs? Do you know why this is happening? It only seems to be doing it in these fields as well.

The "+" is used to indicate an text overflow condition or there is more formatted text than can be displayed. One gets rid of this by either making the font size smaller or the size of the text field larger.
Acrobat does not have a dynamic field type or a field that reflows to match the entered text. LiveCycle has this type of form and PDF format but mobile devices cannot yet process LiveCycle created forms.

Why can't i see the information entered into a PDF form that was created?

I have created a fillable form and when the individuals complete the form and send it back, it shows blank until you click in each box, but you can't print it off with all of their information as it doesn't show on the print? Did i do something wrong when i created it?

This is typically an issue when a person uses a non-Acrobat product (Preview on the Mac or NitroPDF on Windows, for instance) to fill out the PDF form.
Somewhere at the beginning of your form, let the users know they must use Adobe's free Reader or one of their commercial products: Acrobat Standard (for education) or Acrobat Pro to complete the form. That, or just convert it to a web form, with instructions for them to print each page as they move along.
There could be a different reason, but this is the most common.

Cannot see data or enter data in pdf forms

I am an elementary school teacher, and use an application to maintain student information. I am able to navigate thru the app to select various student data, but when I click to display a students information, a blank PDF form is displayed. Borders and grids display, but no data is displayed, and I cannot enter any data. The IT help desk suggested uninstalling the old Adobe Reader, and replacing with 9.4.1, but this did not help.

It's really hard to say what's going on without knowing more about the system. It's possible that the program is generating an FDF (Forms Data Format) file and launches it, causing the PDF to load and populate with the data in the FDF. Folks have reported that recent changes to Reader have broken this type of thing. So you may need to go back to an even earlier version, such as 9.2 or 9.3, or somehow contact the developers of the application for help.
Is this something that happens in a web browser?

Only able to view entered info. on PDF form when I preview it?

I was almost finished completing a 127 page form and when I went to open it today I was unable to view all of the information I have entered. The info. is no doubt there because I can view everything I've entered when I preview it but once I open the document completely I can't view anything, even if I click on the box. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't think that's the problem because I just reloaded the original form and typed in a few entries and was able to view my info. I just submitted another question as I think the problem may be that the file has a lock icon but I have no idea how I locked it. Below is my entry. Any help would be appreciated!

I've been working on a 127 page pdf form for a couple of weeks and have saved all of my information multiple times. I recently opened the document to complete the form(I literally had 2 entries left) and I am unable to view any of the information I've entered. The information is no doubt still there because the original form is 7mb, and my saved form is 7.26mb. I am also able to see all of my information when I preview the document by opening the my documents window and clicking once to preview the form in the same window, however can not see any of my information when I attempt to edit it and open the form completely. I am using a PC, windows 7. I'm assuming I can't view my info. because I somehow locked it but I am not asked for a password when I open it. I recently downloaded the original form again and typed in info. and there is no lock icon when I save it under a different name and I'm able to view the info. entered. I have no idea how I locked the form or if this is the reason I can't view the info. when I open the documetn completely. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sign HTTP request in interactive PDF form

I know that is possible to send HTTP request from PDF form. I know that is possible to sign whole PDF and submit it.
But I want to sign some XML and send it from PDF as HTTP request. Is it possible?

Is it possible for users to enter data on PDF forms?

I would like to use Crystal Reports to generate a PDF form with data from database; I am experienced with that.
Here's the question -- Many of the fields will be populated from my database, but I would like to leave some fields blank for the user to edit manually. (I do not expect these edits to update the database.) Is there a field or object I can insert to allow for these manual edits?
I have seen this feature at my own benefits website. I can click on the PDF and enter some values in blank fields. It gives me a warning that the changes will only be shown when I print, not when I save.
I have been unable to create this feature using Visual Studio 2005. Do I have to upgrade to 2008? Or do I have to upgrade my Crystal Report package in Visual Studio? Or is this feature not possible in Visual Studio?
Any thoughts are most welcome.

There are 3rd-party tools (see comprehensive list at http://www.kenhamady.com/bookmarks.html) that provide extra pdf functionality on top of the pdf export from Crystal.
In the case of my Visual CUT software, you can use hidden formulas inside your Crystal report to generate form fields (pre-populated as well as empty) as part of the pdf export process.

Export database information into pdf forms for printing

I'm hoping that this is doable and isn't extremely hard.
I have an access database that contains customer information. From this information I would like to export it into an existing pdf form (for each individual customer) and save it for printing at a later time.
Is this possible?

makes sure that the value of s is numeric, rounds it up and then converts the number to a string.

When hitting enter on some web pages(after entering information), the page just reloads. How can I fix this? It worked before, but no longer does.

When I go to certain web sites, and enter in my information(like my Bank website), I hit enter, and the page just reloads.
Or when I finish making a post to my blog, and I hit "Post Entry", the page just reloads.
I did not have this problem until a few days ago. I've been using the same Firefox browser, and have deleted my cookies/history...ect.
But nothing works.

How to dilpay record after entering or submitting a form

Everytime a record is inserted in a form, the form is cleared and the user will have to requery the record. Has anyone discovered a way to automatically requery the record? or open another form or report to show just new entered record displaying all fields .
The intention for this is that i have a lot fo default values which are filled by the trigger and my client want to know them for making labels, especially the primary key.

You can add onSuccess PLSQL code to get the newly created record PK (with p_session.get_value() function) and link back to the same form ( using CALL() or GO()) passing that PK value.

Acrobat has frozen after entering formulas into a form.

i have a trial of acrobat pro dc. i am makig a fillable order form with formulas in it and have just entered the formulas. the whole form has now frozen and wont respond to anything! i don't want to kill it as isn't saved anywhere. is there any other option?

Discarding plus sign after forward no answer

On a CUCM where all numbers are globalized to E.164, I run into the issue of having third party devices (Ascom DECT phones) that do not support the plus. For most things, this is not a problem.
However, when a call comes in to a E.164 DN with calling number also in E.164, and then is forwarded to the DECT phone using CFW NoAn, the calling number is sent in E.164 format as well. Since the phone strips the plus, it cannot be dialed back (from example the missed calls list of the phone).
I'm trying to find a way to change the calling number to prefix 000 which would also work for dialing out,but only to the DECT devices. Any ideas where I could manage this?

The Hunt Pilot and VM Pilot must match. The VM Pilot points to the number to dial, in this case it would dial the Hunt Pilot, which contains the Hunt List/Line Group for the VM ports. Below is a link on integrating CUCM with CUC.

Can someone help me email pdf form after filled out/saved toanother party without it showing up blank?

I own a windows RT and am desperately looking for an app that I can fill out PDF forms created by my job to then email to another party. It seems after I open a PDF form I have to then save it as a copy before I can even start working on it and then save it again once finished. Then when I email it to someone within my company it always arrive blank but when I get the bad news I'll go back to view the form and its filled out on my end. Can someone please help me with this situation?

I just have the most recent app available for the Microsoft surface RT so if it is the 11.0.07 then great but I'm still having troubles with the surface RT only. Any ideas?

Convert filled in PDF form to Word

I've got a fillable PDF document that I have saved about 10 fields on it. I want to convert it to Word. When I do that, the Word document always shows the blank fields without the information I've filled in.
How can I get a Word document that has the filled in fields that are in the PDF document?
