PLZ HELP EVERYONE

Okay guys,
I bought one for xmas for myself anbd i had to leave the country for vacation that<s mainly why i bought it. Anyway yea, since monday i entered my cruise it screwed up cuz of those security scan i dunno what to do its showing up the little ! message when i try to open it i tried to toggle hold...and mnmenu and select but doesnt work tried to plug it to a pc doesnt work either the pc does reconize it as an ipod but the screen of the ipod is like the old one not in color or anything showing not disconnect and charging but itunes and ipod updater doesnt show up im really stuck do i need internet on the laptot to make it work plz help guys im stuck in the middleof the ocean so i really dunno how to fix it.

I hope its gonna work now switched computer, sorry those pc in this ship suck lol.
Anyway the folder with the ! appear when i try to open my ipod since monday, when i went throughout the security thing to get to the ship. Since then, i tried to do the first thing they say
1.Toggle hold and the menu secet trick
2.Plug it to a computer(doesnt have internet) but the thing is when i cnnect it it shows that it charge and do not discnnect but its an older screen its not the one i used to get it seems like an older ipod software .... Second problem when i connect it its that ITUNES and IPOD updater cant reconize it but the pc does it shows APPLE IPOD when i go check what is on my usb port. I dont really know what to do since the pc doesn<t reconize it i cant even restore it.
Plz i hope u guys can help ur my last hope.

It was not legitimately unlocked by the carrier it was originally locked to. ONLY the carrier it is locked to can authorize unlocking it.
In order to allow it to be used on a different carrier, the phone was hacked or jailbroken. An unauthorized modification was made to the phone. That modification has damaged the phone. You can not get support for it here or from Apple.

Conversion Routine... plz help

There is a text field in R3 called as SGTXT related to some finance table... some of the records in this field directly start with '#' character and then the details.. Well here is the problem.. I m loading to ODS 0FIAR_O04 and it ends up in error due to the above mentioned problem.. the infoobject which carry the data from SGTXT field is 0POSTXT...
I decided to go for a conversion routive in transfer rule for this field.. but i dont know how to write routines.. can you plz help me with the steps as well as the code to remove '#' from SGTXT.... Thanks.

I solved the same problem by using indexed color images instead of true color.
So, for example, if you have a colorful background you can convert it to a 256 color image.
Depending on your specific image and the devices you'll see it on you may or may not notice the difference, but the file size is generally smaller.
Then you can push further for smaller elements, like, say, a moving object like a pointer or a starship, you can reduce it to 60 or 30 colors, or even less.
Another technique is to use tiles to build up the background instead of big images. With MIDP2.0 there's the TiledLayer, but you can implement the same with some code also on MIDP1.0 if backward compatibility is of concern.

can anyone plz tell me how to pass parameters like user name,password,etc.. from a j2me midlet to a jsp page running in tomcat server?
i tried passing parameters in http connection through url as:

you have written in URL i sperfectly right but if this is also not complete one.
i.e url = "http://localhost:8080/dir/xxx.jsp?userName=jasmit&password=vala"
now when u establishing connection i.e
HttpConnection con = (HttpConnection) Connector.open(url,3);
this will work as an declaration but if u want to send that parameter for that you have to get response from the server and that time only original connection is going to establish i.e
when u r writting
int responseCode = con.getResponseCode();
if(reponseCode == 200)
then ur parameter were passed to jsp page.
in jsp page u have to get parameter using request class
String userName = request.getParameter("userName").toString();
String password = request.getParameter("password").toString();

I have nokia 5800 and i like it very much... But i have a problem with it ..... the problem that when i download any thing from nokia OVI Store from my mobile like: Games, apps and videos when download finished and starting to install the games or the apps it's say's: "installation failed" and when i redownload it again nothing change and keep saying "installation failed" ........ and i noted that when i install app ( themes, apps and games ) on my mobile by ovi suite or by file manager it also say's to me "Expired Certificat" even if i signed this apps but it alwyas say's "Expired Certificat"....... for this problem i did: hard reset - format my mobile - format my sd card - update my mobile to v40 - but the problem never stops to return in a few hours ..... then i find out that when i need to install any app on my mobile (by ovi suite or ovi store in my mobile or file manager) i have to switch off the mobile and turn it on again to install what ever i want ...... so Plz help me out
PS: 1- I have 2 friends having the same problem that i have and they did what i did
2- my mobile software v. when the problem stated v31
3- my memory card 8 GB the orginal one

Are you able to confirm whether the case is warping or whether it's a simple case of the hinge not be quite aligned. There's a big difference. If it concerns you then take it to an Apple Store and have a Genius look at it.
This sort of thing does happen and does not affect the use of your MBP. I personally wouldn't worry about if it doesn't affect your ability to close the lid although everyone is different.

my n79 gets hang constantly nowadays.. i've used this phone for 1 year plus now so warranty's no more..... none of the buttons on the keypad works when it gets hang.. onli the power button is functioning.. now it's gettin worse .. it even hangs before i insert my pincode... i cant sms, call , or anything.. it hangs after i pressed a few buttons..
so ivee u've fixed ur n79 youself right..? umm.. can u explain to me wat a smallboard is? is that the board at the lower part of the keypad where u can see buttons underneath the white layer? and is that board expensive?

The best way to receive a file from another device via bluetooth is to go to Media, then press Menu, choose Receive Using Bluetooth, waiting for connection will be display, then send from the other device. It should work without hassle.

One can see in the answer that its a huge number when one is expecting it to be somewhere around:
EXPECTED ANSWER:
*5000 * 800 nanos( it takes 800 nanos for very increment) = 4000000 = 4 millis and its like 9014 millis*
How is there such a huge difference ????????? I have bruised thorugh it for like 3 days... i have lost all my hope.. Plz help..Also look at the next code..
When i go to see in the log .. it shows me that every record took like from 2000 nanos to 6 to 7 millis i.e.7000000...
HOw is this even possibly possible ??? where did it get all this extra time from...it should not be more than some 700 to 900 nanos ..
Is there a bottleneck somewhere ????

My (humble) advise is:
1. WTF are you doing trying to measure the time taken to execute a [unirary operation|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unary_operation] (you putz!) which is just like so freeken small (on a 2Ghz CPU) that even a gazzillion invocations might take less time than it took you get your duds off in order to earn your reputation as a putz!
2. FFS, Don't write profiling code in your app... just download one. VisualVM is way cool!
3. As you would know, if you had bothered to actually RTFM at any stage in your (bugging;-) career... synchronized methods are slow(er) because of the farckin time taken to acquire and release the lock... as well as the inherent inefficiency of bottlenecking a whole method, as apposed to just the critical statements... which in the case of a simple incrementor is just about no near new never mind... so no never mind... but still the fact remains... you've turned an atomic operation (google it yourself) into a bottleneck... and then you're standing there whining about bottlenecks. Doh!
4. Seriously dude, read the effin manual.

I'm new at java,I mean that i just started learning how to program in Java and i have a problem while compiling my fisrt program in Java!
Firstly,i have to say that i have downloaded the jre-1_5_0_04-windows-i586-p.exe and installed it in my pc.From the installation a Java folder was being created.
I used Cygwin(an editor on my PC) in order to write the program :

Then after storing the program i tried to compile it using javac and it outputted :

I tried then to use sthg else(java only,not javac) and it outputted

I mean that ,shall i use a different editor or sthg else?

folderYou should definitely not do this.
and then compile it will surely work. Bye.You can compile it, though, after saving it to a better place. That's what the path is for. You wouldn't set the path if you were going to store everything in the bin folder.
Instead, store it in a java specific folder under My Documents (Windows) or your home directory.

Hey everyone last night my Zen touch froze up on me while i was listening to it so i hit the little restart botton and i thought everything was cool until i tried to do anything in recovery mode first i tried to do the clean up but nothing happened so i went down to format all and a sign popped up saying harddisk problem so i went to reload firmware and again the sign popped up saying harddisk problem so i went to reboot and that worked but it put me right back in to recovery mode and i just want to get out of recovery mode and listen to my music i have tried everything someone plz HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hardware can be quite unpredictable at times. I ever bought a 20Gb hard disk and when I fix it on back at home, it just died. That is a case I never forget. Take back to shop and they do a on exchange. It is only for one day right out of the box fresh!!!! And sometimes the fault seem to be in that particular batch that is shipped in. So one got fault others all got the same fault.
For your case maybe it is the same? :smileytongue:
