Plz help me with wi-fi

i am not familiar with the wi-fi network. i am useing verizon fios adn i got the free router( MI424WR i believe it is ) i am having trouble conneting to it. any reasons why i can't? only the first to things pop up in settings>wi-fi>wi-fi networks. i don't get the router or DNS but i get the IP address adn subnet mask. can some1 plz help me out here

I'm trying my level best to mould my expectations according to the software but till now no success,can you plz explain
to make the timeline less cluttered and organized we make secondary storylines and compound clips
since you can't keep too many things in order in a big project you take a portion ,compound it , work in it and come back,
within the compound clip you put transitions and some secondary storylines get created automatically within the compound clip due to applying transitions.
When you come back to the main timeline there are several times you have to break apart that compound clip,to now add more shots before and after those individual arrangement of clips ......
but since it has a secondary storyline in it, it break aparts undoing all the transitions
if instead of compound clip it is a secondary storyline it creates problem if we have to retime clips the clip again and again leaves its assigned position,nor does it eat on or overlapp the slug it has created with a P tool , when dragged,retiming it increases that clip in both directions thus leaving the assigned place......,or with opacity overlapping or for split screen have to be controlled individually from within the secondary clip in association with another clip below it...........at that moment you definately want to break it apart......
(I'm assuming that you are understanding I have to work in several layers sometimes six or seven due to complex overlapping ,split screen, keying and titles etc which you can't keep in a linear order)
Now plz suggest how should I work,
in my music videos there are more than 300 bits of clips in a 5 minute song......in several layers because of mulitilayer opacity effect and split screens
it is not possible to cut all the clips first and then put transitions in the end because you have to try arrangement of clips with transitions to see if you get the proper feel of the music else you change the order.......plz suggest me a better work flow.....
I cannot keyword things in the event browser because keywording such huge number of moments including 2-3 second shots is simply impossible because the process of trying various combinations can only be done when you have them all on the timeline in various layers..........how should I begin and what process should I stick to so that I edit portions finish them come back to main timeline and everything remains unaltered.........Thank you plz help.

So does this mean......If you can't drag your final work directly from the event browser from the beginning , you are in trouble ?
Thanks Tom ......................I know you cannot make this software work the way you want the only workflow I see possible is making event browser , the source of your footage at the very start of your project....as if you have planned the editing of all those 300 bits of a music video on the paper before hand......be it organizing clips or using split screen generators the source has to be from the event browser ,once clips are on the timeline the possibilities are too limited.......
The only way of categorizing clips on timeline are roles which only unhighlight other clips ....it again cannot be used like a selected list of source to make the place less messy.....I think even smart collection works from the event browser not from the timeline because I tried that also.Is it so....?
A FANTASY ....I wish there was a way where you could select selective clips from the timeline and refer them in a place from where they would all show up like original clips from the event browser so that you could just drag those exact pieces and place one after the other trying combinations and boom........ like you do parts from clips ......but once everything is on timeline I have still not figured out a way that you can have a bank where all those selected bits can be seen even as reference thumbnails and a then they can be placed sequentially on a timeline........dragging , move and pasting , flipping between timelines is the only way of doing it neatly,and that is very tiring and time consuming .....when two timelines can also not be placed in two windows.......I hope you are understanding what I want.......if you can't drag your final work directly from the event browser from the beginning , you are in trouble.
In earlier versions you could atleast keep all your selected 2-3 second bits or shots on various tracks and just drag them in the final track.....Is there anyway you think can be done in fcpx......I use it because it has some outstanding features other than layers .....else still have to figure out a way....plz help Tom.

i have developed a screen with flow logic.it has few mandatory fields , radiobuttons,check boxes and pushbuttons such as Create,Save,Display,Back. after entering the values and save i have no problem but when taking back or display it is asking for mandatory field i need not give values for those field to take back.plz provide me with very quick response.
and how do i save data from selected checkboxes or from radiobuttons to ztables and how do i retrieve data back to radiobutton in selected format .

Goto menu painter and give given status for ur program-> go to standard tool bar and double click on BACK and select Function type = E.
or
double click on ur PF status and do the same.
once you give function type E, write one module under PAI like below.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
MODULE BACK AT EXIT-COMMAND.
code for Module BACK
IF ok_code = 'BACK' OR ok_code = 'EXIT'.
CLEAR: ok_code.
LEAVE TO SCREEN 100." This is the screen where u want to come back
ENDIF.
ENDMODULE.
This module BACK is executed wherever u write under PAI when Function type E is defined for Screen Element.

I tried your code and its working fine..I think the problem is with the location of your image. In the src attribute, give the correct location of the image. If you are giving /images/im.bmp, the folder images should be in the same directory as your jsp. Hope it help.

You can put the POI jar file in the WEB-INF/lib directory of your application, or if you want to use it in multiple applications you can put it in the tomcat 4.1/shared/lib directory.

font = font.deriveFont(fontAttributes);I use this font in the graphics.drawString() method, but it seems like the text is drawn with PLAIN style, no effect of bold at all.
If i change the WEIGHT_ULTRABOLD to WEIGHT_BOLD, it works, the text is drawn with BOLD style.
I wonder what is wrong ? I really want the BOLD to be 'bolder', thicker ^.^

I see the same thing.
The API for TextAttribute describes WEIGHT_ULTRAWEIGHT as
specifying "The heaviest predefined weight", but as you point out
you get plain rather than bold.
This bug (http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=4920831)
describes the problem:
"Fonts can be created using TextAttributes in a Map. Unlike the standard
Font constructor, which just uses a boolean 'bold' bit in the style mask,
the Map can provide a range of values for WEIGHT. In JDK 1.4.2 and 1.5,
only the weight coresponding to WEIGHT_BOLD creates a bold font-- the
rest are plain. At a minimum, all values for TextAttribute.WEIGHT that are
greater than the value for WEIGHT_BOLD should also create a bold font.
"Furthermore, different weights should (to a point) result in fonts that
appear to be of different weights, even if there are no corresponding
underlying fonts. Fonts of increasing weight should display with a
corresponding increase in boldness.
"Changes in weight should not necessarily cause a change in advance.
Synthesized weight changes should impact advance minimally, if at all."
The evaluation claims that "WEIGHT >= WEIGHT_BOLD will cause a

Plz help prob with a query and.. a trigger

hi..
1)i've created a view.gave the commit..
now when i execute this query i get no rows selected...
sql>select text from user_views where view_name='d1_v';even when i give sql>select * from user_views; all i see are column names and nothing else..
do i need to grant my user any privilige. my user has create any view privilige.
2)
is it possible for me to create a trigger that updates records by itself for every 6 months by adding 1000 to the sal field
i tried
create or replace trigger after logon on emp ..............like that
but i receive an error saying system triggers cannot be based on tables or views..
plz help me out..

1. Try "select text from user_views where view_name='D1_V';
BTW, no need to use "commit", CREATE VIEW is a DDL command, and DDLs do implicit commit.
2. Why do you want to use triggers ? You can do that in at least two other ways : cron jobs and Oracle jobs.

Hi can somebody plz help me with cross domain RSL

i am currently working on optimisation techniques in flex 3.2.
i have to execute the commands (eg :
mxmlc.exe -o=myRSLmodule.swf -file-specs=<an as file form your swc> -source-path=<source path>)
any many more formaking cross domain RSL .
can somebody please help me with what these command are meant for and where do i run these like command promp or some where else ....and what all settings are required to run those..

Ok so a few days ago I bought two untested iBooks labeled as g4's but ended up being g3's some questions
1 how hard are they to kill. (do you think they are DOA??)
2 how long do the hard drives last and do you think I will have to replace them soon
3 only one of the computers has ram (not really a question but [ if I do upgrade what ram card should I get])
4 both computers do NOT have airport cards can I get wireless another way?
5 both of them look kinda different. One has a clear shell around the screen and the other is solid white and the keyboard look different. One is clear white and the other is almost a solid white does that mean anything?
6 one of them the disk drive door (the thing that pops open) dosent stay closed why?
7 what programs can I run on these?
8 if I get a external hard drive....what size and kind do I get?
9 if they have a operating system what is the best to update too?
10 both battery's are dead...(power wise--I am still waiting for a charger to come in). Will the iBook g4 battery fit because I have heard good things about it compared to the g3 battery
11 can I connect my iPod touch 4g to it?
12 if I need a new keyboard will a g4 keyboard work?
13 for the Bluetooth to work do I need a airport card?
14 is the computer going to be slow?

How durable an iBook is depends greatly on how it is used and how much care is taken in its use.
Rule of thumb is a hard drive gets rather "iffy" after three years if the iBook is used a great deal. If only used occasionally, the hard drive can last much longer.

All parts are not interchangeable (one's logic board won't work in the other).
An iBook G4 keyboard will NOT work with an iBook G3.
Most iBooks are 12-inch, but some are 14-inch. If one is a 12-inch, and the other is a 14-inch, then about the only thing that is interchangeable is the charging adapter.

is the computer going to be slow?
"Slow" is a relative term. It depends on what you are comparing it to. It's not going to win any prizes for speed at this point, since it's over ten years old. Comparatively small (and old) hard drives, slower processors, and limitations on RAM all serve to slow down these little old iBooks.

I have found these tips for YouTube to be helpful as well:
Sometimes Firefox works better than other browsers for viewing YouTube videos.
Find the YouTube video you would like to view in Firefox.
Restart the iBook. (This clears the RAM, so the total RAM is available for viewing YouTube clips.)
Launch Firefox (and don't have any other applications running).
Go to History in the menu bar. Click on the YouTube video you want to view from History.
Use the Stop button on the YouTube player, and allow the video to load completely (watch the red progress bar fill up) before trying to view the video.

Someone plz help me with my k7n2 delta-ilsr

Hey everyone,
I just put my sytem togother and ran into a problem. I got the system to boot up just fine. It was not until I tried installing windows xp proffesional that I ran into problems. The installation process runs pretty smoothly, until the computer reboots to run windows for the first time. After it reboots the windows logo appears and the after 2 seconds or so, a blue screen appears saying that windows was shut down to prevent any damage to my computer. I have never encountered this problem before when I built other systems. The screen suggests that I should check my HDD's for viruses or check to see if they are configured correctly. The HDD's are SATA and I have them set up in RAID 0 mode and yeah I installed the RAID drivers during the installation process. Thinking that I had made mistake setting up the SATA drives, tried installing windows using a regular IDE hard drive and it gave the same message. I am stumped anybody have any ideas of what I might be doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated . My system specs are below.

(+3.3v = 26A, +5v = 32A, +12v=13A)

Memory that comes with timing of 5 2 2 2 or 6 2 2 2 or usally winbond BH-5 memory chips. Ones with 5 3 2 2 or CH-5 winbond chips. The BH-5 chips overclock a little better than the CH-5. (Muskin uses BH-5 winbond in there black ram)
Winbond is no longer making BH-5 chips but is going to make a limited run of them as demend is high for them.
The first number shown here is the Traz and it controls the flush timing bench testing is showing that a higher number of 9, 10 or 11 or getting better bench results than the 6 or 5. Thats with Dual Channel memory.
The timing you show probly should be something like 8 3 3 3 or 8 3 3 2.5 unless it is there faster Dual channel ram.
The timing numbers can also appear like this 2 2 2 5 the high number is the Traz either way.
Look on your memory manufactor web site for the timing that if should run at also look at the voltage as this can make a big differance.

Can any1 PLZ help me with my ipod?????I put my ipod in my pocket on lock, and when I took it out again it said on the display screen ipod is disabled..underneath it,it says connect to itunes ,however it wont let me in or anything..

The screen is telling you to connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes. You may have to also place the iPod in recovery mode in ordrer to allow a restore. For recovry mode:
