Plus Version

Question

I am still trying to work out the proper refund through customer service, but I wanted to let anyone else who might be about to get into the same boat...
I had the Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements 7.0 "Plus" bundle, and I've been using the 20 GB of space on photoshop.com for the last year.  Since my photoshop.com subscription was about to expire when PSE/PE 8.0 was released, I figured I would just upgrade (and save a few dollars on the current year subscription to photoshop.com.
Well, it turns out that attaching the subscription to my existing adobe account only adds a new subscription (vice extending the current one).  Then, because I didn't see that this was the case, I was also charged the $50 to renew my photoshop.com plus subscription.  I am attempting to get the "new subscription" refunded, but I can't tell whether it's happening or not.
For me, it is frustrating since I contacted sales to ask whether I needed to purchase the standard or Plus versions as an existing photoshop.com plus member, and all they told me was that I needed to have the plus version to use the plus content on photoshop.com.
So...the short of it is to not purchase the plus version as an upgrade if you already have the plus version...unless anyone knows how to make sure the subscription tied to the new plus version can be tacked on to an existing one.

Well, it appears that customer dis-service thinks that cancelling the duplicate subscription without refunding the money spent on it is satisfactory...to somebody.

This is stealing $50, and I either want the year subscription added to my existing account...or a refund on the duplicate subscription.  Anything else, and I will...well, I guess the only thing I can do is raise a ruckus for those who might have otherwise purchased this product.  This will be posted in the PS.COM discussion groups as well.

PS Just so folks understand, the "duplicate subscription" problem is because of the way the adobe store adds a new subscription to an existing account, making it an un-usable duplicate that can never be logged into.  What should have happened is that it should have been added to the existing subscription life span once it was assigned to an account with an existing plan.  A few are aware of the problem, but I unfortunately contacted customer dis-service prior to helpful folks getting involved.  This means I have a never-used, cancelled subscription without refund.
