PMS-Balance score card.

Hi Team,
We want to adopt Balance score card method (PMS-Performance management system) in SAP.
is SEM (Strategic Enterprise Management ) is necessary for that.
Is there any workaround with out having SEM.
Could you give some light on this. if you can provide any note numbers for the same, it would be great help for me.

Measure definition not displaying in portal - balanced score card

Hi,
Please help very urgent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have just transported the balance score card from development to quality. When i tried to open the balance score card via portal i am unable to see the measure definitions.
I transported the measures by checking transporting meaures with text elements. All transports are successful.Only definition part is not visible.
I am using status of BI: SAP BW = SP 14 and SEM BW @SP 8.
1. Is this the support package issue or some portal setting for roles
2. Or anyother way to capture the definition of the measure. Please suggest how can i confirm that this time i have captured the definition of the measure as there is no specific task added in the transport for this purpose.

Resolved this issue.....its becz JAVA was not installed after replacing my system.

Copy BSP balance score card

Hi,
when I copy the standard BSP balance score card I get errors in my java scripts. Has someone already tried to copy the balance score card and solve the java script errors.
I have a custome who want to use SEM in a portal, with there own portal design. so I want to make a copy of the BSP and than change the layout files.

My friends have created one balance score card and they are facing the following problem.
When they try to view the data its giving an error no data available even though we have attached query that has data.are there any setting that we need set.

Linking Balance Score card to EP

Dear All,
I have created the Role in BW and assign the Balanced score card web URL to it and uploaded to EP. It is working fine in Development. I transported my role to BWQ client and again uploaded to QA -EP.
But when I am executing the Balancescore card it is directing me to BW Development client as the in the role BAlance score card web link is of development clinet i.e. hardcoded.
Can any body guide me how can assign my balance score to EP so that it will fetch the perticular client data. i.e. if I am execting BSC on EP-QA then it should direct to EP-BWQ not development.
Pls. advice it's very urgent.

Balance Score card data show in aggregation

Hi All,
I am developing a score card where I am using a structure which is displaying data in query as follows:
fiscal period   sales
007.2007          30
008.2007          40
But when I see the same data in score card it is displaying the sum and that too for all the periods
006.2007          70
007.2007          70
008.2007          70
009.2007          70
010.2007          70
and so on...
Please quide me in case i need to some setting for the display.

SEM Balanced Score Card

Hi Guys,
   There is a need to implement SEM Balanced Scorecard for my client, NYSE.
   Thier current Balanced Scorecard is heavily customised.Is there a standard SAP SEM Balanced Scorecard available as part of Business Content ?

Balanced score card: value fields(datasource)

Hi Friends,
I'm trying to assign measure to objective in scorecard design.
In value fields tab, specified two value fields: Actual & Plan and trying to assign datasource to these two. For that i clicked details button, it gives a pop-up asking data source information. If i click Read data source button simply that button turns to Refresh data source button. I'm unable to assign cube and query information for particular value field. Maintained same owner for both objective & measure. What might be the reason?

Using Blance Score Card Portlets

Hi,
I have installed portal 3.0.9 for use with Oracle Applications according to metalink note 146469.1.
I'm attempting to deploy the Oracle Balance Score Card 5.0.2 Portlets and I'm having the following problem.
Background:
I have created two applications users with different responsibilities.
I have created a score card which each of my two users have full access to.
I created a portal page with the KPI indicator portlet.
The portlet is set to view the scorecard and KPI's I have created.
Problem:
When I login to portal as Apps user 1, I can see the scorecard, if I log into the portal as Apps user 2, I'm getting an access denied error in the KPI portlet.
If I customize the portlet as user 2, make no changes but press apply then I can see the KPI, but If I log back into the portal as Apps user 1 I then get the access denied error again.
Can any one explain this security model ?? Will I need a different portal page for every Apps user ?? ( there could be 1000's)

Nanda - for mobile dashboards, you cannot really expand the column width at run time. Another work-around we did for a recent mobile dashboard implementation was to enable the scorecard property "Rows are selectable".
In this way, when you long press any cell of the scorecard, the complete text gets displayed in a separate bubble (something like a mouse over value). This can be really helpful when you have real estate constraints.

Getting Error while creating Score card

Hi ,
I was trying to create a score card using a simple BW query. But I am getting the following error whenever I run the application.

MM Vendor Evaluation Score Card Program RM06LBAT

Hello MM gurus,
I am trying to figure out what record selection criteria SAP uses in calculating a score in the Vendor Evaluation score card program RM06LBAT. We have our applicability period set to 090 days in configuration. Does the program look at records in S013 for the last 090 days from the run date of RM06LBAT? Or does the program look at records in S013 since the last vendor score card was generated? Is applicability period used in running the score card? How is the applicability period used in SAP for vendor evaluation?
We would like to run the score card program every 090 days (or once per quarter) and have SAP only evaluate scores for activity generated over the 090 day period.
I appreciate your assistance.
