i've to make a final yr project... so i have decided to make a mail server in JAVA w/o using any mail server APIs.. do u people think its a good project to work on...??? my profs r saying that these softwares r already in the market.. so they want me to work on something different... n i have no idea of what shud i make.. i m totally confused.. right now i m just thinking of making a mail server... if u have any good projects then u r most welcome to tell me..
For mail server i read many RFCs of different protocols.. but i m not getting any good logical description on how to start with a mail server... n i m not et all interested in getting a already written code.. i really want to work on it..
i've this request that plzz show be a better way... i m really in need of it..

Your db_recovery_file_dest_size is too small....just do an alter system set db_recovery_dest_size='xG' where x is a number you pick...
This will get you going...but think about backing up your archive logs if they are taking up the space...look in your db_recovery_file_dest to see what's using up the space...

Strange problem in N73, Pleez help me guys....

hve just got a Nokia N73 about 2 mnths back.
Whenever i receive a GSM call, i get a ring for few seconds, then the phone hangs, keys stop working and the screen fades off. Finally the phone restarts.
Can someone tell whether its a known issue or a h/w problem. Plz help me guys.

download the latest version of nokia pc suite from here:

follow the instructions and install the pc suite...
then download the nokia software updater (NSU) from here

now first check that ur phone gets connected...(open pc suite and click on "get connected" follow the instructions please make sure that when it shows the usb being plugged into the phone,connect the usb to the cpu first then to the phone)
once this is done and ur phone is connected, u can go back to the pc suite main area and connect to the software updater....just follow the instructions.....

More often than not it is hard to install new software on computers that have been thrown about.

I think 32 bit is your answer. However, the mobile i7 processor does at least have one issue with Logic:

after a successful installation my system was working very fine ... i used the application and every thng seemed to work ok...
bt thren i restarted my pc nd this chaos started ....

1-restarted db listener
2-Disabled Distributed JVM Cache by changing "LONG_RUNNING_JVM=" from "true" to "false" in the oc4j.properties.

actually i performed the installation of 12R ON MY LAPTOP...
SORRY for posting it in 11I INSTALLATION issues...
my problem was solved by this action plan...
i am writing it here for some future reference ...
open a new shell and set your apps environment
then goto following directory -------->>> cd $ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME
stop this service ---->>> adopmnctl.sh stop
make a check if it is really down--------->>> ps -ef | grep <USER> grep opm (optional)
delete the following:
rm -fr $INST_TOP/ora/10.1.3/j2ee/oacore/persistence/* (optional but it would be better if u perform it)
rm -fr $INST_TOP/ora/10.1.3/j2ee/oafm/persistence/*
rm -fr $INST_TOP/ora/10.1.3/j2ee/forms/persistence/*
again start the services ------>>> adopmnctl.sh start
restart your machine ....
this solution worked for my pc ...
note ** solution may differ for different users ....

My iPod cannot be updated! Plz help!

I'm using a 30-GB iPod with Video, bought May 06 in Japan. It can't be updated for 1 month so far. I still can update songs into my iTunes properly, while songs in iTunes can't get into my iPod. I've tried to reset iTunes and iPods in my PCs for several times, but the problem can't be solved. Error message is "The iPod cannot be updated. The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable". Oh, I don't think my iPod's being not updatable due to iTunes 7.0 on Windows XP. The error message "Your iPod cannot be updated. The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable" also appears with my at-home PC which runs original iTunes 6.1 (the Apple running disk went with my iPod). I've come to realize that Folder "Photos" in the iPod may be the reason? I deleted pictures in it once, and since then, I can't add new photos, together with new songs from my iTunes library into iPod. When I double-click the Photos folder, the message "The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable" also appears. How can I fix it? I've reset my iPod but failed to fix the problem. App Store Is Not Working ??? plz help

Hey guys I updated my iPod (4th generation) to iOS6.1.2 about 2 weeks ago but suddenly yesterday my App Store stopped working. When I open it it's all blank in features,search,etc?? Plz help how can I make my App Store work ??

Plz Help setting up my Mac g4 with WRT54g. PLEASE!!

Hey, first let me say that I am brand new to doing anything wireless. Just never had the need for it before and now I am completly lost and havnt a clue what to do or where to go. Here is my situation and what I want to accomplish.
First I am not trying to go wireless with my Mac. I purchased the router so I could use my internet connection with my XBox360 which is hooked up downstairs from my computer. So basically what Iwant to do is just hardwire my Mac into the router and keep the router right next to my computer. I purchased the Xbox360 Wireless network adaptor and should have all the equipment to get this thing working. The problem is Idont know how to set up the router as no software for the Mac was included and I dont have a wireless card in my Mac or anything like that. I just wanted to plug the internet connection into the router, connect my Mac to port 1 and have the Xbox be the only thing really wireless. Ihope I explkained that good enough.
I tried just hooking it up and putting the Ethernet cord from my computer in Port 1 but nothing is working. Ieven tried setting up the Xbox360 and it keeps stopping at the DNS section of the setup operation.
I am clueless where to go from here. I called on the phone and they told me that it doesnt support the Mac but everywhere I look it says that the Mac is supported and even the sales guy said I could use my Mac with this model. I am completly lost and dont know who can help me now. What should have been really simple to setup has now been a total nightmare and a waste of 175 bucks.
I would be forever endebted to anyone who can help or even point me in the right direction. Again all I want is to keep the router by my computer and keep the computer connected with a wire. Its the Xbox that I really purchased this for. Plz help.

Well, for the MAC you will have to manually configure the router. You forgot to mention the name of your ISP. If it’s a cable connection then try this :
Open IE and type http://192.168.1.1 . You will see the login screen.
Leave the username blank and type "admin" for the password. You will find the set up screen. Go to " Mac Address Clone" subtab. Enable it and click on "clone". Save the settings and power cycle If it’s a DSL connection , under the " Basic Setup " page, change the internet connection type as PPPoE and enter the username and password provided by the ISP.
Now, once you have an internet connection on the computer, you can try to use your x-box 360.

I bought one for xmas for myself anbd i had to leave the country for vacation that<s mainly why i bought it. Anyway yea, since monday i entered my cruise it screwed up cuz of those security scan i dunno what to do its showing up the little ! message when i try to open it i tried to toggle hold...and mnmenu and select but doesnt work tried to plug it to a pc doesnt work either the pc does reconize it as an ipod but the screen of the ipod is like the old one not in color or anything showing not disconnect and charging but itunes and ipod updater doesnt show up im really stuck do i need internet on the laptot to make it work plz help guys im stuck in the middleof the ocean so i really dunno how to fix it.

I hope its gonna work now switched computer, sorry those pc in this ship suck lol.
Anyway the folder with the ! appear when i try to open my ipod since monday, when i went throughout the security thing to get to the ship. Since then, i tried to do the first thing they say

2.Plug it to a computer(doesnt have internet) but the thing is when i cnnect it it shows that it charge and do not discnnect but its an older screen its not the one i used to get it seems like an older ipod software .... 1.) Actually perform some user input of any kind. Right now, the user has no choice.
2.) Read from your file, for that's why you opened it.
3.) Don't use a DataInputStream unless you know what you're doing. Use a BufferedReader instead if it's simply text.

I have create an infoset named ZPMPLN_ITEM under that there is three tables MPLA,MPOS
I want to display some fields from MPOS TABLE IN MPLA TABLE , how can i achieve this .
i have already joined both the table using SQ02 but i am not getting the procedure to insert the field from one table to another table .
Plz help me if anybody having any idea on this.
