Plz help!!!!! im stuck
i just got an ibook g4 for free from my dad its great, very useful, but i cant get the internet to work on it i have a brodband connection with my other computer which is a dell. i have tryed putting the eithernet cable in and usb cable but it dosent work. my friend just got a macbook and all he had to do was put the eithernet cable in and he was off surfing the net. plz tell me what to do

First of all, you need to update your profile to give information about your Mac. In addition to G4 iBook, tell us Operating System, what size G4, how much RAM, HD size etc.
i have tryed putting the eithernet cable in and usb cable but it dosent work.
Connect your computer to the cable modem via the ethernet port.
With your computer booted go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Network. Click on Network icon.
Set your location on Automatic.
Under Show, select built-in ethernet.
Click on Ethernet tab
Seclect Configure: Automatically
Click Apply Now
If this does not work for you click for the setup assistant.

I recommend you check exchange setup log to make sure whether you have install exchange server successfully.
Please check if there is proper disk space.

I upgraed my iphone to ios 7 but its dosent work like app stor dosent install any brogram or update programs and its slow and stuck plz help meMy iPhone 5 wouldn't start after I turned it off a few minutes after writing this. It went into recovery mode and I had no choice but to connect to iTunes on PC and restore.
I restored to factory setting first, just to validate my phone was okay. For a second consecutive iOS update, the iPhone 5 did not update smoothly while connected to PC and iTunes - I had to retry two times before the progress bar for the update showed. (The exact same problem with the restart occured when I updated to 7.0.4.)
The good news is that I was ultimately able to restore the iPhone 5 to factory settings while running iOS 7.0.6. I did have a backup from about a month ago lying around and was able to successfully restore with that as well, so the damage done is almost negligible since I had my contacts, notes, mail, etc. backed up to iCloud.
Once I completed both restores, the sync with iTunes worked fine. -

later on in the program we r using name and text fields but in this when i debugged it is nt able to identify name and text fields only showing the value of id bcoz id is also dere in textpool structure. -

If your connection won't 'stick', check for interference in that area from other devices on competing channels, etc.
Configure your choice of band/channel with interference robustness, but mainly reduce the sources to be sure it's not just a too noisy environement.
Still no joy, be sure your software is up to date and then walk it into the nearest Apple store for a professional opinion
