My iphone 4 is getting restarted everytime I am clicking on Camera icon !
I tried , reset .. restoring .. format .. but nothing seems to be working for me !
My OS version is 4.3.5 !

It MAY be a bug in 5.1 or It may have to do with something else. I'd reccommend a backup and restore.

iPhone 3GS, iOS 6Your iPhone was "unofficially" unlocked by some means to work with a different carrier. Now that you have updated it has relocked to the original carrier. If you do not know who the original carrier was you will need to call AppleCare and give them the model and serial number of your iPhone. Then you will need to contact that carrier to see if they have a process to unlock the phone and if you qualify.

Help - CS4 batch processing keeps opening Camera Raw

'action' I have been using for months with no issues.
Just a simple resize to 850pixels, and 'file place' watermark'
well this morning I began experimenting with opening jpegs in camera raw to alter them a group at a time.. well the files are still jpegs but now whenever I try to batch process anything in CS4 it seems to try to open Camera Raw.. well it does open Camera Raw and it stops the whole batch process

IPhone 5 restarts when opening texts
I bought an iPhone 5 on launch day and that same day, my phone restarted itself when opening a text directly from the lock screen. I didn't think much of it then and just went on with it but then within the next three weeks, it happened to my phone three more times. I figured Apple would have me restore my phone before swapping it out for me so I went ahead and did that on my own, before calling Apple's tech support about the issue.
My phone seemed to be working fine, after doing the restore, but then the next day, it did the same restart thing twice, when trying to open texts. So that was six times that it happened to me within a month so I finally called Apple and they told me I'd done everything they would've recommended I do so they went ahead and set up a Genius Bar appointment for me to get it replaced.
The next day, I get my phone replaced by Apple and everything seemed to be working ok after the first few days... But then exactly one week after getting it replaced, it happens again! I've now had the replacement phone for 10 days and it has happened to me three more times.
I've tried searching forums about this issue but haven't found anything so I thought I'd share it with you all, in case any of you have heard anything about this or if it's happened to any of your phones.
And by the way, I originally set up both phones as new phones, when I got them so I know it isn't an issue with an iCloud restore.I have an iPhone 4 , had it for maybe 4 months and it had started doing the same thing with no rhyme or reason for it , some times it will do it 2 or 3 times in a row other times will not do it at all, it's very disappointing considering this is my first apple devise and it's already got issues , I'm not gonna mess with it, it will be going back to the place of purchase ASAP . This one thread is all I have been able to find about this problem so it seems to me this is a very very rare problem

IPhone shuts down when opening camera
This has happened several times, and I'm sick of it...
From time tot time, when I open the iPhone camera application and start recording, my iPhone (4s) just shuts down...
I still have a high battery-percentage (50%, 30%, 70%, whatever) and when I plug it in, it starts again at this percentage...
Sometimes I'm able to video-record at 5%, sometimes it just shuts down at 50%...
What causes this? And more importantly, how can I fix this?Welcome to the discussions,
did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes up again? If still no change, a restore "as new iphone" would be the next step. In that case don't use your backup to get your data back, it may contain damaged files causing your problem.

Someone plz help. iphone usb connection problems
hi guys. ive been trying to get pictures off my iphone but my computer isnt recognising my phone. its never happened before.
usually it comes up with autoplay asking whether or not i want to open folder to view files, import pictures etc. if not it shows my iphone in my computer but now none of that is happening. although it charges when i plug it in and shows up in itunes and all but i need to get pictures off it and thats the only way.
ive tried everything under the sun. all my usb ports, other computers, device manager, played around with autoplay,restoring my phone, everything! i went to the apple store and all they suggested was the restore. somebody please help me! dont know what else to do.

Message was edited by: chiara21If you have a Push email account (such as Mobile ME, Exchange or Yahoo) go into Settings/mail,contacts,calendar, tap on the account, and switch it OFF. Then press home. Reboot (Hold HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears). After it finishes booting go back to settings and turn that account back ON. Note that your are turning the ACCOUNT off, not turning PUSH off.

Please Help! getting miniDV video from camera to FCP

I am new here and would greatly appreaciate any advice or help anyone can offer.
So I have Final Cut Pro v.6 and a brand new Mac Book. I am wanting to make "How to" videos for work with my sony miniDV camera and edit the footage in Final Cut Pro.
Does anyone know the correct hook up for transfering the miniDV video from the camera and into FCP?
Obviously I am an amateur beginner and if anyone could help out with the answer or maybe know some other place I can research for the answer?

Your camera may be connected to you MB through Firewire (4 to 6 pins).
Once that's done open FCP and use the very good manual coming with it.
Main menu>help.
Then type in the search are *Easy Setup*. Here you will learn a quick way to setup your project.

well last night i turned my iphone on airplane mode and used a aux jack to listen to music on my speakers, well this morning whenever i try to make a call it goes threw to the other person but my mic and ear speaker go completely dead, if i hit speakerphone they can here me and i them (although quiet but its always been that way).. Please does any have this problem and if so how did they fix it
Plug your earpiece in again and quickly unplug it. Do that a couple more times and see if that restores proper function of the earpiece and speaker on the iPhone. It's been an issue reported before, and the quick plugging/unplugging of the earpiece has usually resolved it.

Help - Cannot get flash to open, keeps terminating after fatal exception
Says "FlashPro encountered a fatal exception. FlashPro will now terminate" Makes a log and says to enter a bug. Of course there doesn't seem to be anywhere to actually contact support or enter a bug.
There is another discussion with a similar issue and there are about 11 replies of people asking what thaey can do with no answers. Figure I might start afresh.
The main bug report form at https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform literally has almost every program EXCEPT Flash. bugbase.adobe.com only covers about 6 products, flash not one and them and the file attachment doesn't support the dump files flash created (.mdmp) so that can't possibly be of help.
I own a couple of creative suite licenses and just installed a trial of CS6 to check it out. I used it once to save down some files and then it just stopped working for me. I've re-booted, uninstalled and reinstalled Flash etc to no avail..

My friend bought an iphone 4 from Apple store canada for full price but when i get that in Pakistan it turn out to be locked..He also forget to bring the receipt of purchase with him and now when i talk to apple store person he is insisting that he want that receipt no..But my question is why he cant get the information by having my serial no of product..And also that friend of mine will be going back to Canada at the end of march so what should i do ..should send that phone with him to replace it with apple store or what ...Really confused as at that time it will be approx 3 months passed away since he purchase the product in January so will the apple store replace the product with the factory unlocked one ????? Plz help its getting on my nerves..

No, only that it "appears" your friend purchased a locked phone. Only the carrier an iPhone is locked to can authorize the phone's official unlocking. If you have a locked phone, you need to contact the carrier the phone is locked to to see if they offer unlocking and if they do, what the cost/procedure is. Note: almost all carriers that offer unlocking will only do so for existing customers...i.e...you'd have to first establish service with that carrier. Note also: Not all Canadian carriers offer unlocking.
Considering where you live, your best bet is most likely to sell the phone & purchase another truly unlocked phone.
so what about the 1 year warranty that comes with the new purchase ???
None of this affects your warranty, although since you purchased the phone in Canada, the warranty is only valid in Canada. -

1-restarted db listener
2-Disabled Distributed JVM Cache by changing "LONG_RUNNING_JVM=" from "true" to "false" in the oc4j.properties.

i am writing it here for some future reference ...
open a new shell and set your apps environment
then goto following directory -------->>> cd $ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME
stop this service ---->>> adopmnctl.sh stop
make a check if it is really down--------->>> ps -ef | grep <USER> grep opm (optional)
delete the following:
rm -fr $INST_TOP/ora/10.1.3/j2ee/oacore/persistence/* (optional but it would be better if u perform it)
rm -fr $INST_TOP/ora/10.1.3/j2ee/oafm/persistence/*
rm -fr $INST_TOP/ora/10.1.3/j2ee/forms/persistence/*
again start the services ------>>> adopmnctl.sh start
restart your machine ....
this solution worked for my pc ...
note ** solution may differ for different users ....

I did get a "server busy" message when I loaded quicktime, but I'm not sure if it is related or not since I've been seeing that over the last couple of days, I can't remember if it came before iTunes stopped working or not. That message reads "This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose 'switch to' to activate the busy program and correct the problem." My options then are to choose switch to or retry. When I press "switch to" my Start menu opens, and nothing appears to happen when I select retry.
that's an odd sort of a message (or series of messages).
hmmmmm. let's try an experiment aimed at working out if there's a program interfering with the QuickTime (which is in turn causing grief with your iTunes).
try a selective startup using MSCONFIG, with just the itunes and QuickTime background processes enabled, as per the following document:
