"Plus" sign in every cell...

All of a sudden I have a + (Plus) sign in every cell of my document and I can't get rid of them. Any ideas?

Plus in cell means that the content it too big for the cells. Reduce the size of the content or enlarge the cells.

I am new to Numbers. I just set up a spreadsheet with a date. I went to the inspector to specify the format for the date, I did the time as well. When I went back to my cell there was a plus sign which I took to mean that there was more content. So, I looked and saw the time. I took out the time in the inspector but the plus sign is still there. Does anyone know why?

Your cell width is too small to accomodate the embedded value.
Enlarge the column or change the font size.

Plus sign in corner of cell - how do I get it to disappear?

I'm new to Numbers, and I'm sure this is an extremely basic question, but...
In the cell on a spreadsheet which shows the sum of the numbers in the cells above, there is a plus sign in the bottom right hand corner of the cell. I changed the format of the number in the cell so that it showed the figure in currency (sterling). The plus sign then appeared.
I'm used to Excel, and it looks like the formatting option that you get when you paste information into a cell. However, clicking on it and looking at the options that appear, none are appropriate.
I just want to get rid of it - it's blocking my view of the figure in the cell. I'm sure it's very simple to do, once you know what to do. Can anyone explain what to do? Thanks!

Numbers is warning you that your figure doesn't fit in the cell. You can eliminate the warning by making your figure smaller or your cell wider

Why do you force people to download useless download assistance, plus I have to sign in every time?

Why in the would do you make people thought this useless download assistance that makes the whole downloading a pain in the behind and not only do I have to go thought this useless download assistance I also have to sign in every time, just post the direct link to the file with no login required, that is easy and fast.
I am getting this error message “Error communicating with Adobe.com (Error 107). Restart Adobe Download Assistant and try to add the product again.” Fix it please. You are causing me a big inconvenience.
I see why people pirate online software when you have to go thought this, maybe if Adobe learns that making it hard for people to download their products, people go somewhere else, they should make it easy like how people pirate online software.

Why does my safari close when I try to open a new safari window/tab with the white plus sign?

Every time I hit the white plus sign the whole window closes. I just got this ipad from a friend who erased it. This has happened since I set it up and I have tried resetting it twice. Please help.

That is an old version of Safari. Where did you say you got it from?
Do you have a backup of your 10.7.5 system?
You should update it to 5.1.7.

How to use the plus sign (+) in URLs

I have a procedure that takes a name as a in parameter. When the value of the name got a plus sign in it, the browser can't find the page/procedure. It works for every name without the plus sign.
Ie. the following is an exsample of an URL with plus sign in the value of a parameter:

How to finally get rid of those annoying little plus sign boxes in a table

Hello everyone!
Pages treat table cells as a _*TEXT BOX*_
If those +*annoying little plus sign boxes*+ are popping up, do this to get rid of them:
1. Open Inspector
2. _*Select all*_ on your table
3. Click on T
4. Click TEXT
5. GO to _*INSET MARGIN*_ and SLIDE until the little plus sign boxes disappear.
FINALLY the boxes are gone!

All of us here were seeing it all the time up until yesterday and it was driving us CRAZY!!
Imagine this:
You are trying to get some work done in Pages
In a table
You add some text to a cell
Then you find out that you have to make the table smaller because
suddenly you have to insert another table on the page
As you are making the table smaller
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Inside the cell with the text *a little box with an X in it appears* and will not go away.
If you are working with MANY cells in a table
You are looking at A LOT OF LITTLE BOXES with X's in them.
Suddenly you feel *SEA SICK* looking at all those little boxes
You read the entire iWork Manual line by line BUT cannot find anything to HELP
Your project is not a numbers candidate
You have been a mac user for YEARS and YEARS
You know your macs, you know your mac issues
WHAT TO DO
I am sure you can see the dilemma we were in!
Then all of us realized that this is similiar to a text box issue and cell padding issue from our Adobe CS suite programs and sure enough it WAS!!
That is basically the problem ALL of US were having.
So if our solution can help anyone - *WE ARE GLAD*
because they were probably getting *SEA SICK TOO* trying to get some work done

Plus "+" signs appear in subject when using "Mail Link to This Page" error

When I choose File > Mail Link to This Page in Safari for Windows (all recent/current versions), Safari opens a new Outlook email message window with a link to the web page I want to send in the content area of the message as it should, however the subject line contains plus sign "+" symbols between every word in the web page's title, as shown here:
Subject: Apple-+Support+-+Discussions+-+Post+Message:+NewTopic
Any tips on how to make those distracting plus signs go away?

Yeah, I've posted the same inquiry. I'm surprised we haven't heard anything back yet regarding this annoying issue w/ the "+" symbols showing up in the Subject line every time we mail a link.
Hopefully we'll get some type of assistance soon.

Repeating plus sign

Daughter was playing on a website, next thing she knew, the address bar was nothing but an infinite line of +++++++++++++ that cannot be deleted. A desktop icon's name also changed to a series of plus signs. I turned it off/on but it didn't help.

Is the repeating region in a container with overflow:hidden?

I feel better knowing I wasn't going crazy this morning. After spending the last 15 hours tweaking iTunes Match, I was afraid the service was draining my battery, but then I just let it sit idle on my desk at work and periodicaly checked it, every 30 minutes I lost 5% when it was in standby. When I was checking mail in 5 minutes, the battery drained 1% each minute. After a full night charge last night the day of standby has brought me down to 43%. I normally charge my 4s every other night, and I listen to Pandora and TuneIn Radio regularly. I have a feeling it hasn't affected everyone, just like I had no issue before, but clearly have a massive issue now.
SERIOUSLY, APPLE. Make an announcement acknowledging this garbage. If my device doesn't get its normal battery life back, the poor folks at my local Apple Store are going to have my family and I raging the place.

Assuming you're creating this event to place in your calendar, and assuming this calendar is shared with your iMac and iPad using iCloud, might the calendar be restricted on your iPhone?
Check Settings > General > Restrictions
