Hi Gurus,
Current Indicator in RT table have the values as A and P. So as payroll is run in the month Feb and retro run for Jan also. There are two result in RT with the Current Indicator A(Feb) and P(Jan retro) OR both have the same indicator as A and P for the previous Payroll RUN...
Please clear this ..

I want to know how to include selected fields under this role?* This is a Basis activity or ABAP Activity.*
Basis team told that its a abap activity, create a z field group and give to us, we will add this zfield group into that particullar ZROLE.
Is its correct?

I believe your BASIS Team is right. They can only restrict upto the Txn Code Level from the BASIS Security feature.
Post this thread in BASIS Forum also so as to get the feel from BASIS Experts.

Problem I am facing here is when report loads the screen once and I am filling all the valuse in the Tab Screen 200 and 201 and executing the report and when I am reloading any other variant then it is not clearing the valuse present in the Tab Screen 200 and 201.
Can any buddy help me regarding this to clear the Tab Screen 200 and 201.

I have tested the scenario which you have mentioned above, Its working fine for me.
I have filled all the values in screen 200 and 201 as well and saved it as variant Test1, and again
I have filled all the values in screen 200 and 201 as well and saved it as variant Test2.
When I am changing the variants from Test1 to Test2 and vice versa. I displaying their respective data as well.

How to clear the table contents for the new selection values?

Im developing some very basic web dynpro applications.I have created one application to demonstrate use of SERVICE CALL.Now in one of the COntext Nodes,I have one attributes as TABLE.I have 2 input fields and when i enter any sel critteria in these 2 fields,the table is populated accordingly.Now when i change the value in the input fields,the new output gets appended in the output TABLE.How do I clear the contents of the OUTPUT table attribute in the method?
Can someone tell me the common methods used with context nodes like REFRESHING,CLEARING etc?How do I know which methods to call for what action of the nodes ...like for binding internal table to any context node we use the method BIND_TABLE...
Any inputs will be highly appreciated.

To clear the contents of the node, use invalidate method.
data: l_node type ref to if_wd_context_node.
l_node = wd_context->get_child_node( 'NODENAME' ).
l_node->invalidate( ). " all the data in the node will be cleared
To clear a single attribute you can use set_attribute_null.

Hi SRM Gurus,
We have upgraded from SRM 3.0 to SRM 7.0 thro' Double step upgrade.
We are in SRM 7.0 SP06
Scenario :Extended Classic Scenario
After the Upgrade we have created a shopping cart from SRM-MDM catalog.
Shopping cart is approved.Local Purchase order is not ordered but it is
saved. When we Edit the Purchase order and press the Check button
defect noticed" Plese clear the price (or) set the invoice expected
indicator.
This happens only after the Upgrade.
even for the old purchase order when we do changes we are getting the above defect
can you please advice us.
whether any SAP notes to be applied. I have checked in SAP market place,there is no SAP NOTES

I have checked the Purchase order for the newly created one in SRM 7.0
If we go to the supplier list we can check for the invoice expected indicatoe where we can check this.
It is working, I resolved on my own.
For all the OLD purchase order created before upgrade if i change and check even though the invocie indicator is checked
i get the above message."Please clear the price/ set the invoice expected indicator"
any one working on SRM 7.0 can please check and reply

Doubts regarding the CTTYP field after a PU12 run

Hi Everyone,
I had some doubts regarding PU12. When I maintain the IT16 data for an employee belonging to Employee Group/Subgroup E/52, I want to keep the contract type blank. However, when I do this, CTTYP is not sent through in the IDoc after PU12 processing. I would like to know if this is standard behaviour. (If it is maintained as say unlimited contract, the field is sent through with the value 01) If I would like to send CTTYP through as 00, can I do it? Would I have to maintain a conversion? As of now, this field is configured as a key field in my system.

I presume that you cave a template for your documents with unsigned signature fields. Add a text filed (or other field type that you wish to use) to this template. Then you will be able to fill in this field after signing.

It should work fine for iPhone/iPad because we can enable "Restrictions" to prevent the user from signing out of iCloud. Do we have simialr settings for the macbook?

If it's not on the device list, it indicates that someone has gone to Find My iPhone on icloud.com and manually deleted it from the device list (as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmfc0eeddd), and it has not gone back online since (which would cause it to reappear on the device list; Find My iPhone has been turned of in settings on the device; the iClolud account has been deleted from the device; or the entire devices has been erased and restored.
Unfortunately, there's no other way to track the phone other than through Find My iPhone. You could call your carrier and see if they would blackliste it so at least the theif couldn't use it.

Clearing the displayed value for a SELECT-OPTION

How do I clear the displayed value of a SELECT-OPTION?
I have 2 SELECT-OPTIONs on my screen (standard basic report program screen). I use code like this to populate the drop-down boxes for each one.

AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE-REQUEST FOR s_prctr-low.
PERFORM fill_prctr_values.

The value the user picks for the first SELECT-OPTION will affect what values I put in the drop-down list for the second SELECT-OPTION.
If a user enters a value for the second SELECT-OPTION, and then goes back and changes the value of the first SELECT-OPTION, then I want to do two things:
1. Create a new set of values for the drop-down list for the second SELECT-OPTION (no problem; working fine);
2. Clear the displayed value from the second SELECT-OPTION that the user entered previously. That value became invalid when the user picked a new value for the first SELECT-OPTION.
How do I clear that second displayed value?
I have tried CLEAR and REFRESH for the second variable using the formats s_prctr, s_prctr[], and s_prctr-low. They will erase the values of the internal table or part(s) of it, but the displayed value stays on the screen.
I need to clear out the displayed value so the user will either leave it blank or enter or select a new value.
I am using F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST to build the drop-down lists, and it works fine, but I do not see any function module to clear the displayed value off the screen.

Sorry, but calling DYNP_VALUES_UPDATE did not work. This is how I coded it.

I have discovered that CLEAR and REFRESH of s_prctr will clear it somewhat. If I enter multiple values, ranges, etc., they will all be cleared, EXCEPT for the one single value that is displayed on the main screen. It is not cleared and it remains if you push the button to display the pop-up to enter ranges, etc.
To devrath.sampat -- Thanks for your example for building the drop-down list, but that is not the problem I am having. I am already able to build it just fine.
To repeat my problem, if I:
1. first enter / select a value for the first SELECT-OPTION s_prgrp
2. then enter / select a value for the second SELECT-OPTION s_prctr
3. And finally go back and select a new value of the first SELECT-OPTION s_prgrp from its drop-down list,
     when I do, the program needs to clear the value displayed on the main screen for the second SELECT-OPTION s_prctr (any additional values, ranges, etc., are cleared by CLEAR and REFRESH, if I go look; but not the value shown on the main screen).

I'll try to build form for search. There are LOV and
search button on form. When user don't select anything then push
search button, I'd like the report to show query everything. I
mean the report will show like condition where id like '%'.
And I send variable between form to report by using session
store.
I select nothing in LOV but value that return by LOV is
not null. It's in stead of old value of LOV.

when we validate the selection screen elements, if it come acrosses any error condition it disables every field in theselection-screen enabling the error field(error value is still present). this works fine here.
but i need to clear the values present in that field.to retain the values im using memory ids.

Use FREE MEMORY.
FREE MEMORY deletes the entire ABAP memory including all the data that was exported with EXPORT TO MEMORY ID key.

I have created the same scenario as mentioned in Siva's weblog (Lookup's in XI made simpler).
I having some doubts regarding the scenario, it will be great if you help me to resolve the same.
I am having a file-file scenario where I need to do lookup in database(MS-Access) through mapping.
The standard file-file scenario is in place and in addition I have created a receiver jdbc channel . I have also created the receiver agreement for the same in the cofiguration.
While creating the receiver agreement you have to specify the interface name which includes the message typeI have specified the normal format which we specify while configuring the jdbc receiver adapter.
In the message mapping I have created a advance user defined function as mentioned in your weblog which calls my receiver jdbc channel.
I have also specified the select query to be executed in the mapping program.
While testing I am getting the following error
Cannot produce target element /ns0:Role_MT/URole. Check xml instance is valid for source xsd and target-field mapping fulfills requirements of target xsd
<b>Can you please suggest me what all I need to do in addition to the file-file scenario for this lookup scenario to work.</b>
