In pakistan all cariers network setting must define proxy and Port number but I no see any thing in setting

BPM Worklist Problem After Setting Frontend Host and Port
Hi all,
I was following the EDG for SOA 11.1.1.5 and was encountering a problem with the BPM Worklist after setting the Frontend Host and Port. We have a topology that includes a load balancer that terminates SSL, two OHS instances, and two SOA instances on separate VMs. When BPM Worklist was loading, it was calling webservices internally through the load balancer, but WebLogic was expecting them as http://. It was not able to resolve the HTTPS port that was being sent from the load balancer through the 80 to 443 redirect.
What the current EDG does not tell you, is that you have to also turn on "Enable Weblogic Plug-In" for WebLogic to use the OHS plug-in. I did it at the domain level, as all traffic will go through the load balancer. This essentially tells WebLogic that all URLs are https://
Here is an exerpt from the SOA.out log file:

What it is also missing, is that you should also set the SOA Infrastructure ServerURL mbean for the load balancer, to match the frontend host and port. Do this through Fusion Middleware Contol. Otherwise, you could encounter URL mismatches.

I've asked Oracle to add this to the EDG for SOA. It's in the IDM guide, but not in any other EDGs.Thanks Josh. It helped me infact in 11.1.1.4 Enable Weblogic Plug-In is not required. But 11.1.1.5 I thing it is mandatory. Oracle should have a clear documentaion.

Synchronizing Outlook Calendar and Contacts with Blackberry Q10
I got a new Blackberry Q10 device and wanted to synchronize it with my Outlook calendar and contacts on my notebook. I installed Blackberry Link on the notebook. But in a pop down menu I was only allowed to choose from 2 pst-files which are not the correct ones. The one I want to choose is in another folder. But how can I select this one to synchronize with?

Is the Microsoft Outlook profile that you're currently trying to access on an Microsoft Exchange server or is hosted at a different location? If so, you will not be able to access that PST with BlackBerry Link.
BlackBerry Link currently only supports local PST files.

Dedicated APN, proxy and Exchange
Hi there,
In our company, we connect to our corporate network via a private (O2) APN. All internet access passes through our corporate proxy server. Using iPCU I have successfully setup devices to connect to our APN using our proxy. However, when proxy settings are deployed I can't receive corporate mail from Exchange and I can't find anywhere where I can enter proxy exceptions for the exchange server.
Has anyone had this problem and can you help? Note - this is using proxy over 3G and NOT WiFi.
If I remove the proxy settings from my mobileconfig profile Exchange mail can be happily sent and received although it is not then possible to access the internet.
Your help is greatly appreciated!If anyone is interested in this, I have found a workaround but it is very messy...
Basically, if you setup your iPhone and back it up in iTunes and then edit the backup file - specifically the SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist - you can add proxy exceptions in there. You then need to reset all content and settings on device and then restore to the backup you have just edited to get those settings onto the phone.
Word of warning though - carrier updates prompted by iTunes appear to remove added exceptions if you accept them.
I hope that helps someone else.
Really though, it should be part of the iPhone Configuration Utility to just add proxy exceptions in. -
WRT54G Setting static ip and port forwarding for Xbox360
1)This is my first post and I'm a little new at this. I have a WRT54G v5 router with the latest firmware update. I have the proper ports fowarded that I found on this site. I basically want full priority to my xbox360 because I have been having some lag issues and dropping out of rooms, especially when someone is on the computer. I set a static ip on the xbox, I just picked 192.168.1.36 (Is that an ok #?).
2)I have everything hardwired so I disabled 'wireless access web" under administration and I also disabled "wireless network mode" under the "Wireless" section. Is this correct or ok?? I don't want my neighbors or anything wireless accessing my router, will that do the trick?
3)I'm looking at the first page you see at the linksys config page (under setup) and I see a section that says
Static DNS 1:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Static DNS 2:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Static DNS 3:xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
My question is do I need to put the static ip that I assigned to my xbox in one of these static DNS entry spots??
4)Under: Applications & Gaming>QoS I set Ethernet port 4 (the one my xbox is on) to high priority. Is that all I need to do to get priority to the xbox over the computer? Or do I need to enter something under "Device Priority" such as device name, mac address, etc.? And do I need to enter something under "Application priority" such as: Application Name, Optimize Gaming Applications, Priority, and Speciific port #, etc.??
5) Should I disable UPnP?
It's kind of a lot of questions but I really want to understand this fully, any help is greatly appreciated.Thanks alot!

Then change the Wireless Settings of your Router SSID , Channel : 11, Security : WEP Or WPA Persoanl.
Click on "Applications and Gaming" tab and then click on "Port Range Forwarding" subtab...
1) On the first line in Application box type in ABC, in the start box type in 53 and End box type in 53, leave the protocol as both and under ip address type in 192.168.1.20 and check the enable box...
2) On the second line in Application box type in PQR, in the start box type in 3074 and End box type in 3074, leave the protocol as both and under ip address type in 192.168.1.20 and check the enable box...
3) On the third line in Application box type in XYZ, in the start box type in 88 and End box type in 88, leave the protocol as both and under ip address type in 192.168.1.20 and check the enable box and click on Save Settings...
4) Once you return to the set up page click on the Security tab and uncheck Block Anonymous Internet Requests and click on Save Settings...
5) Click on set-up and change the MTU Size to 1452 and click Save Settings...
6) Goto the XBox Network Settings and IP Address Settings and select manual IP Settings and assign the following on your Xbox
IP Address :- 192.168.1.20, Subnet Mask :- 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway :- 192.168.1.1...
7) Also assign the DNS Addresses on the Xbox
Primary dns :- 4.2.2.2...Secondary dns :- 192.168.1.1..
8) Turn off your modem, router, and Xbox...Wait for a minute...
9) Plug the modem power first, wait for another minute and plug the router power cable, wait another minute and turn on the Xbox and test it...it will connect... -

I'm having issues setting up a script that enables the IE proxy with IP and port.
In the batch file I'm using the set command to make variables so my collegues don't have to change anything below a certain line.
Example:
set proxyip=192.168.1.10 %=change proxy IP%=
set proxyport=8080 %=change proxy port%=
Then I've tried to change it using the command line (registery) but for some reason it doesn't like the fact that I'm using these variables since it keeps adding everything in the IP box in IE which makes it look like: 192.168.1.10;:8080
When entering it manually without using the variables it's working fine as intended.
My next option was to look into an vbscript that I can call up from the batch file, however I don't have any experience with VBscript and I'm unable to find the right answer on the internet.
Basically what I'm looking for is a adjustment that allows me to provide the IP and port directly from the command line (for example: proxyscript.vbs /Address:"%proxyip%:%proxyport%"

The manual proxy settings keep defaulting to the wrong HTTP and port. This has caused me many hours of anguish. It works fine when I correct the settings but after you log off and then come back it has to be changed again. Is there anyway to fix it? Or can I go back to the previous version because 4 definitely has some issues (other than this one). I could live with it if I had to but I'm not the only one who uses this computer and they don't know how to make the changes. Thanks and I would definitely appreciate an answer.

Web Service Proxy with Dynamic IP and Port

I am currently looking at the Web Service Proxy generation in JDev 11g. I can generate proxies fine, but the proxies are generated with static host and port. I want to substitute the host and port during runtime if required, for instance read the values from a database. I need to do this to avoid compiling the application for every deployment we make dev, test and production. Is there an easy way to set the generated proxy host and port? Are there any examples?

Getting Proxy name and proxy port using Hostname and port

I my Application i am consuming webserice and i am setting proxy host and proxy port using the below code :

httpItf.setHTTPProxy("proxy", 8080);
But this "Proxy" is getting changed if the application is deployed to another network. (like some other landscape)
So Could it be possible to get the proxy dynamically depending on the Hostname and port.
such that it should automatically pick up the "ProxyHost" and "Proxy port".........depending upon the system it runs .
Please help me out here

On our BorderManager 3.8 server we've got a HTTP-proxy listening on port 8080. Now, a new external web-app requires a direct connection on port 8080 also. I thought about defining a statefull filter allowing port 8080 from internal to external for that specific site but I'm not sure if this would cause conflicts or security issues in any way. I don't think so, but because it's better to be safe than sorry....I thought I'd ask. ;-)

First, realize that the proxy is listening on port 8080 only for
requests coming to the proxy's IP address, so it's not going to
conflict with a request to port 8080 on a remote web site. What
should be happening here is that (on port 8080) you send the proxy a
request to a web site that uses port 8080. The proxy sends a request
to the web site using port 8080 instead of the usual port 80, that's
all.
What could well be a problem here is that the default 3.7-3.9 filter
exceptions do not allow port 8080 out from the public IP address of the
proxy. You will have to modify the default filter exceptions to allow
that traffic, whether you want to connect directly through NAT or
through the proxy. My advice is to connect through the proxy, and
modify the filter exceptions to allow the traffic.
At the least, you could configure a custom filter exception for
stateful port 8080, like the defaults. Look at the defaults in
FILTCFG.NLM to see how they are done, and add a new one.
Personally, I don't like to add custom filter exceptions one-by-one for
every non-standard web server out there. I use a more global approach,
detailed in the advanced chapter of my BMgr filtering book (see url
below).

How do I set up my air port extreme to do port forwarding? Running 10.7.4 I have a IP camera on my local wireless net work that I want to use from my iPhone 4s and other computers.
In most cable systems, the router you have will plug into your modem and just work automatically. A NAT (Network Address Translation) router takes your external IP and hands out LAN (Local Area Network) based IPs. All of the devices you are working with right now should handle the change automatically unless you've changed from the default automatic configuration.
The problem with your wireless end of this is that the iPhone is not yet 802.11n, only 802.11g. Because that router is not dual band, all of your wifi devices will be forced to slow down to 802.11g speeds. This won't matter much for each device that's connecting to the internet, as your bottleneck is still going to be there. Where you will see slowdowns is device to device connections, like transferring data between the devices. -
