Sorry, but that opportunity has long passed. Your options now are:
Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service - this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax. It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.

You have to understand the difference between an Update and an Upgrade.
An Update is a free change to add to the base code or as a bug fix within an existing Operating System. Such as the .8 added to OSX 10.5 or the .11 added to OSX 10.4..
An Upgrade is a complete new Operating System that must be purchased. Such as 10.5 Leopard to 10.6 Snow Leopard.
10.5 Leopard was written for Power PC Macs with code added to force it to run on Intel processors.
10.6 Snow Leopard has completely rewritten code and only runs on Intel Macs.
10.7 Lion ($19.99) used some 32 bit which allows it to run on Late 2006 through Early 2008 MacBooks and a lot of 64 bit code.
10.8 Mountain Lion ($19.99) is pure 64 bit, which excludes more systems than Lion did. It can only run on the Late 2008 through Mid 2010 MacBooks. It's not something you can add memory to, for example, as it involves the base architecture.
10.9 Mavericks is pure 64 bit and is a free download from the App store.
The 10.6 Snow Leopard DVD is in the Apple online store. We have a Forms program here, where it's needed to generate a text file with .RTF format, 8 centimeters margin, Times New Roman font, with size 7.

sincere thanks for your answer. And, to answer your last question, I'm using client-server model.
Since I couldn't create this .RTF file by using built-ins like TEXT_IO, I tried to generate an .RTF file using Reports, passing the parameters DESTYPE, DESNAME and DESFORMAT, as shown below.
add_parameter (pl_id, 'DESTYPE', text_parameter, 'FILE');
add_parameter (pl_id, 'DESNAME', text_parameter, 'c:\franklin.rtf');
add_parameter (pl_id, 'DESFORMAT', text_parameter, 'RTF');
However, the just generated .RTF file is uncomprehensible. After opening the file at Microsoft Word, I can see the following message at the top of file:
This file was created by Oracle Reports. Please view this document in Page Layout mode.
... and informations doesn't appear as desired.
If I can't generate such text format by using TEXT_IO, and if generating an .RTF file through Reports shows me an incomprehensible result, how can I export the selected result to an .RTF file?
When Reports is opened, choosing Generate to file -> RTF doesn't export anything.

He is in basic training and can not be contacted to find out the needed information to unhook the phone from his Find my Iphone. I have already tried the Forgot passcode for your iphone and successfully restored the phone but it didnt fix the needing Apple ID of previos owner problem.

You need to send the person who set the lock these instructions and get that person to follow them. If neither the person who set the lock nor the device's original owner can be reached, it's useless to you.
Apple won't remove the lock for anyone other than the device's original owner. The activation lock is an anti-theft measure.

"Product Development Security Manager" and once you add this. Go to navigation as follows
Product Development Security Manager-->Oraganization parameter (here u need to define all the required fields)

If you are still within your 15 day return period. Call Apple they will sent out iDVD at no charge. (There are no realistic substitutes.)
Nicely explain that you may return the computer without iDVD. That usually does the trick. You MUST speak to a senior advisor to get a free copy. The first tier people cannot do it.

Telling them that somehow it is their fault for not having taken the proper precautions only adds to their frustration!
The fact that you personally have seen this problem happen countless times, has no significance to that one user who tomorrow will post the problem anew...
For those who are lucky enough to have the same hardware and have inquired about the problem ahead of their upgrade to Mavericks, the proper advice is to partition or add another hard drive and install Mavericks there!
Experiment with their existing environment in Mavericks but have the dual-boot ability to immediately go back to using Snow Leopard as needed.
Any other advice is heartless and cruel and certainly not harsh!

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on your iPad then try tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and select 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

You have to purchase major version upgrades. If you don't have an Intel model, then you can look for Leopard on eBay or Amazon.com. Be sure to purchase only a full retail installer.
If you have an Intel model, then purchase Snow Leopard from Apple's Online Store instead - $29.00.
