PLZ explain DOT settings

can one of you gents provide a link or tell me here what exactly the settings for dymanic overclocking do, i cant find anything in the manual nor here.
what exactly is the purpose of private seargent capt general settings
i have found no difference when using each setting and rebooting.
seriously what are these supposedly suppose to do ?
i assume General means more flexibility and choices when overclocking. and private limits your overclocking.
but appearently, they dont do anything, at least for me.
thats not entirely true, i believe yesterday when i was messing with them, Private caused the AGP and PCI frequency to raise when i overclocked the FSB, but after trying it again, it stopped. meaning it never changed.
which is best. General, Private, Disabled, Colonel  ?
and WHY oh WHY did MSI make the AGP/PCI frequency have only 3 settings! ?? this is so frustrating as i would like to bump up those settings only a SMALL amount but i cant, it takes a huge jump instead of tiny steps. same with the voltage settings, that is a very poor choice for MSI to make the voltage's only go up in .5 or .05 volt increments.  can MSI PLEASEPLEASE PLEASE add this to the next bios so we can increase voltages by .1 or .01 ? PLEASE!
i know Infineon DDR isnt the best, but why do i have to set the PAT on SLOW.  everything else causes lockups and reboots in windows even when i do NOT overclock
. this is VERY VERY frustrating becuase i am loosing alot of performance when i have to set the RAM to  SLOW.
also how can i tell if i have the 865PE NEO2  or the 865PE NEO2 PFISR ??  i thought when i got this mobo it was the PFISR, but looking at pictures the PFISR does NOT have a northbridge FAN.  MY mobo has the Northbridge fan and blinking LED lights,  (which btw is really cool but they only blink 1/2 the time, most of the time they are solid color)
many thanks in advance for your help!
Lestat.

D.O.T = Dynamic Overclocking Technology.
It's just a layman method of overclocking your CPU speed and at the same time adjusting the RAMs performance to suit the flow after o/c. Capability of o/c will be dependent on how much your system can handle with the hardwares that you've got, ranged between 3% to 10%. The traditional way of o/c'ing is by adjusting your FSB to your needs and DRAM Freq and timings to suit the speed D.I.Y. I preferred the traditional ways of o/c so disabled D.O.T and D.I.Y is the BEST !
The reason why you can't get above slow is due to the your RAMs vs the CPU(after o/c) as timings tends to run too tight in certain occasions and freezes or restarts will occur during these periods, some even suffer BSOD. If you want to get above slow for PAT, you can try some other RAMs like HyperX etc. Surf through the forums to get a better understanding 1st.
AGP/PCI Freq is something that I can really agree with you on as many has got this 1MHz increment thingy for this area already, I would not list which manufacturers.
MSI Neo2 FIS2R is the one with NB Fans & Fancy lights, Promise Controller for both IDE and SATA Raid, whereas the MSI Neo2 PFISR is the one without the Promise controllor, but instead a VIA controller is there to control SATA drives and RAID Funtion, please note that there'll be no availability of IDE Raid for this model and the NB Heatsink is fanless.

Top download and install apps you need space available on the iPod equal to about three time the file download size.  If you download more than one app at a time you need about three times the total file download size available so it is better if short on storage to purchase one at a time.

Every input/output field on the screen has its own name.(for example: RV45A-KETDAT)
    PERFORM BDC_FIELD USING 'RV45A-KETDAT' '21.10.2008'.
means fill the date '21.10.2008' into the screen field 'RV45A-KETDAT'.
    CONCATENATE 'RV45A-MABNR(' N ')' INTO TEMP.
    PERFORM BDC_FIELD USING TEMP WA_ITEMS-MABNR.
There are some special input fields on the screen (table control). In fact, it's a table.
    RV45A-MABNR
    RV45A-KWMENG
    other fields...
    RV45A-MABNR(01)
    RV45A-KWMENG(01)
    RV45A-MABNR(02)
    RV45A-KWMENG(02)
    RV45A-MABNR(..)
    RV45A-KWMENG(..)
    RV45A-MABNR(N)
    RV45A-KWMENG(N)
so, the code means fill the values line by line.
and, I recommend you to learn more basic knowledge of dynpro.

Okay. I think we've been here before.
How far have you got so far?
When you say "excel" do you really mean an "MS excel" file or do you mean a CSV file?
What are you using to read the excel file at the moment? Are you reading the excel file yet? Do you need to do anything with the data in the excel file? Do you have the option to retrieve the data in any other format?
What should the pdf file look like?
Please, take the time to explain your problem and circumstances. Just telling us "tell me wht is the solution for this task" doesn't cut it, "Plz " or no "Plz ".

  • Can someone explain bitrate settings in Adobe Media Encoder?

    Hi, there.
I have a problem understanding the bitrate settings when trying to encode an FLV for Flash 8 or higher, using two passes.  When you choose to use two passes, you are presented with a bunch of different options, including "Minimum Bitrate [%target]", "Maximum Bitrate [%target]", and "Bitrate Variability [%target]".  These are not really explained properly in the online manuals I've seen out there.  Let's say you want to have a Costant bitrate (CBR) of 900 kbps, and you want to have two encoding passes, what do you set the other sliders to?  I can't make heads or tails out of them.  The defaults are
    Minimum Bitrate [%target] 80
    Maximum Bitrate [%target] 120
    Bitrate Variability [%target] 80
         Thanks for your help.

Here is a little more background info concerning selecting a bitrate for video delivered over the Web:
    Video bit rate
One of the principle of goal setting is to "Begin with the end in mind". In this case it'll be very hard to give good recommendations because the end is not defined. So I'll just make a few assumptions and you can correct me as needed.
First, I'll assume that since you are converting to Flash, you want to deliver this video over the Internet. If that's true, then we'll have to make some assumptions on the Internet connection download speeds of your potential viewers. Let's just say that most have at least a 1.5Mb connection or faster.
OK, that would mean that a video bitrate of half that should usually provide a video download that is not interupped by buffering (most of the time anyway). So assuming a video bitrate of 750kbps, what would the optimum display dimensions be?
Before we decide, here's a little info about bitrate. For highest quality playback, the video bitrate is tied directly to the display dimensions. That is, the larger the display, the more incoming data is required to properly display the video. Think of bitrate in terms of a can of paint. If you have 1 quart of paint, you might be able to do a very nice job on a 32 X 24 foot area. But if you try to stretch that same amount of paint out over a 64 X 48 foot area, the coverage will not be nearly as good and you get poor results.
In the same way, a video displayed at 640 X 480 pixels will require 4 times the bitrate as a video displayed at 320 X 240 pixels to produce the same quality. So for example a video with a bitrate of 100kbps, displayed at 160 X 120 will produce the same quality results as a video with a bitrate of 1600kbps if displayed at 640 X 480.
So to boil it all down, video bitrates of 750kbps, even up to 1000kbps can usually get delivered of the Internet on most high speed connections. Higher bit rates may work for really fast connections but will cause problems for viewers with slower connections. Video display size has a direct bearing on the final quality. In the 750 to 1000kbps range, display size should be kept around 450 or 500 width max (and whatever height the aspect ratio calls for). Yes it can be displayed larger, but the quality will suffer.
Sound like your audio settings are fine, especially for Internet delivery.
As for framerate, maintain the original raw video framerate for best results. So if the video was shot at 24fps, leave it.
As for video converters, do you have the Flash 8 Video Converter? It works just fine for video to be delivered over the Internet. Remember, you are taking a Cadillac version of video (h.264 HD) and stuffing it into a Chevy body to get it to work over the Internet.
    Best of luck!

  • Small confusion about aggregates and attribute change run.. plz explain

    hi bw experts,
i am having a small confusion regarding the aggregates and attribute change run.
as far as in know if there is any new master data loaded, then we will activate it by context menu on the particular info object and select the option activate master data.
the second one is going to tools--?apply hierarchy/attribute change run option.
my doubt is is the attribute change run related to aggregates is yes then how,.?
appreciated if you plz help me in detail both these concepts and wherther there is any connection between them.
    thanks & regards.
    vijay..

    Hi Vijay sagar,
    ATTRIBUTE CHANGE RUN:
1)It's used after you change (add/delete/modify) attribute in the master data. You've to make it in order to have an effect after you modify it.
2)Once the master data has been loaded, the hierarchy/attribute change run is performed. Once this process chain has been ended correctly, master data and texts are available in an active format in SAP BW.
    To get it :
    1. tcode : RSA1.
    2. Tools -> Apply Hierarchy/Attribute Change
    3. tap on Info-object list button (checking what master data you've modified before).
    4. tap on selection button for type of job
    5. Execute.

    AGGREGATES:
1)Aggregates make it possible to access InfoCube data quickly in reporting. In doing so, aggregates help improve performance. (See Aggregate.)
2)In order to be able to insert aggregates effectively, it is important to find out which aggregates are frequently used or have not been used in a long time.
3)Aggregates contains not only general data but also data that appears in an aggregate after data is filled and rolled up. Reporting in this InfoCube reveals how often data was loaded into an aggregate, how long filling and rolling up took, and whether it took longer to read or write the data.
4)Adding when Rolling Up in Aggregate  counts the time required to write the data to the aggregate.
The Records, Read for Aggregate Structure key figure  counts the data records that are read for constructing the aggregate.

    do
something that what's up could interpret as a down and re-up again.
    Any thought about this ?
By the way, i did roll back to 5.53 for the tcp like you suggested, @
    first,
i got a fatal warning that a critical error happened and i couldn't
    access
any nic card bind to tcp without an error, so i just re-initialize the
interface and reboot the server. It's now working, and i hope for a
    long
    long time !
Did you have any issues regarding the tcpip 5.93 with border manager
    3.6 ?
Isn't novell gonna patch this in the next service pack or do we need
    to back
it up before any future service pack ?
Again Craig, thanks a lot for your help !
