PMS viewing of appraisal scores by the appraisee

Hi Friends,
I have an question on PMS.
Currently the performance appraisal scores are visible to employees (appraisees’) immediately after the Appraiser saves the score.
But the viewing of appraisal scores by the appraisee should be possible only after the appraisal scores are submitted by the appraiser.
Can any one help on this.

ECM Link to Appraisal Score

On ECC 5.0, we are setting up Enterprise Compensation Management, MBO Appraisals and MSS. We have the appraisals configured to where a form can become 100% completed. We have ECM configured completely as well. Our issue is that in our Compensation Planning iView in MSS we cannot figure out how to link the appraisal score to the employees for planning, use in guidelines, etc. We have activated the standard function module for this link, setup the standard column object to carry over this value, etc. When viewing the Appraisal column in MSS, each employee has a number 0 as their appraisal score, and we get an error message "No appraisal document found". Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Checking the following points may help you:
1. In view V_T71ADM20 (IMG activity - Define Matrix Dimensions), there should be 1 dimension for MBO appraisal (MBOA) with Method Parameter as the element (VA, VB or VC) in which the appraisal result will be stored.
2. In the same view V_T71ADM20, pay attention to field Dimension Date Shift. To give an example, if Appraisal documents end date (e.g. 31-Dec-05) is less than the Compensation Planning begin date (e.g. 01-Jan-06), enter 1 day in this field so that the error "No appraisal document found" doesnt appear.
3. Check IMG activities Define Guideline Matrices and Assign Matrix Values.
If none of these points help, do give some details of the customization done, in order to get some more clues.

ECM: Appraisal score in Planning I-view

Hi,
In the planning I-view you can customize the columns you want to show the user in view V_TWPC_ACOL. My customer would like to have the appraisal score in this view as well. Now the appraisal score is only visable when you go to the detailed employee data screen. Is it possible to have this value as a column in the planning I-view? I noticed that it is possible to create your own column and link it to a function module. Do I need to write a function module to solve this or is there a way within standard SAP?

That is what we did.. created a function module that reads the final rating of the Employee's Appraisal & tied that fm to the Rating column in the OADP..
I'm not aware of any Std function as yet..

In iOS 7 GameCenter, is there a way to view more than 75 scores on the Leaderboard?

I have an iPhone 4 running iOS 7. With iOS 6, I could view more than 75 scores on the GameCenter Leaderboard for various games. Now with iOS 7, it appears to be limited to only the top 75 scores. Is there a preference to allow more scores to be displayed, or is this game specific. Your thoughts are appreciated.

Do NOT repeat NOT use open in timeline. That function is for a specific purpose usually related to clip sync.
Create a new project and edit your audio into the project not inside another clip's timeline.

Captivate 5.5 is setting a Mastery Score in the Manifest when using Slide Views

We have encountered a problem with Captivate 5.5 where it is setting the Mastery Score in the manifest to match the Quiz score setting even though we are only using slide views to track completion. This is a problem because if we set the score to zero, our Saba LMS will immediately grant the user credit for the course on the first slide. If we set the score higher than zero, the user will never get credit for the course as Captivate doesn't send a score to the LMS when using slide views to track completion. Our LMS seems to ignore the status passed by the course once the Mastery Score is set. We have compared the manifest behavior in 5.0 and it does NOT set the Mastery Score. We can edit the manifest prior to loading in the LMS but this is a hassle and we'd like to figure out a way to permanently change the behavior to no longer set Mastery Score when using Slide Views to track completion.

I have some courses that use only slide views to track completion, because the quizzes are set as separate elements in the LMS we are using (from Oracle PeopleSoft). The LMS people are telling me they require a masteryscore of 0 to be included in the SCORM manifest file when using slide views. However, when the manifest files are created, there is no mastery score included in the manifest.
Is there a way to force Captvate 6 to publish a mastery score in the SCORM manifest even when the completion criteria are 80% slide views?

I am not sure, but you can always unzip the SCORm package and add the masteryscore by hand
In your manifest there should be an organizations section like this. Add <adlcp:masteryscore> under the <item> tag

How to restrict the appraisee list

Hi Friends,
I have a requirement where I have to filter the list of appraisees from the F4 help based on the appraiser. Now, the system is listing all the employees in the organization when F4 is pressed for the Appraisee.
I have implemented a BAdi 'HRHAP00_TMPL_RESTR' & 'HRHAP00_TMPL_608'. But, this BAdi is a add on, which cannot be entered in the view clusters 'VC_T77HAP_BASIC' & 'VC_T77HAP_CATEGORY'. So, I am not understanding how to make use of this BAdi. This BAdi has to be triggered when F4 help icon is pressed for the appraisee in the apprails template.
Could any one please help me to over come this issue. i.e., filter the F4 help list for appraisee based on the Appraiser.

Strange viewing behaviour on score page view on Logic 7.2.0 on MacBookPro

I recorded some sequences in Logic 7.2.0 on my MacBookPro and, seeing them in page view mode, I get a strange viewing behaviour: the staffs continue going straight on overshooting the "white delimited page zone". If I try to zoom out I can't obtain the "more pages view" option normally obtained.
If I reopen this song on the logic 7.2.0 situated in my G5 all is fine. Why?

Guys, I think this problem has to do with the scale parameter of the instrument set being translated incorrectly on Intel/MPB (quite possibly affecting even the "ALL" instrument set, which has no adjustable parameters). Now, I don't have an Intel Mac or MBP, but based on my recent experiences in PPC and similar problems, plus what I've read here, I think I might be on to something...
I'm going to suggest that you guys who are having problems with staves going off the page to do the following test:
1) Open one of your problematic songs and view the score editor where the off-the-page staves are displayed
2) If you're using the "ALL" instrument set, read on. If not, go to #3 below.
ALL Instrument Set: if you're using this just to see a preliminary version of your score, close the score window, select ALL, and open the score editor. This forces the creation of a new instrument set. Do these staves go off the page? If not, you're good to go. But if they do go off the page...
a) go to your printer settings and make sure that you have valid settings there. This includes the printer type, page size, and scaling. If they're set to default values (like "most recent printer"), be sure to select an actual printer on your system.
b) open the Instrument Set parameters for the set that was created just before. Set the scale parameter to 200%, then make it 50%, then make it 100%. If my theory is correct, your music should now stay on the page.
3) If you're using a custom instrument set repeat steps a) and b) above. See if that clears up the problem.
I'd be curious to know if any of the above fixes the problem for you. Again, it's just a theory, but maybe it has legs...

Viewing limits & average score on dvd

does anyone know if dvd studio pro 4 has the capability of limiting the number of times a dvd can be viewed once it's burned. for example, via a script can you set a viewing limit of say 25 times and on the 26th time the dvd will not be useable?
also i'm creating an interactive test and would like to know if studio pro will be able to provide avg scores at the end of the test session via a script. plz advise.

You can limit the number times a track or menu is viewed by adding a value to a GPRM each time that portion of the disc is accessed. Another script can be used to check that value. Once it reaches 25 it can no longer allow that portion of the disc to played. The problem is that registers are re-set once you eject a disc so its only possible once a disc starts.
You can determine averages of scores with scripts as well. Lets say you have 10 questions. Each correct answer adds a value to a GPRM. An incorrect answer add NO value. So after the test session you can determine the avg score with a script like:
1. go to 12 if GPRM 0=0
2 go to 13 if GPRM 0=1
3 go to 14 if GPRM 0=2
4 go to 15 if GPRM 0=3
5 go to 16 if GPRM 0=4
6 go to 17 if GPRM 0=5
7 go to 18 if GPRM 0=6
8 go to 19 if GPRM 0=7
9 go to 20 if GPRM 0=8
10 go to 21 if GPRM 0=9
11 go to 22 if GPRM 0=10
12 Jump Menu "no correct answers"

Remember you'll need to design different menus for each percentage correct reading. You can also use Compare option ( "<">=", ect) to determine your percentages. There are different ways to achieve the same thing in scripting - The script above is just how I think

EHP4-Appraisal document: how the query is defined?

i 'd like to know how the appraisal document query is defined for MSS and ESS. I know from online help, that is linked to a worklist setting ,but i can not find anyclue on where the worklist is given for the iview.
and i 'd like to know what is the reason why sap uses WORKLIST instead of OADP, they look similar to me.

PMS OSA - Part appraisal at any state

Hi Experts,
One of our requirement is to get feedback from part appraisers at any stage of the appraisal process i.e., 'In Planning', 'In Review' and 'In Process' states. However, as per help, i read that feedback from Part Appraisers can only be obtained when the appraisal form in state 'In Process'. This is one of our key requirement. How can we achieve this?

Please ensure that you are accessing the part appraiser document, only for the Part Appraiser document the Part Appraiser ID adn roles are shown.
Be dafault Phap_admin_pa only shows the main appraisal document. In order to view the part appraisal documnet, add the part appraisers in the selection screen besides the part appraisrs and then execute, the output will give u all part documents and appraisal document type should be "part document".

In the year view, why is iCal coloring the boxes?

In the year view, why is iCal coloring the boxes and what does each color mean and how do we change it? It makes no sense or has any rhymn or reason according to what is in my calendar.

By default it is colored by the number of entries for each day. From white for no entries through yellow to orange and then red for the most entries.

Can't view my user control in the designer (An Unhandled Exception has occurred)

I'm using VS 2012, looking at some code I wrote some time ago. For some reason I cannot view the XAML in the design view, only the XAML view. I'm getting an error that says, "An Unhandled Exception has occurred". I can compile the solution fine,

I stopped when I saw stuff about databinding.
I guess your problem is you have code in your constructor.
A prameterless constructor of a view will be called by the designer.
This is probably trying to use things which aren't there at design time.
You can mock them or just exit out the constructor if you're in the designer.

The HUD Inspector in Full Screen View seems to position at the right margin of the image as a default(?) If I toggle the button in the top right of the HUD it 'unlocks' and I can drag it to where I prefer -- at the left margin; (for over a decade) my dock has resided at the right margin so all my slider manipulation over countless editing sessions in Aperture has been ingrained to work at the left margin -- but, the vast majority of the time, the HUD overlaps the image I am editing in this 'unlocked' mode.
Every occasionally I enter Full Screen View and it positions on the left margin *without* superimposition...(!) My great joy is modulated into aggravation, however, should my tracking cursor drift all the way 'out of bounds' -- to call in the hidden pane of adjacent images sequenced in the library... This dramatically shrinks the Full Screen display and re-locks the HUD; if I toggle the switch to re-xpand the image it re-positions at the right margin!!!! I SOOoooooo wish I knew how to control the default 'locked' margin of the HUD in Full Screen View...

Drag it over to the Left. Then lock it there.

Materialized view not being used in the report

I have had a materialized view (MV) for a particular report. Recently, the report definition has changed little bit, so the existing MV is not being used by the report anymore. I copied the code Discoverer's SQL Inspection and recreated the materialized view. But still it is not working. Obviously, I am missing something at the database level. Does anyone have any idea? The database is 9i and Discoverer is 9.0.2. Thank you!

The SQL that you see from the Inspect SQL option will provide you with the SQL that Discoverer sends to the database. The database then may do a query rewrite to point to an available materialized view if available. This rewrite won't be seen from the inspect sql option. You need to check at the database level to verify if a query rewrite did in fact take place.
